Paper Issues: August Free File Friday #1

Hi Happy Arty Days Fans!

This edition is all about those cut file titles! 

So many awesome files to pick up from the Paper Issues store for this challenge!

Here's what I came up with.....

"Explore"

Oooh! This is the prettiest!!!

I've stashbusted my left overs from Bella Blvd's Make Your Mark collection, and combined it with the fabulous new

 Explore Creekside Cut File

It looks like this.... 

And you can grab it for FREE here!

I've used the Explore as my cut file title for this challenge, and added a lil daubed yellow ink to it! I've also stitched it into place for added interest!

Let's be honest though, it's that bouquet that really makes this layout!

So very pretty!!! Love this delicate cut file!

Here's a better look at the title too....

So cool! 

I am LOVING this!!! 

The doubled up title beneath really adds interest too! 

And gold foil - love all the gold accents in the Make Your Mark line!

Paper Issues: July Sketchy Saturday

Hi Everyone! 

Welcome to a new month of super fun challenges over at Paper Issues!

First off the ranks, is one of my fave challenges

Let me tell you that this month's sketch is SO much fun!!! 

Here's what it looks like.....

Oh yeah! What an awesome design to play along with!

Here's my take on it.....

"Oh Sweet Girl"

Isn't this the sweetest?!! 

This one is for my daughter's album to remind her that is she sweet & kind, and to focus on finding the happy in each and every day. 

A great message for any pre teen / tween, right?

I have mirror flipped the sketch for my interpretation & used the gorgeous Make Your Mark collection from Bella Blvd. 

 I love all the gold foil accents! Just Stunning!

How fabulous are those puffy stickers?!! Super cute!

I LOVE the pretty blooms in this line, and just had to fussy cut them! Love how this looks! 

The gold foil alphas were a lil tricky to photograph - but you get the idea! 

Golden, gorgeous and such fun! 

The enamel stickers are also a new fave of mine! 

A really deluxe finishing touch to any project!

Love it!

Here's what I created....

"FUN"

La la love this photo of my sweet girl! So much fun indeed!

I used the gorgeous Bella Blvd: Make Your Mark collection for this layout 

& just adore how it turned out!

Pretty blues and yellow just sing happiness to me!

I love the gold foil accents in this line too! 

You'll spy a Cocoa Vanilla Studio gold doily popped in for good measure too ;)

How cool are the epoxy shapes!?!

Lots of pretty layers and mixed media fun going on here!

That blue is just perfection!

Paper Issues: May Free File Friday

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to our new look Cut File Challenge at Paper Issues,

This month, the challenge is to use one of the Paper Issues free cut files that features florals.
I decided to use the Floral Heart Cut File (pictured below):

Such a stunning design!!!

Here's what I created with it, 

"Gratitude"

Oh,Wow!!! Isn't this preeeeetty!?!! 

I cut the Floral Heart in plain white cardstock, 

and then paper pieced it with Bella Blvd's, Make Your Mark collection: 6 x 8 Paper Pad. 

Infact, 98% of this layout is Make Your Mark - it's just so bright and beautiful!!!

*The sequins and printed veneer are from my stash*

Such a beautiful photo of my not-so-little girl!!! 

She is growing up way too fast! So very proud of the person she is developing into!

That floral heart file was just perfect for her!

The Bella Die Cut Paper Pieces & coordinating Puffy Stickers are just the sweetest embellishments!

Loving the gold foil accents too! 

Super pretty blooms to enhance that floral heart! Love it all!!!

Paper Issues: May Notable Quotable

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues fun with this month's edition of

This month's quote is just too pretty for words....

Gorgeous, huh?!!

I was totally inspired by the blooms and that tiny heart! Here's what I came up with...

"Bloom" 

Isn't this the prettiest?!! 

I absolutely ADORE this floral pattern paper from Bella Blvd's, Make Your Mark collection! So gorgeous!!! It's called Magnifique - you can see why!

Perfect for this challenge, and my beautiful photograph! 

I fussy cut the pattern paper to form my diagonal design, and used coordinating die cuts to embellish my photo with. 

That golden title is from the Fundamentals Sticker Sheet in the same collection. Pardon the pun, but I think it's Blooming Marvellous! ;) LOL!

Here's a closer look...... 

SOooooooo pretty! Love those die cuts!!!

My photo has been matted with a blue sheet from the Make Your Mark 6 x 8 Paper Pad, as well as a doily from my stash. There's a light layer of watercolour media beneath it all too....

Just gorgeous!
