Now, time to share some inspiration of my own with you!

First up, I want to shine the product spotlight on something more decorative than crafty & it's totally winning my heart; the new Choose Happiness Decal Set!

Oh hello, 2021! I'm ready for you!
What a terrific way to personalize your planner & phone!

So pretty, and these sentiments really resonate with me!
And the best part?
The Choose Happiness Decal Set is completely resealable!
You can pull these stickers off, and re-use them again and again! Love it!

My second share for today is a super pretty mixed media page,

"Always Beautiful Moments"

Oh how beautiful, indeed!

You can see why it's called the Enchanted Roses Stamp Set! Such a magical stamp! Let's take a closer look...

Swoon! SO pretty!
It's a lovely stamp for cardmaking, but it's amazing for scrapbooking too!
I inked mine in Permanent Black Crisp Ink and then messily painted and splattered my enchanting roses with blues & purples from the Watercolors 36 Pan Set.

Those roses are so beautifully detailed!

I completed my layout with papers, washi tape and chipboard alphas from the Enjoy The Ride Scrapbook Collection, and scattered a few of the Shades of Purple Enamel Dots. Simple. Beautiful. Enchanting!

My last project for today is this light, fresh and contemporary scrapbook page,

"Loved"

Oh so pretty!!!

It may be called the Vintage Garden Stamp but don't let the name fool you! It's suitable for both classic and elegant projects, as well as fresh & contemporary ones like mine!

Such a pretty & versatile stamp set! I hand colored my vintage blooms with some gel pens from my stash, and I just love the result! To save my fingers from laborious fussy cutting, I used the coordinating Die Set to do all the hard work for me - bliss!

I also stamped falling leaves directly onto my Enjoy The Ride Scrapbook Collection paper base, and that beautiful sentiment too!

Simply Stunning!!!

I hope my projects have inspired you!

Hip Kit Club: Cut File & Color Kit Inspiration Plus Process Video!

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more Hip Kit Club awesomeness!
I can't begin to tell you how awesome the January 2020 Hip Kit Club Cut Files are!
 I mean, seriously, SO good!
If you know me, I can't go past florals, so I'm featuring the floral wreath cut file in my scrapbook layout today.  As I type this though, my January 2020 Hip Kits are still in transit, so.....
for today's post I'm sharing how I have 'stretched' my December 2019 Hip Kits to make one more detailed, and very pretty page!
I've even included a process video at the end of this post, so you can see exactly what I'm meaning ;) But first, here's my lovely take on the floral wreath cut file.....

"Cherished Pretty Girl"

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Jan29th-Blog-01

Wa wa wow!!!
As well as being all about the florals, I'm also huge on creating very pretty things - especially when it comes to my darling girl! Isn't she the sweetest?!
For this page, you'll spy lots of floral clusters and foliage but I had used a ton of my supplies in my recent HKC mini album (watch here if you missed it), so I had to get a little creative with my 'left over' items to form all those pretty details!
See if you can spy the snowflakes and stars forming my florals....

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Jan29th-Blog-02

Gah! It's just so gor-jus!!!!
To create this page, I started by painting up a few scrap pieces of white cardstock with the Lindy's Gang Magicals: Martina's Marigold & Andrea's Azalea (from December 2019 Color Kit).  I then used these pieces of paper to back the cut file leaves and blooms, as well as cut a few more of my own flower shapes and leaves with.
Next, I painted the wreath 'rings' with the Lindy's Gang: Magicals in Jana's Jade - so pretty!

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Jan29th-Blog-03

I embellished the wreath with a mix of floral clusters which are created from fussy cut stars and snowflakes from the Crate Paper Snowflake Joyous Specialty Foil Accented Paper (exclusive to the December 2019 Paper Kit), So Frosty Decorative Vellum Star Die Cuts, So Frosty Mixed Ephemera, So Frosty Winter Florals and Die Cut Tags, and fussy cut shapes created from the Color Kit Magicals! To complete the look, I added the Prima Adhesive Gems to the centers of these stacked flowers - perfect!
Don't they look fantastic?!
A really simple but effective way to use up your 'scraps' to create more embellishments.

