Pebbles: Land That I Love 15 Minute Make!

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for a little Pebbles inspiration!
Today I am sharing a super quick but oh so stunning, scrapbook layout with the gorgeous
Land That I Love collection!
I was so excited when I read this week's theme for the blog - 15 minute craft ideas!
I set my timer and challenged myself with this one! Here's what I created....

"Happy"

Oh isn't this gorgeous?!!
I know, how did I make this in 15 minutes? Let me tell you......

Start by fussy cutting approximately one third of pattern paper, PATRIOTIC BLOSSOMS. I'm not going to lie, this took me a solid 7 minutes, but the rest of the layout is so quick it can still be created in the 15 minute time frame. If you're a slower fussy cutter you may want to prepare your cut blossoms a day before ;)

While your trusty scissors are handy, trim the reverse side of pattern paper HAPPY 4TH! The size is 2" x 12" and be sure to include the red gingham pattern strip at the base of the paper.

Attach the 2" trim to the left hand side of a 12" x 12" white cardstock base. Glue a 12" length of delicate white lace over the paper join - as shown above.  While it's adhering, prepare your photograph!

Back your photo with a PRINTED CARDSTOCK SHAPES blossom & a lace doily. This doily will act as a circular guide for the fussy cut wreath. Line up your photo with the center of the trim and stick down with foam dots.

Arrange fussy cut blossoms in the wreath design, leaving two 'breaks' in the wreath. When happy, glue into place.

Fill those wreath 'breaks' with PRINTED CARDSTOCK SHAPES and 6 x 12 ACCENT STICKERS birds.

Embellish the blossoms wreath with PUFFY STICKERS: RED, WHITE & BLUE DOTS.....

Apply 6 x 12 blossom ACCENT STICKERS to the top and bottom right hand corners of the layout. Add a Thickers  title (happy) and for finishing touches, add tiny silver Thickers stars to the wreath.

Sigh! SO preeeeeeetty!
Here's a few close ups for you.....

The lace really adds a soft touch to this crisp color scheme!

Those silver America Thickers are just fabulous! SO cool!

And there you have it!
Simple, sweet and in my album in just 15 minutes! Yessss!
Memory keeping doesn't need to take you hours.
I urge you to give this super quick layout design a try!

Thanks so much for visiting today,
til next time,

Pebbles: Land That I Love Planner Pages

Hi Pebbles Friends & Fans!

Today I am sharing one of the most loved Holidays in the planner girls' calendar - the 4th of July!
"Oh say, can you see...."
I'm singing as I type this post, and feeling all the Land of the Free feels right now!
This is such a wonderful holiday to celebrate, and I just love the Red, White & Blue adorning the pages of my weekly view planner!
Forget functionality, this week is all about showing your stripes -  and plenty of them!
Here's how I've prepared my pages for this special occasion....

God Bless America!
As I'm quite the planner addict, you'll spot that this is yet another new planner in my stash! (Sssh! Don't tell Mr Baldwin - he doesn't need to know ;)  ) You'll note that this a much larger size and more 'boxed' style of planner (it's a MAMBI Happy Planner) compared to my previous planner & traveler's notebooks shares. The great thing is that regardless of planner size or type, you can take the ideas from this post and edit them to best suit your  daily organizer needs. Yay!
Here's how I created this patriotic spread....
First you'll need to gather up your Pebbles: Land That I Love supplies. As well as embellishments, you'll also need pattern papers Stars & Stripes Forever, Happy 4th! and Land That I Love.

I just LOVE those Puffy Stickers! Oh My Stars, indeed!

I start with creating the full size decorator boxes. For this specific project, that means trimming pattern paper Stars & Stripes Forever to size 1 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" long. One 2 1/2" x 12"strip will create exactly 8 boxes, with the choice of two patterns - stars and stripes OR blue with white stripes. Adhere to your pages as shown above.

Next, take pattern paper Happy 4th! and trim all the 'strips' to create faux washi tape.

