Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Hello Beautiful - Monochromatic Layout

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back for more gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Wild At Heart inspiration!
Today I have a super pretty, monochromatic layout for you.
I am totally smitten by all the blues in Wild At Heart, and just had to use them all!
I love how very feminine blue can be too!

Here's my monochromatic layout,
"Hello Beautiful"

Oh how gorgeously girly is this?!! I love those pretty blues! Hello Beautiful, indeed!

You'll spy that weathered board paper, reverse side of CV-WH002 ARTISAN as my main feature paper. I love that distressed vintage look! I've layered it with the gorgeous VELLUM SHEET, and backed it all with white cardstock.
My sweet photograph is supported by 3 x 4 cut apart card from paper CV-WH004 PATCHWORK, as well as a journal card from CV-WH006 FUSSY CUTS
You'll also notice two indigo CHIPBOARD FRAMES, a DIE CUT EPHEMERA doily, and a few ACCESSORY STICKERS for good measure! Just divine!

*I should make note that the white doily is from my stash, and not from Cocoa Vanilla Studio*

Let's take a closer look at it all......

Isn't that the sweetest CHIPBOARD FRAME poking out beneath my photo?!! I adore that pattern!
Speaking of adore, oh my, that bow!!!
I think I need to convince Zoe to make this a future pattern paper design - it's just the cutest!!! The CHIPBOARD ACCENT STICKERS are just the perfect adornment to any page!
You'll notice that I used them for my vertical title too.....

Hello Beautiful! That title just pops! Love it!!!
Another 'pop' item would have to be that fabulous FLAIR BUTTON - it's so glossy you can see a reflection in it!?! And it adds such a polished finishing touch to my photo layers!

Here's another look at it....

Yep, that FLAIR BUTTON is awesome sauce! And ooooooh, those layers!!!
That HAPPY arrow, & intricate periwinkle print doily are from the DIE CUT EPHEMERA pack, and are firm favourites of mine - that doily is SO pretty!

Another awesome CHIPBOARD FRAME, a few ACCESSORY STICKERS and a lil more DIE CUT EPHEMERA pieces complete my layout. So very beautiful!

I hope you've enjoyed viewing my monochromatic take on Wild At Heart!

Paper Issues: April New Issue: Round 2

Hi Creative Friends!

Mid month signals Round 2 of our New Issue at Paper Issues!
This month's issue is:

Put the Petal/Pedal to the Metal/Medal

Suggested ideas:

-Use metallics and/or metal embellishments
-Create a project using flowers or about gardening and spring
-Share something about transportation like bicycles, motorcycles, cars (your first car or current ride), toy cars
-Show us a project about awards and/or accomplishments

Naturally, I went straight to the florals for this one!
Here's my layout,

"Just Be You"

Oh my!!! All the floral things for my sweet girl!
I have used the stunning Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Wild At Heart collection, & while I may be biased, I don't think it gets any prettier than this!
Just look at those layers!!!
Truly love how bold and beautiful this is!

Here's a few close ups....

So pretty!!!
The doily, cotton thread and white punched butterflies are from my stash,
& the bitty blooms and sequins are actually from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Love Always line.
Everything else is from the Wild At Heart collection - I know, so many paper pretties!!!
Here's another view.....

Those bold pattern papers and the lusicous layers they create are just stunning!

Such a beautiful girl! I truly hope she doesn't change. Not one little bit! Love her!

Paper Issues: April Swag Bag Sunday

Hi Creatives!

It's time for a lil Paper Issues Swag Bag inspiration with

I love the Paper Issues Swag Bags & this month's is just divine - check it out!

Absolute awesome sauce!!!

I fell in love with this kit instantly & created not one but 2 layouts with it!

Here's my first one,

"Do Your Thing"

La la LOVE all those flamingos! This Swag Bag is just perfection!
Everything you see on my page is from the mini kit apart from the following items:
12 x 12 white cardstock, mixed media materials, chipboard lemonade bottle & "Do Your Thing" title.
Everything else you see is from the Swag Bag (even that Heidi Swapp stamp 'love this'!?!)
 Total awesomeness!
I also love that I used my Paper Issues happy mail pocket card too - let's be honest, the flamingos have it all!!!
Here's a closer look....

