CMS Challenge #68

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by for a peak at my take on
Challenge #68 over at Color Me Scrappy!
Here's what the challenge looks like......

I know - what a fabulous colour palette to create with!!!
& the extra challenge is an 'Ode to Summer'
I had so many wonderful ideas for this challenge but as always, more ideas than time!
I decided on creating a super cute mini from our most recent Summer photos.
Here's my cover.....

So cute!
I created this mini entirely from the Kaisercraft Dream Big Collection.
The album was super easy to create ( & actually only used one sheet of paper!)
The only extras are washi tape, blue tulle and the Kikki K fold back clip.
Let's look inside........

Lots of Dream Big Collectables featured here!

A lovely spot of journalling to remind us of these happy moments.

Back cover

And there you have it! A really cute mini made from only one sheet of paper!
Too easy and a fantastic keepsake!
Thanks for taking time out of your day to view my creations!
If you would like to join in on the fun over at CMS click here!
(We would love to see your take on this challenge too!)

Scrap & Play: Challenge #8

Hi everyone!
Thankyou for taking time to come by and see what I've been creating
for Challenge #8 over at Scrap & Play!
Here's what the challenge looks like............

An ode to our four-legged friends!
Hmm..... I don't scrap pets!
Well, actually, apart from a very un-photogenic turtle, we don't have any pets.
This could be an interesting page!
Here's what I came up with....

Isn't he just adorable?! Love this lil man!
You are AMAZING- remember that!

Ok, so there's no pets BUT,
this entire page is created from the striking Kaisercraft: Mister Fox collection.
(A fox is a four-legged friend, yes?)
Oh, and there's also bull dog clips too! ;)
A bit of a sneaky take on the challenge, but what a great page!
If you haven't seen the Mister Fox collection you're missing out!
It's one of my absolute go-to's for boy pages! Love it!
Let's have a closer look....

How striking is that Kaisercraft washi tape?!!
& love those collectables!

I love all that distressing and paint splatter too!
So cute!

Thanks for taking a peak at my very *sneaky* take on this challenge.
I'd love to see how you interpret this challenge, so please give it a go!

My Kaisercraft Design Team Projects for August

Hi Happy Arty Days Fans!
Thanks for stopping by to take a lil look-see at my Kaisercraft Design Team Projects for August.
There are some truly incredible collections for this month & I'm sure you'll want to get your crafty fingers on them all!!!
First up, a really modern & happy Christmas collection:
Mistletoe

Here's my layout, JOY....
Isn't this the loveliest?!!
So much Kaiser goodness on this page!
Really loving the Collectables and Printed Tape!
(oh and those blooms, and the Wooden Flourish and the so cute stamps....)
This is such a fun Christmas collection!

And of course, we can't have a Christmas collection without Christmas cards.
Here are 3 that I created......

Ultra modern and contemporary! Love it!
Here's another cutie...
Again - how good are those Collectables and Printed Tape?
One last one.... (well, for today anyway! LOL!)
Such a gorgeous Christmas collection!
Mistletoe is perfect for all us lighthearted, vibrant & modern Christmas creators!
(I will be creating lots of extra Christmassy goodies with this paper)

The second new collection for August, is the masculine and camping inspired,
Outdoor Trail
For those of you who don't know me to well - I don't camp, I glamp!
So on that note, you'd think I might struggle creating with this collection?
Of course not!
Kaisercraft continue to wow me with how cleverly versatile they design their collections.

Let's take a peak at my super cute layout, Explore

Just divine, huh?
Here's a closer view.........
Definitely a must-have collection (don't be put off by that 'camping' theme!)
Outdoor Trail ended up being a true favourite of mine!
Here's a gentleman's pocket mini album I created with it too......
Isn't this clever lil mini?!!
Let's take it out of the pocket for a peak.....
Just like a card wallet (so very masculine! lol!)
And an easy concertina style album when opened.
So cool!

The final collection for August is by far the most fantastic collection of all time!!!
Yes, I said it, ALL TIME!!!
I am talking about the fabulous,
Mix & Match
This collection should be a permanent collection available all year round - it's that good!!!
Let me show you a few of my creations.

Here's my layout, Love, Love, My Girl..............
Told you it was amazing!
How magnificent is the artsy, kraft/black/red/white combo?
Let's look closer.....
Just divine!
Super versatile and spectacular for any occasion!
Here's my cute 'love' card,
Again, how magnificent is this paper collection?!!
And just to keep with how versatile it is,
a lil Off-the-Page number too.........
My only disappointment with this collection is that I only had a few days to create with it!
But I am absolutely in total papercraft lurve with Mix & Match!
Keep an eye out for more of this collection in my future projects ;)

Well, there you have it!

Tuesday Tip: Kaisercraft

Hi everyone!
Thanks for taking time out of your day to see what I've been creating!
On Tuesday, it was my turn on the Kaisercraft Blog to reveal a Tuesday Tip.
I came up with this cute idea.......

Make it a mini in minutes!
Isn't this mini the cutest?!!!
& it's made from only 3, yes 3, main items....
I love Captured Moments Journal Cards & Printed Tapes!!!
They are so truly versatile & come in so many fabulous designs!
My album uses the new Peppermint Swirl collection,
it's divine!
Here's a very quick peak at the inside......

Amazing how Journal Cards & Printed Tape can make an album in minutes!
Okay, that's all I'm going to share with you here -
but if you'd like to read my Tuesday Tip on how to 'Make it a Mini in Minutes'

Here they are.......

Aren't they soooooo pretty?!!
They are all created with

Scrap & Play: Challenge #7

Hi everyone!
Thanks for stopping by for a peak at my take on Challenge #7 over at
Scrap & Play!
Here's what this challenge looks like....

What an inspiring mood board!!!
For me, it's all about Summer and those washy watercolours -
so here's what my layout looks like............

Love this photo sooooo much!
Nothing says sibling love more than the protective handhold!
I think I used a similar photo on my last challenge but they're all just so lovely and really capture the beautiful relationship that these two share!
Oh, and isn't this the best background paper ever?!
It's Basic Grey: Soleil Collection
& just perfect for this Summer inspired page!
& Explore  title
- again, so perfect for this page!
Let's take a closer look......

Isn't that shell cluster just divine?!

Also featured in the cluster are Prima mini roses and the 'seaweed' is dried florists moss.
You'll also notice a few upcycled items on this page too.
The tag is from a clothing label, the photo matte is from the prima packaging
& the fabric is actually from a (new/unused) cleansing puff
(that is now cut into shreds but saved me a trip to the sewing store)
I love using things from around the house, and outdoors, as part of my creations!
Here's a closer peak at that top embellishment cluster......

That felt doily is from Paper Fields & is just too cute!!!
The paper strips are just scraps I had left over from this collection, but work wonderfully!

Well, there you have it!
Another fun and exciting challenge for you to have-a-go at!
If you haven't already, please join us at Scrap & Play!
There's so much scrappy fun to be had!

Happy Arty Days,
