It's no secret how much I heart all the rainbows, and that leads me to the March Add Ons....

Check  'em out.....

Needless to say, the March Kit plus Add Ons are my favourite EVER!!!
Love, love, LOVE!!!!

Here's what I've created with them so far.....

"Chasing Rainbows"

Eeeeep!!! Rainbow errrrrything!!!!
I just couldn't resist creating a page about my two darlings chasing rainbows at the beach - so good!
The largest rainbow is created from our Digital Cut Files, and backed with papers from our Live Laugh Love collection, and embellished with those super sweet Little Acrylic Hearts
The Rainbow Acrylic is layered onto the cut file rainbow, and also onto a hand cut cloud from the Family Fun 6 x 6 Paper Stack.
The final rainbow has been fussy cut from the 3 x 4 card in the March Kit  - SO good!!!
I also use the 3 x 4 cards to frame my photo...

Just divine!
But it's those rainbows that are making my heart swoon.....

Does it get any happier and prettier than this?!!
Loving the bold black Puffy Alphabet Sticker title - it really pops against all that colour!

Gah!!! Told you this kit was Aaaaaah-mazing!!!!

My second layout is a really soft and delicate newborn page.
Mainly as it's too early for me to document those Easter moments,
and bunnies are the perfect embellishments for baby pages!
So something a lil different....

"I Heart This"

Nawww!!!
Isn't this heart melting?!!
Just adore this photograph of my boy holding his baby cousin for the first time!
So precious!
I've used 12 x 12 pattern paper from the Family Fun collection  as my background paper, and then been inspired by the pretty purples, and teals in this month's kit.
Here's a few close ups for you....

Those bunnies!!! Oh they're the cutest ever!!!
To balance the cool color scheme, I also feature the Wood Veneer Bunnies in my layout.
Not only do they add warmth, but also add dimension and interest too!

And when it comes to embellishing,
what could be more effective than a sprinkling of our Enamel Dots
and those divine Little Acrylic Hearts?!!

I love the gentle blue tones beneath my photo - so soft and subtle!
You'll also spy that sweet purple hearts paper; it's from our XOXO 6 x 6  Paper Stack, and just compliments this layout perfectly!

And for finishing touches, the Big Moment Phrase Stickers  really add that special something!

Such a pretty look into my first creations with the sensational March Exclusive Kit & Add Ons!
I hope I have inspired you - I can't wait to share some more projects with you soon!

Paper Issues: March Scrap Soup

Hi Creatives!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues awesomeness with this month's edition of Scrap Soup!

This month's recipe challenge is super fun!
Simply feature the following ingredients (or more) to whip up your creation with .....

3 embellishments
6 hearts
2 patterned papers
chipboard title
stamping

*Feel free to add anything else you need but your project must include those items*

And here's my layout....

"Happy"

Oh isn't this just the sweetest, and most dreamy girl page!!!
It absolutely kills me that she is growing up so fast, but boy oh boy is she a delightful and happy young person!
So very proud of her!

I have used the Echo Park Fashionista collection, and as you can see, it's just perfect for documenting our teen girls (and shop-a-holics too!)
You'll also spot the Open Hearts Circles cut file

Such a fun design!
And, as always, the Paper Issues cut files are completely FREE!
You can get yours HERE

Now back to my layout.....

I  just adore this photo of our sweet Miss M!
It was a silly out take, but the expression on her face is so happy! Love it!
I layered her photo onto a few frames, pink tissue paper, and a doily.
I embellish this photo cluster with a few die cuts and enamel dots too.

I back the cut file hearts with a mix of pattern papers from the Fashionsita line, and embellish some with sentiments, die cuts and even tiny heart veneers.
I wanted to keep the layout fairly 'clean' so I kept my stamping quite minimal.
I repeat stamp the tiny XO in hot pink.
(The stamp is an old roller stamp in my stash, from Kikki K).
But it's that divine gold foil chipboard title that really adds that finishing touch to my page.....

Isn't that title WOW!!!
The foil is so good that you could be fooled into thinking that this chipboard is possibly a mirror acrylic. But no, it is honestly chipboard!!!
And it has been hoarded in my stash for sometime now! lol.
So glad I used it on this pretty, girly page! Perfect!