To make my 3 x 4 cards stretch further, I tend to cut them and then layer beneath another piece of paper to give the impression of a larger card.
You'll notice that trick on the pink flamingos paper below.....

Lots of layering and lots of sweet birds!

How cool is that inflatable flamingo embellishment?!!
Just loving it all!!!!

But I did say two layouts, so here is other one.....

"Fantastic"

Isn't this awesome?!!
I LOVE the colours and flow in this one!
I created this for Paper Issues Scraplift Sunday.
The original design is from the incredibly talented Cassie Box
(you can see the original on her instagram here)
Again, everything you see on this layout is from the March Swag Bag with the exception of the mixed media materials,
and the 'Fantastic' title and 12 x 12 paper which are both courtesy of Pinkfresh Studio.
Here's a closer look at those stunning 3 x 4 card layers....

Just stunning!!!

And there you have it! My inspiration with March Swag Bag!

Pinkfresh Studio: Stamp All About It!

Hi Friends!

Today I am super excited to be sharing 2 very different layouts for Pinkfresh Studio,
that feature some of their fabulous NEW stamps!
There are SO many amazing new stamps that my biggest problem was deciding which ones to use!
But enough chatter, let's see what I created!
First up, is this subtle stamped layout,
"Live More"

How fabulously fun is this?!!
I adore the Live More collection - so fresh and contemporary! Just perfect for my style of memory keeping! I've combined it with a few embellishments from the Mix No. 1, and the subtle stamping is from the Live More Stamp Set.
I've stamped the sentiments in striking black ink to make them pop!
The criss cross pattern is stamped in tangelo ink, to mimic the original print on the paper. Very subtlte, very cool!
Let's take a closer look.....

As well as that subtle stamping, I've used a ton of puffy stickers on this layout. I truly can't get enough of those puffy stickers!!!
And the foiled chipboard stickers are also super cool!

Totally awesome!
Next up is this super dreamy page....
"Dream On"

Isn't this just the sweetest?!! My big dreamer!
For this layout, I've teamed The Mix No.1 with the playful Dream On line, and I just love the result! This colour combination is so stunning!
I've also mixed my stamp sets; using the Dream On set, as well as the Little Love set by Lizzie M. Check out that adorable little rabbit holding the star wand! Omgoodness - can it get any cuter?!!! Needless to say, this was always going to be a girly and whimsical page!

How amazing are the acrylic mirror stickers?!! I just love that shiny title - so impressive!
Like my first layout, I've stamped all my sentiments in black ink. The sentiment stamps are all from Dream On stamp set.
The Little Love stamps are super cute and fun! They kinda have a kawaii feel to them with their cutesy faces too! To keep them childish in nature, I've stamped them in royal blue, saffron yellow and mint inks. I really heart that rabbit!!!!
So many gorgeous embellishments here too.....

Naturally I used the golden, blue an yellow stars from The Mix No.1 - just perfect for this twinkly stars, dreamer's page!
And those layered chipboard stickers are just so awesome! I love them!

And there you have it!
Two very different layouts from Pinkfresh Studio's latest releases that feature stamps!
I hope you liked them & they've inspired you to get stamping on those layouts!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Wild At Heart: Easter Theme

Hi Cocoa Vanilla Lovelies!!!

I am super excited to be sharing my Easter theme layout for Cocoa Vanilla Studio with you all today!
I am still totally crushing on their Wild At Heart collection, and have combined it with a Silhouette Store cut file for my scrapbook layout. The photo I am scrapping is from last year's Easter Hunt when my son discovered Peter Rabbit in Mr McGreggor's vegetable patch - so cute!
But enough chatter, let's get straight into the good stuff!

"Easter"

Isn't that photo just the sweetest?!!! A happy Easter memory for sure!
And how about that stunning background paper?!! I've used pattern paper, CV-WH002 - ARTISAN, and I just love the instant mixed media look it offers! Those watercolour swatches are just divine!  A beautiful painterly background without all the drying time - perfection!

I've paper pieced my cut file with a few pretty Wild At Heart papers too.....

