Paper Issues: April Working Title

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends & Fans!

Welcome back for more scrap happy fun with the April edition of

Paper Issues Working Title challenge!

You may not know, but this challenge is extra special to me because it's the challenge that I created & host!
I get so excited each month to see all the incredible entries!
SO much stunning inspiration! I do hope you'll join in with us this month!
For every new project you upload in our Facebook Friends & Fans Group challenge album, you get entered into the draw to win a Paper Issues Gift Card - so be sure to play along!!!

As we enter the season of Spring, I am reminded of all those budding blossoms and blooms!
I heart all the floral things!

So, for this month's challenge,
the title needs to feature florals!

Here's a few suggestions to get you started:

Decorate your thickers with flower ephemera
Use flower stickers to form the letters in your title
Cut your title from floral pattern paper
Stamp a chipboard title with flowers
Use paper blooms to form your words

Here's what I've created,

"Love"

All the floral love going on here!
I've used the stunning Cute Girl collection from Crate Paper for my layout today.
The title is one of our fabulous FREE cutfiles called Love Script Heart & I've used the tiny florals pattern paper Fancy to cut it out.
So pretty!
Here's a closer look......

Such a beautiful moment captured!
I've also fussy cut the Storybook paper, and used a few of the blooms to embellish my title too!

Love indeed!

Paper Issues: March Pinspire Me

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more fabulous Paper Issues fun with this month's edition of

Pinspire Me!

This month's board is going to make you green with envy.......

Wow! What a stunning board with so many possibilities!

I've been really trying to stashbust again - and one of the colours I seem to unintentionally avoid is green. So with that in mind, here's what I created....

"Love"

Oh isn't this the sweetest thing?!!
A gorgeous Dad n Daughter moment that was too lovely not to scrap!
I have stashbusted a few Crate Paper lines that I may have been hoarding...oooops!
You'll spy Wonder, Cute Girl & Maggie Holmes Shine too!
I think it turned out quite sweet - a pure reflection of my photo!

Here's a couple close ups for you....

You'll notice that I was also inspired by the stars reference too!

And how cute is this tag?!!!

Super sweet indeed!

And there you have it!
My take on this month's Pinspire Me challenge!

Paper Issues: January - New Issue - Round 1: Stashbusters!

Hi Creative Friends!

Time for Paper Issues first New Issue for 2017!
This edition is about Stashbusting!!!

Suggested ideas:
It's a new year, so make a dent in your stash!
What are you hoarding? Is it an old collection? Is there a paper you think is too pretty to cut into? Do you have embellishments you haven't even opened? Get to work creating a project that includes something you haven't used yet or finishes off a collection by using up the scraps.
Show us anything about your New Year's celebrations.
Scrap a photo of yourself.

And with those ideas in mind, here's my layout...

"Love"

And love her I do! What a beautiful young lady she's growing into! Such a sweet girl!

So.....
I finally caved and cut up those beautiful Crate paper Cute Girl papers!
I have been hoarding these for quite a while now... lol!
And how gorgeous are those papers and coordinating embellishments?!
Divine!
Here's a closer look.....

Lots of fussy cutting for this layout!
The yellow scallops are all cut from that happy paper, Cheery & all those sweet blooms are fussy cut from the patterned paper, Storybook.
 Love how it turned out!

You'll also spy some of the fabulous stickers and those Resin Hearts!!!
My favourites that I may have also been keeping for something special - ha!
So glad I used them!

I've included a lil mixed media element to my layout too - tempera paints, and a Kikki K roller stamp that I just had to buy, but only used once!
A really great effort to bust through my stash before all the New Year collections start turning up on my doorstep.....

I hope you liked my take on the New Issue as much as I do!
