Happy Arty Days: New Releases

I also apply the Teal Shadow Washi Tape, and the Botanical Rhapsody Washi Tape to smooth white cardstock and then fussy cut out all the leaves and floral blooms. I love fussy cutting, and by using the washi tapes this way, you're able to create your own die cut ephemera. So clever & oh so pretty!

And speaking of fussy cutting, I spy a gorgeous floral wreath framing my sweet photo! It's been cut from the beautiful new Summer Garden 6 x 6 Paper Pack.

And I must make mention of the ahh-may-zing new Embossing Paste from Altenew!

I've used many pastes in my life, but none like this!

It was like applying a whipped mousse to my stencil - even smoother and lighter than butter!

And as for the result? Well, it speaks for itself!

Those butterflies are perfection!

I applied the Embossing Paste with a palette knife & the Flowing Butterfly Stencil. Love it!

Absolutely gorgeous!

Next up, is a more masculine approach to using these new products....

Oh boy, indeed! Such a cool kiddo!

This is SO awesome!

The Misty Meadows Washi Tape is really something -

it even has gold foiling throughout it's pattern!

To draw attention to that 'golden' highlight, I also trim it with the Gold Trim Washi Tape. So effective!

But it's that Embossing Paste that is really wowing me!

I used a liquid ink to hand color the paste on a mixing palette, and applied it with a palette knife. The stencil featured is called Leaf Burst and showcases that Embossing Paste beautifully!

That paste is so easy to apply and gives such a high end finish - I am SO impressed!

And last, but by no means least, is this pretty page....

It's no secret that I love a good floral wreath design, and this is no exception!

Just look at those fussy cut blooms!

Sigh! So very pretty!

I am loving the contrast between the sweet florals and the very contemporary Gold String Washi Tape! So striking!

It's hard to believe it's washi tape, isn't it?! SO good!

How sweet it that butterfly embellishment tucked beneath my darling photo?!

It's created from tinted Embossing Paste and the Flowing Butterfly Stencil - I simply fussy cut it out once dry. Cute!

And there you have it!

My favorite season, indeed!

How incredible is that stamped wreath?!!

I have repeat stamped the leaves from the Thankful Stamp set, in a variety of colors & fussy cut them out. I arranged them into the circular shape, glued onto my watercolor base and embellished with the Puffy Dots Stickers. So cool!

To enhance the wreath appearance, I add a baker's twine bow to the base of the wreath. I also fussy cut one of the 3" x 4" cards to use as my subtitle, My favorite season has arrived!

That stamping!!!

Perfect for all your Fall & Thanksgiving projects!

The Thankful Stamp is my favorite kit add-on this month - so good!

The Sweater Weather 6" x 6" Papers & Autumn Shipping Tags are perfect for layering beneath photos, and on my favorites list too!

What a fun page!!!

I just couldn't resist the super cute Home Sweet Home Wood Veneer, and repeat cutting it with it's coordinating Digital Cut File with the Sweater Weather 6 x 6 papers!

I anchor all the 'homes' to the stamped trim at the base of my layout (created with that Thankful Stamp - it's seriously awesome!)

Such an effective look!

That veneer is really something! I embellish the 'o' in home with those fabulous Puffy Dots! The paper cut homes are all backed with Sweater Weather papers, and a couple are embellished with Die Cuts from the October Kit.

The heart off-cuts from the Digital Cut File are all used to embellish the top of my layout. You'll also spy more stamping from - you guessed it - the Thankful Stamp! I just can't get enough of this stamp!!!

I also embellish with Puffy Dot Stickers, Noteworthy Epoxy Stickers and use the black Jane Alphabet Stickers for my title.

Heart of Our Home without a doubt!!! Love this so much!

Elle's Studio: June Kit & New Releases!

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back!

I absolutely LOVE reveal day at Elle's Studio & today's

June Kit and New Releases are all kinds of awesome!

Here's what the June Kit looks like....

Bright, bold and Summer-tastic! Loving it!

And the Add Ons are equally as desirable.....

Yessss! How awesome is it all!?!!

