Paper Issues: September Notable Quotable

Hi Lovelies!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues fun with the September edition of 

Always such a fun challenge, & this month's quote is really sweet! 

We LOVE books in our home, so this quote is perfect inspiration for my memory keeping albums!

Here's what I have created, 

"Good Book"

Isn't this fun?!!

I have used the Pink Paislee, Paige Taylor Evan's Oh My Heart collection, as I had that cute book paper still in my stash just waiting to be used! As you can see, I fussy cut all the books, and have created a double circle design with them. 

I repeat stitched the books into place, and layered the inner circle with my photo cluster. 

And seriously, how cute is my Mister A for awesome? 

He had been playing a little too quiet, 

so I snuck up on him expecting to find trouble - only to discover that he was sitting on our bed reading Charlie & Lola books! 

So adorable that I had to snap the moment!

Here's a few close ups for you.....

The chipboard stickers in this line are super sweet, and I just had to embellish my layout with them. Loving those reading glasses especially!

And how about that sentiment sticker, all you need is a good book! Perfection!

So awesome!

I should add that the cute puffy hearts, 

and that mini bow on the fox tail 

are from Amy Tangerine's Hustle & Heart colleciton 

So super cute!!!

I have used the gorgeous Maggie Holmes Carousel line, and that super cute photo of my two on the carousel. Love it! 

So many gorgeous papers and embellishments in this line!

It's all about the stickers!!! 

Chipboard, 6 x 12, Puffy and my new favourites Enamel Pin Stickers!

The enamel pins are a really awesome addition to the Crate Paper lines, and I am LOVING them! That yellow heart is just adorable!

Oh, isn't this preeeeeeetty!

The beach is hands down, without a doubt,

 our all time favourite Summer activity!

And isn't she the sweetest with her beach hair?!!

I LOVE how this page turned out!

I have used Pink Paislee's Summer Lights collection, as well as watercolour paints for my background.

are just the perfect adornment to my daughter's sweet pic!

Paper Issues: August Pawsitively Pets!

Hi Creatives!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues awesomeness with this month's edition of 

This month is all about those pet (animal) adventures! 

Think road trips, walks, visits to the vet, special treats - anything is game!

Here's what I came up with.....

"Sweet Treats"

Isn't this adorable?! 

I'm not sure who had the better 'sweet treat' here - 

My daughter getting to feed the Lemurs, 

or,

the Lemurs getting sweet dried fruit treats?!

Either way it was a fabulous moment that had to be scrapped! 

A real animal adventure for sure!

I have used the gorgeous new Crate Paper - Maggie Holmes Carousel collection for this layout. 

The whimsical carnival theme in this line worked beautifully with my 'Sweet Treats" title.

Super sweet indeed! 

And those gold accents are just somethin'!

I totally adore the vintage ice cream stand ephemera - isn't it the cutest?!!

And I must mention the new enamel pin stickers! 

I mean, that bow is just incredible!!!

Time for one of my absolute favourite challenges at Paper Issues, 

Ok, so I may be a lil biased - 

but my challenge truly is a good one to play along with!

Before we get started, I just want to say,

Omgoodness! You creatives are knocking these titles outta the park!

I am so amazed by all the awesome entries for this challenge last month!

This month's Working Title is super fun, and easy to play;

Create a multi word title that includes the word 'Summer' too!

Ideas: Here Comes Summer, Summer Lovin', Summer Vacay, Best Summer Ever, I Heart Summer! Summer Paradise, Feels Like Summer - you get the picture ;)

Summer never looked so pretty! 

I have used the gorgeous Pink Paislee Summer Lights collection, and have created my title with the Feels Like Summer cut file

 I used orange, yellow, turquoise, die cut, patterned paper (fussy cut) cardstock, sticker, title, ink and Summer theme - LOL! I may have taken 10, but that's how easy it is to play along ;)

Gasp! This is my new favourite layout! 

So many gorgeous elements - sunset watercolours, fussy cut clouds, & a wreath cut file! 

LOVE it!

Love these two! Aren't they the cutest?! 

This was such a happy Summer's day that I wanted to capture the 'magic' feeling in my layout.

The sunset colours, rainbows, stars & clouds really add that magical touch!

The fussy cut clouds are from patterned paper #5 (Clouds)  and they are the coolest! They have a neon outline to them and really 'pop'!

Those clouds are just divine!

The Dream is Real describes this memory perfectly!

Such a pretty page!

I have foam mounted my center panel, as well as my colour photograph, to add dimension and interest to my layout. 

Bright colours, contemporary designs, Summer vibes and neon highlights - SO cool!

You'll spy a few fussy cut pieces, as well as ephemera, chipboard & 6 x 12 stickers. 

Isn't it all so pretty?!!

Love all the neon & holographic foil pieces in this line.....

Paper Issues: August Scrap 'n' Chat

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends!

Time for a surprise challenge at Paper Issues this month - 

Play, scrap, & chat along with us in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook group here. 

The challenge is such a fun one! 

Simply feature all of the 8 following items on your layout:

*Floral paper

*Polka dot paper

*A sun

*Camera

*Wood veneer

*Stars

*3 Stickers

*Frame 

You can use more items if you wish, but you must include everything on the list! 

Cool!

Here's what I came up with, 

"So Lovely"

Isn't this the sweetest?!!

You'll spy lots of Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Wild At Heart collection here - SO pretty!!!

You'll also spot all 8 of the items - although I wasn't a huge fan of using the sun, 

so it's tucked beneath my photo cluster ;) 

Let's take a closer look at my layout....

Picture perfect, indeed! Love this girl! 

The Wild At Heart collection has a fabulous mix of florals, polka dot and stripes patterns & it was fun for me to use the dots as the feature paper this time. 

As you know I usually cant get past those pretty florals, 

and I just love how this turned out! 

The diagonal design teamed with the photo cluster looks so good! 

Here's another view....

That chipboard polka dot heart is the cutest! 

I've embellished it with a new Amy Tangerine: Hustle & Heart mini bow for extra cute!

Those pretty veneer hearts are from Pinkfresh Studio and coordinate beautifully!

Everything else on the layout is Cocoa Vanilla Studio;

the sun veneer is from the Hello Sunshine collection, 

the chipboard stars are from Love Always, 

& all the rest is Wild At Heart. 

Ga ga Gorgeous!!!
