Isn't this fun?!!

I was totally inspired by a recent layout by the talented Devra Hunt (aka @thebeachygal) , and this is my take on her clever design, as well as including the items on the list!

You'll spy that my 3 photos are all mounted on my  3" squares - love how this looks!

The collection is Photo Play Paper's, Freestyle and it's just perfect for scrapping the boys with!

The element stickers are my favourites - so versatile and perfect for 'dressing up' your layouts!

That spotty dots paper just screams FUN!!!

Paper Issues: July Free File Friday #1

Hi Creative Friends!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues awesomeness with Round 1 of....

For this round, we are asking you to create a layout using any of the Free STAR Cut Files in the Paper Issues store! 

Yay, how fun!

Here's what I came up with.....

"Adventurer"

How awesome is this?!!! Such a cool lil adventurer, indeed!

I have used Photo Play Paper's Freestyle collection and teamed it up with the Geo Star cut file.

It looks like this....

And it's totally FREE!!! Yayyyyy!

Love how super cool this boy line is!

That woodgrain paper is just incredible!!!

The element stickers are spot on too! Totally awesome!

I should add that the fabulous flair is actually from the June Swag Bag, 

& the veneer stars are Studio Calico.

Photo Play: Autumn Days

Hi Creatives!

Boy oh boy have I been having some Autumn Days fun!

I was a tad excited when the lovely Kylie Powell  from

Shop & Crop Scrapbooking

 sent me a few items from the 

Autumn Day Collection from Photo Play Paper Designs

YAY! Lucky, lucky me!

Think crisp, cooler days, and a gorgeous, warm colour palette - DIVINE!

I had some of the cutest Fall photos of my Mr A for Awesome to create with too!

Here's my first layout, 

"AUTUMN LEAVES"

Love it! That patterned paper is just perfection for memory keeping at this pretty time of year! 

How cool is that Multi Leaf pattern paper?! & those stickers are just the cutest!

Here's a closer view....

Such a cutie patootie!!!

I've snipped a few words to create the subtitle & stapled them to add interest. Cool!

I mounted my stickers on circular wooden shapes to give them a lil more dimension too!

And how striking are the coordinating alphas?!

Yup. Love it! Simple, understated but very much FALLing for Photo Play Autumn Day ;)

Here's the second layout I created....

"fall"

A little bit contemporary, but again, a fun, playful layout that really lets that fabulous pattern paper shine! 

Here's a couple close-ups....

Oh I do love those stickers! Perfect for layering to create interest!

And again, those alpha stickers complete the look!

Very cool!