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Jan29th-Blog-05

I separated a few of the wreath, tree and branch pieces from the Crate Paper Copper Foil Phrase & Icon Thickersto create the appearance of more foliage around the wreath. I also added in a few fussy cut leaves which I snipped out from the So Frosty Decorative Vellum Star Die Cuts, as well as the previously painted Lindy's Gang Magicals papers. I combined these with my leafy So Frosty Winter Floral die cuts to build up the wreath and create lots of shape, interest and form.

I tucked my So Frosty framed photograph into the florals on the left hand side, and continued to embellish away! The tiny, floral, So Frosty Flair Button from the December 2019 Embellishment Kitwas the perfect adornment to my baby girl's framed photo - I just love this small, but oh so pretty detail!
HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Jan29th-Blog-06

With a shortage of letters in my Thickers supplies, I opted a mixed font title with alphas from both the December Main & Embellishment Kits. Again, a great way to combine and mix your kits to stretch them that lil bit further! For a polished and finished look, I added some soft splatters and droplets of Jana's Jade Magicals around the wreath, and a few more of the Prima Gems. Beautiful!

Wanna see more? Please watch my process video HERE

Thanks so much for watching!
I hope you enjoyed seeing how my layout with the January 2020 Hip Kit Club Cut Files & December 2019 Color Kit came together, and that I have inspired you to get creating today!

Elle's Studio: January Reveal & Inspiration!

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more Elle's Studio inspiration!
Can you believe it's January and a new year, already?! Time really flies!

I am super excited to be sharing more Elle's Studio awesomeness with you & the January Kit and Add on items are going to have you swooning!
As always, I have a couple of projects to inspire you with - but first, let's take a look at the Elle's Studio January Kit & new releases!

January Exclusive Kit

Yesss!!! Just look at those fabulous prints & colors! LOVING!
But wait, there's soooooooo much more to love....

January New Releases & Add On items....
Oh.my.heart!!!
I'm drooling over this month's releases! Just check out the Love Is 6 x 8.5" Paper Stack and that amazing Love You Lots Stamp!!! Leatherette, and Puffy Stickers?!! Plus so much more!

Oh!!! All the pretty things!!! So much awesome product to get creating with!

Need a lil inspiration?
Here's what I've created with these products so far....

"XO"

Oh what a soft and sweet page to document my two darlings with!

Other Supplies: Bazzill Basics Avalanche Cardstock, Machine Stitching, Sequins, Cyan Hybrid Ink.

So soft & pretty!

The colors in the January Kit & new release items had me instantly swooning! I just adore the pretty mix of peach and green with black, white & gray - simply stunning!
I love using hearts on my pages, so naturally I had to feature a few of them on my page. You'll spot that I stamped some hearts with the Love You Lots Stamp in cyan ink. I followed this with lots of layered Puffy Sticker, Leatherette Sticker & Die Cut hearts too! Inspired by the large veneer 'X' from the XO Wood Veneer, I decided to machine stitch through my array of hearts in an 'x' design.

I backed my darling photo with the woodgrain pattern paper, and a  3 x 4" note card, and then layered this stack through the center of my design.

I was smitten by the exclusive January Kit note card that read, " Love Is All The Moments You Share & The Memories You Make Together" & as such, decided to fussy cut this sentiment out and arrange it through my vertical design. So cool!

The use of the Wood Veneer XO was not only perfect for my title, but also added some warmth and balance to my design.

For finishing touches, I added a few of the I Adore You Stickers and a sprinkling of sequins!
Gorgeous!

My second layout is a sweet and romantic 8.5 x 11" page of me and my one true love....

"XOXO"

Nawww! So super sweet and adorable!

Other Supplies: Bazzill Basics Avalanche Cardstock.