And there you have it!
My super pretty take on this month's Scrap Soup challenge!

Shimmerz Paints: Unicorn Love!

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back for more Shimmerz Paints inspiration and painty fun!
Do you LOVE all the unicorns?!!
Well, I sure do! And they're inspiring today's magical layout.....

"XO"

Magical indeed! So enchanting!!!
Just perfect for my little princess!
You'll spy so many beautiful Shimmerz pretties here!
Let me tell you more about how I created that magical unicorn.....

I start with a very light pencil outline of my unicorn design.
Once happy, I filled in the design with my favourite Shimmerz Paints products: Inklingz!
I am a devout fan of Inklingz!
The shimmer & high sheen that these paints offer is simply Aaaah-mazing!
I used Inklingz in:

Loving this color combination!!!

Next, I add the eye onto the unicorn in permanent black pen.
Then comes the fun part -
I paint the unicorn horn and mane with a good coat of Paste-eez Puttin' On The Glitz.
This Paste-eez colour is similar to a clear holographic glitter paint & adds so much 'magic' to my fantasy creature. Sparkly fun!!!

For finishing paint touches, I splatter Vibez: Razzeldazzle Berry & Sweet Heart around my unicorn.
A bit like throwing around confetti or scattering sequins.
While my paint dries, I cut out 3 butterflies from the Free Paper Issues Cut File: Cherish Florals, and back one of them with paper from the Shimelle Glitter Girl 6 x 6 paper pad.
I layer my darling photo onto the other 2 butterflies, and begin to build up my photo cluster.

I decorate the unicorn's horn and mane with die cut florals, the paper backed butterfly & that super sweet bow!
Here's a closer look for you....

SO gor-jus!!!
And just look at the shimmer and sheen on my uniorn! Divine!

Final embellishments include those incredible Glitter Girl sparkly unicorns, a tiny bow for my beautiful girl, sequins, hearts & those tiny glitter Thickers.

Oh-so-preeeeeeetty!!!!
Love this!

And I hope you did too!

Elle's Studio: February Cut Files Focus!

Hi Creative Friends!

Do you LOVE the awesome coordinating cut files in the Elle's Studio store as much as I do?!
I was so excited when I saw the February cuts - they're so much fun, and the creative possibilities are just endless!

Here's what our fabulous February Digital Cut Files look like.....

So awesome, huh?!!

Pardon my cheesy pun,
but the love heart speech bubbles really spoke to my heart, lol!
Here's what I came up with to inspire you.....

"Happy Heart"

Oh isn't this sweet?! All the hearts, indeed!
I am huge fan of repetition & pattern in design, so creating a variation of sizes in the same cuts was a great way to highlight our files!
To create more interest, I also used a solid white cardstock against that textural woodgrain pattern paper from our Family Fun collection. The white really pops!
I also foam mounted a couple of those heart speech bubbles for added dimension
For even more emphasis, I paper pieced the speech bubbles with solid colors from the 6 x 6 XOXO Paper Stack. This avoids your eye from being distracted by pattern papers, and maintains the focus on those files - which ultimately, directs you to my darling photograph!

To avoid being too 'stark', I embellish a few of the cuts with those fabulous Heart Of Gold Chipboard Stickers, as well as some Enamel Dots.

You'll also spy some of the January Hand Drawn Acrylic Hearts adorning my layout.

I use one of the smallest cuts to embellish my photo too! Awesome!!!

Such a terrific result from just one element within our monthly digital cut files set!
I can't wait to see what you'll create with them!

So good to get back to it & have some much needed scrappy time!
Today's lift is courtesy of the very talented Wendy Tipton and her layout looks like this....

Isn't this something?!! That banner, that stitching, SO much awesomeness!!!

And here's my take on it....

"So Cute"

Oh how super cute is this!?!!
Just adore these two! And I think this layout says it all!
I stuck fairly close to Wendy's original design, but gave it my own 'feel'.
Hope you like it!

I have used Crate Paper's Main Squeeze collection & I am just adoring that specialty paper,
Red Glitter Hearts - it's so pretty!
You'll also spy pattern papers Just Love, & SWAK as well as tons of super cute heart embellishments!

Here's a closer look for you....

Pebbles Night Night Baby Girl Layout!

Hi Creatives!