Trim to size, and adhere with glue. This is already starting to look good!

Trim a 3" x 4" card from pattern paper Land That I Love, and create a 'flap' or two for hidden planning! I use a Printed Cardstock Shape flag as my second flap. I tape them into place with some red tape from my stash.

Decorate with a few Puffy Stickers! You'll see that I have cleverly positioned my puffy star stickers to double up as 'dot points' in my planner! Much more fun than asterisks or bullet points!

I add more Puffy Stickers, and embellish with the 6 x 12 Accent stickers too! You can never have too many stickers!

Next I create a few planner clips for the top of my page. To make, simply hot glue some of the Printed Cardstock Shapes to metal paperclips. For finishing touches, I tie a patriotic ribbon to the base of my planner to act as my page  marker. Love it!

Here's a closer look.....

I love the 'flaps' - such a fun way to decorate without losing all your pen space!

The Red, White & Blue speaks for itself!

I hope you're as excited as I am for the Fourth of July celebrations! I can't wait to see what your planners, organizers and notebooks will look like this week!
Thanks so much for stopping by today,
til next time,

Pebbles Land That I Love Supplies:

Pebbles: Pocket Letter FUN!

Hi Friends!

It's time for a lil more Pebbles love!
Today I am sharing a little Summer Boredom Solver activity;
Creating Pocket Letters!
Pocket letters come in many shapes and forms, and are tons of fun to make!
I thought children who suffer Summer Break boredom in the USA could get ahead with their 4th July crafts, and make a start on their classmate gifts!
Here's what I came up with.......

Oh so much fun!
And depending on the recipients, you could also add your favorite candy, party whistles, sparklers - the possibilities are endless! Fill them with letters & note cards, and encourage children to celebrate old fashioned snail mail!
What a fun package to receive!
Here's how to create them....

Start with your favorite supplies from the Land That I Love collection.
You'll need at least two sheets of pattern paper, as well as some Printed Cardstock Shapes (ephemera), and stickers.
I chose papers, Oh! The Places We Go! & United We Stand for my samples.

To create the pockets, start by trimming the pocket bases  7" long x 4"wide.
You'll get three bases from one sheet of paper.
Next, trim the pocket fronts 4" x 4" square.

Position the fronts on top of the bases, and machine stitch into place.
Remove excess threads, and embellish the pocket fronts with Printed Cardstock Shapes.

I used Adhesive Foam Dots to make my shapes really 'pop' on the pocket covers. Super cute pockets made in a minute. And because they're so easy to make, your bored children should be able to create one for every classmate in less than an hour! Yay!

Making pockets is quick & easy, but filling them is by far the best part!
Here's a few ideas on what you could add to yours.....

These fun wands are a great addition! Use coordinating paper straws  (or wrap ribbon around plastic straws) for the wand handle. Hot glue Printed Cardstock Shapes or Dimensional Star Rosette Stickers & ribbon tassels to create the tops of the wand. Perfect for waving during the parade!

How about a note card, or sentiment?
I cut apart pattern paper Land That I Love & attached handwritten notes to the backs of these 3 x 4 cards using washi tape.

Stuff your pockets full of fun treats!
Candy, party whistles, pencils.....
I even cut apart my Puffy Stickers and 6 x 12 Cardstock Stickers and popped some of them in too!

Some seriously fun mail that I think your children will love creating!
Maybe you could surprise them with a special one that you've made for them too?! ;)
Everyone loves receiving happy mail!
Here's a few close ups for you.....

Oh gosh! Does snail mail get any cuter than this?!!
I love the inclusion of those fabulous Puffy Stickers!

Those fireworks!?!! Gor-jus!
I hot glued a tiny paper clip to the back of mine so they can be used in TNs & planners!

3 Cheers for the Red, White & Blue!!! Love this so much!

And there you have it!
A Summer Boredom Buster that's as fun to make as it is to receive!
I hope you and your children will enjoy creating these Pocket Letters!

Thanks so much for visiting!