I couldn't resist a lil pretty in pink, and all the hearts for my sweetheart's page!
The Love Is 6 x 8.5" Paper Stack is my new favorite!
I loved that the black and white foliage pattern paper design is repeated in pink on one of the 4 x 6" note cards in the January Kit. I snipped it up to create the illusion of an extra pattern paper. I layered it beneath it's black and white counterpart, as well as used it to trim the very base of my layout. Such a great way to use the note cards if you're not a pocket page memory keeper!  I also used the note cards from the January Kit to back my photo with.

How fabulous is the You Are Loved Die Cuts banner XOXO title?! Love it!
I'm also loving these Die Cuts layered together....

Yep, those layered hearts are errrything!

And I must mention those amazing tiny Wood Veneer Sweethearts! Aren't they just the perfect adornment to any Valentine's inspired project? Gorgeous!

So many lovelies in this release!

Be sure to stop by again on the 15th, as I'm shining the Product Spotlight on the wonderful
Love You Lots Stamp!
Yay!!!

'Til then,
Thanks so much for visiting,

Elle's Studio: More January Kit Inspiration!

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back for more Elle's Studio inspiration!
I just can't stop creating with the gorgeous January Kit & new releases!
I know I say it every month, but honestly, this month's products are just incredible!
The proof is that this is my 5th scrapbook layout that I've created with these supplies!
 Yes, 5th! It's that good!
And before you ask, you bet I used the Happy Heart Stamp!
I've stamped all.the.things this month! I la la LOVE this stamp!

I created a lot of loved up Valentine's inspired projects, but today I want to demonstrate the versatility of these awesome products!
So enough of the chatter, here's my latest layout to inspire you with.....

"#Besties 4 Eva"

Wow! Isn't this fun! Besties forever, indeed!

Other Supplies: White Bazzill cardstock, machine stitching, staples, Umbrella Crafts Premium Dye Ink in Sunshine Yellow & Black.

For this layout, I was totally inspired by my sweet photograph of my daughter & niece. The great mix of  colors and designs in the January kit allowed me to draw on the near black of my niece's hair, the gray of my daughter's tee, & that golden butterflies filter! The movement of the butterflies in the photo also influenced the flow and movement of my design.
Let's take a closer look.....

I started this layout with the fabulous yellow striped pattern paper from the Noteworthy collection. I layered a sheet of torn white cardstock over it, inserted a couple of 3 x 4 cards into the layer, and stitched & stapled it all into place.

I featured the dominant yellow stripes on the left, to encourage your eye to move across my layout, left to right. The Happy Heart stamped yellow base adds to the directional flow, and further guides you across my page. I selected all the yellow acetate hearts & stars from the Heart & Star Acetate Die Cuts pack and aligned them with the stamped base also.

To complete the base, I embellished with lots of stickers, die cuts and veneers! I love the layered Wood Veneers Hearts over the acetate hearts - so cool! I also loved the confetti style look of the stamp, so I tried to arrange my embellishments in a similar fashion. For a more interesting & striking effect, I added a few black icon stamps as well. The pops of black balance the bright yellow perfectly!

For my photo cluster, I layered more of the 3 x 4 journal cards from the January Kit, and then tucked in a few labels, stickers and even one of the acetate hearts. I embellished my photo with a Sweetheart Puffy Sticker & that divine Wood Veneer Heart!

For finishing touches, I included a few sentiment die cuts and the Happiness Found Stickers. Last but by no means least, I added my mixed alphas title!
I used the extremely versatile and everyday essential, black Jane Alphabet Stickers for the #Besties part. Love these stickers!
And for the remaining title, I used the super cute Black & White Polka Dot Alphabet Puffy Stickers. Perfect!

The January Kit is jam packed with all kinds of awesomeness!
I hope my layout has shown you it's versatility for creating, & inspired you to take some inspiration from your photographs too!

Thanks so much for joining me today!