It's my turn on the Pebbles blog, & today I am sharing this dreamy baby layout using the sweet,
Night Night collection!
This time it's with the gorgeously girly and pink papers!
One for my daughter's baby album - so dreamy and divine!
I hope it has you thinking sugar and spice, and all things nice!

Oh.my.goodness! Could this be any sweeter?!
Such a beautiful baby collection!
Pebbles really make it easy to document our most treasure memories!
And speaking of simple, this layout is so easy to recreate - you'll whip this up in a matter of minutes! Here's how.....

I start with cutting out a hot air balloon and clouds cut file in white cardstock. There are LOTS of these designs available, but if you're wanting this exact file it's called, Sky's The Limit & you can get it HERE.
Take pattern papers SNUGGLE TIME, & TWINKLE TWINKLE, and use them to back the hot air balloon cut file, as shown. I also foam mount that super cute 'bear on a cloud' PRINTED CARDSTOCK SHAPE onto the balloon.

Next, attach the balloon & clouds to the white cardstock base. I layer my darling photograph onto a photo matte created from pattern paper TWINKLE TWINKLE, position onto the lower level cloud and then embellish with that sweet 'baby' cloud. While the foam dots are out, I also mount a PRINTED CARDSTOCK SHAPE banner onto the balloon basket.

Next, I attach a  6 x 12 ACCENT STICKER hot air balloon, as well as a PRINTED CARDSTOCK SHAPE to the top left hand side of my photograph.

I continue to 'build up' my scene with PUFFY STICKERS, REPEAT STICKERS & those tiny hearts from the GOLDIE THICKERS. That bear on a cloud is my favourite!
 Here's a closer look.....

Cuteness overload!
To make my clouds a bit easier to see on the white base, I give them a light pencil outline. You'll also spy tiny details like the little bow and banner trim from the REPEAT STICKERS - it's all about the details!
Next, I added that sweet GOLDIE  THICKERS title, Baby Girl! SO divine!!!

The solid gold THICKERS are perfection!
I am pretty sure I'll be needing another pack of these soon!
And for finishing touches, I take the reverse side of the barcode strip on pattern paper SNUGGLE TIME and tape it to the base of my page. I also cut a one inch wide strip of this paper and give it the scallop punch treatment. I tape this detailed strip to the top of my layout.
Such a simple, but oh so effective way to 'complete the look'.

And there you have it! A beautiful baby girl layout that's perfect for you to create at home!

Paper Issues: March Old School Challenge

Hi Creatives!

Welcome back for a new month of Paper Issues awesomeness & super fun challenges!
Today I am sharing my take on the new challenge....

This challenge is so fun & easy to play along with! Simply use B&W photo in your project!
I LOVE using black and white photos - a lot!
Here's what I created for this challenge.....

"Cherish"

Oh isn't this pretty!!!
I love the combination of white, peach & cork! Just gorgeous!
I have used the stunning new Crate Paper Good Vibes collection for this layout, as well as the
The cut file looks like this......

So awesome, huh?
You can download it for FREE (no purchase necessary) HERE
There are sooooo many amazing free files in the store - be sure to grab 'em all!
But back to my layout....

*sigh* It's just so pretty!
I've used that gorgeous cork pattern paper Magic as my base, then layered it with white cardstock. The cardstock is given a light treatment with Shimmerz Paints: Paste-eez in Peach Fuzz  for a gentle mixed media touch!
The pretty peach paper is from the reverse side of pattern paper, Life Goals, and forms the perfect base for my cut file title, Cherish.
Here's a closer look for you.....

That cut file is perfecion!
The tiny butterflies are from an old Martha Stewart punch in my stash, as are the sequins and rhinestones.
How awesome is that gold glitter, pom pom frame?!!! SO stunning!

And speaking of stunning,
how beautiful is this black & white photo of my daughter and niece?
Just gorgeous!!!
I've layered that sweet framed photo onto a few Die Cut Ephemera pieces, and then onto that intricate doily from Studio Calico.
I then sneak a few stickers, and even that butterfly cut file, into the photo layers. Love it!

A foam mounted ticket forms the subtitle to the layout,
& I add that divine Charm to the base of the photo frame for finishing touches!
Such a pretty take on the Old School challenge!

I hope I have inspired you to play along!