And as you'll spy on the clear stamp,

we've teamed up with Geralyn Sy from In A Creative Bubble for this month's kit! Yay!

Could it get any cooler for Summer?!

I couldn't wait to get creating with our new kit and embellishments!

I've created two layouts to share with you for today's reveal, here's the first one....

"Fun In The Sun Shine"

Wow!

Its no secret that I love playing with color, but the Summer brights in the new 6 x 6 Shine Paper Stack truly called to me! So gorgeous!

I mounted my sweet photograph onto the rainbow stripe 6 x 4 card from the kit, and then created the other layers with the Shine Paper Pack. I also embellished my photo with some of the Die Cuts.

I've also used a color block trim down the sides of my page, incorporating the 3 x 4 cards, Labels, Die Cuts, Let's Relax Stamp, and a few embellishments from our Noteworthy collection.

How fabulous are the Let's Relax Stamps?!!! LOVING them!

They are seriously Cool with a capital C!

Let's take a closer look at the rest of my page.....

Just look at that title!!!

I've combined the Fun In The Sun Hello Happy Puffy Words with that colorful Shine Acrylic, and I've trailed the Bright Hand Drawn Acrylic Hearts through the center of it all!

It's so impressive!

Loving the addition of the sun Die Cut and the fussy cut clouds! Super fun and playful!

Gor-jus!!!

For my second layout, I have gone for a cooler color scheme and created an 8.5 x 11 layout....

"Hello Summer"

OH! I love this!

I have been so inspired by our pocket page team members, that I couldn't resist giving it a go - AJ style!

I machine stitched that divine 6 x 4 mint chevron card onto my cardstock base, to create an instant pocket! I've filled it with stamped & journalled cards about this special moment and our Summer memories....

Love!

And how good is that Summer Vibes stamping?!

I said it before, and I'll say it again, the Let's Relax Stamp set is fabulous!

And speaking of fabulous, the Summer Wood Veneer Frames are just amazing!

The warmth of the veneer adds balance to this otherwise cool page.

I have positioned my Hello Summer frame onto the front of the pocket, to ensure it makes my photo the feature of my layout!

My subtitle (You Are Awesome) is created from the Hello Happy Puffy Words, and wraps itself around the pocket. I just adore the white on white look - so crisp!

I embellish with Labels, Die Cuts, and yes another of the Let's Relax Stamps!

You'll also spy Puffy and Epoxy Stickers from the Noteworthy collection.

Can't Get Enough Of This, indeed!

Wanna see my first creations with this fabulous kit?

Here's what I've created so far....

"5 Is The New Cool"

Oh.my.heart!!!

This kid melts me everytime! So Mr.Cool for sure!

I have used a simple grid design, and layered each quadrant with lots of the February Kit 3 x 4 cards.

Each one is embellished with a mix of either Die Cuts, Puffy Stickers, Veneers, & Cork Speech Bubbles and then stamped with the Icon Stamp set. SO awesome!

Here's a closer look for you.....

You'll spy that I add tissue paper & cotton thread from my stash, as well as sewing machine stitch the quadrant for just a touch of texture on my cool boy page! Adding a lil 'edge' so to speak!

The base paper is that incredible woodgrain pattern paper from the Live Laugh Love collection - you can get it in the store HERE

Not a fan of your own handwriting? Me either... lol!

So I just LOVE the Elle's Studio: Letter & Number Stickers

(they come in quite a few colours too!)

Here's one last close up for you....

Those layers are awesome, huh?! Loving this kit to pieces already!!!

And it suits more than just the boys.....

Here's my second layout,

"Kind"

Gasp! So girly and pretty!!!

This time I have used the warmer tones, and made a feature of the Kind Acrylic & those Puffy Heart Stickers!

The Elle's Studio Acrylics are always a firm favourite of mine & that title is no exception - SO good!

And those Cork Speech Bubbles are really something too!

I have used the Live Laugh Love 6 x 6 Paper Stack with this layout as it coordinates beautifully with the February Kit!

You stole my heart, indeed!

I think I may need a lifetime supply of those hearts (Shapes & Dots Puffy Stickers)

So much awesomeness this month!

As you can see, February is just the BEST!!!