Super pretty, huh?! You'll spy CV-WH001 LUSCIOUSCV-WH003 MARIPOSA, & CV-WH007 GROW WILD. The marble pattern on the reverse side of GROW WILD was ideal for backing my Easter eggs onto! Love how they turned out! I also supported the cut file with a ton of foam to really make it 'pop' off the page, and embellished it with some gorgeous blooms and butterflies from the DIE CUT EPHEMERA pack.
Beneath my Easter title, you'll also notice a sweet butterfly FLAIR BUTTON
here's a closer look....

It's no secret that I heart all the Cocoa Vanilla Studio FLAIR BUTTONS, but this butterfly one is just sooooo pretty! Love it! Best Ever, indeed!
That Best Ever! is actually a sticker from the ACCESSORY STICKERS that I have backed with cardstock and mounted on foam dots. I often use my stickers as an alternate to ephemera pieces, & the sentiment on this sticker worked beautifully with my happy Easter story.
To bring everything together, I've mounted my sweet photograph with two DIE CUT EPHEMERA frames (that just happen to coordinate with the papers in my Easter title), & then mounted a CHIPBOARD FRAME , that matches my base paper (ARTISAN)over my photograph. This really brings unity to the overall design, and provides balance as well.

The TOGETHER Happiness RIGHT HERE sentiments are from the pattern paper, CV-WH006 FUSSY CUTS. and the type writer words are more awesome stickers from the ACCESSORY STICKERS sheet.
Here's a closer look at the FUSSY CUTS .....

So much pretty going on here!

For finishing touches I added a few more DIE CUT EPHEMERA pieces, and voila! Page complete!
I just love how everything coordinates together so beautifully - perfection!
I hope you liked seeing my Easter theme page,
& feel inspired to scrapbook your Easter memories with Cocoa Vanilla Studio!

Paper Issues: April Roll The Dice

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues fun with the April edition of

This month the dice decided that we use 6 stickers and 2 tags on our layouts.
And as for the number of photos? Well this month it's totally your choice!
Use as many, or as few, as you'd like!

Here's what I created,

"Magic"

How fun is this?!! So pretty too!
Absolutely love these pics of my two down at the rock beach!
I've used the gorgeous Pinkfresh Studio Dream On collection, and combined it with embellishments from The Mix No.1 line for this layout.
My design has been inspired by windmills. My son commented how windy it was that day, and we should have made windmills to play with. So here's a kind of windmill for his album. So cool!
My 2 tags are positoned beneath my photo layers, and I have used exactly 6 stickers (as long as you don't count the enamel dots - lol!)
Here's a closer look.....

So much happiness and joy! It truly is magic in my eyes!

You Only Live Once - so go make those sweet memories!
Love these two to bits!!!

And there you have it! My take on this month's Roll The Dice!

Paper Issues: April Mix It Up Monday

Hi Paper Pals!

Time to get your messy on with this month's edition of

Yayyyyyyy!!!

I love a lil mixed media fun and today's challenge is super awesome!
Simply use the salt resist technique with your favourite, inks, dyes and or, watercolours on your layout.
Too easy, and boy oh boy, so much FUN!!!
But enough chatter, here's what I came up with.....

"Magic"

Isn't this stunning?! Just look at the salt resist pattern - so pretty!!!
The unicorn is part of the Spring Crop free cut files that you can grab in the Paper Issues store here.
I really love the free cutfiles and seriously, unicorns!?!! What more can I say. Love it!
You'll spy mixed veneers and stickers from my stash, a few odds and ends from TYPO, Thickers from Amy Tangerine, and Shimelle's Little By Little collection.
Here's a closer look at that stunning mixed media work.....

It's so striking!
I used purple, magenta, pink and red inks, lots of water and rock salt.
The trick is to get the inks 'puddling' and then add the rock salt to dry it all up. Be sure everything is dried out before removing the salt.
So much fun!!!

Magic, indeed!

OMG! How fun are all the photo filters / snap chat looks that you can play with?
This rainbow unicorn one of my daughter is her favourite!
(We may have hundreds of shots of her as a unicorn, lol!)
It adds to the playfulness of this design, and is just a perfect match with that cut file too!

All the papers in my photo cluster are Shimelle's Little By Little. This range is so vibrant, and whimsical and was the perfect choice for this magical layout!
La la love this!
