My Kaisercraft Design Team Creations: October

Hi everyone!

Welcome back for another peak at this month's fabulous new Kaisercraft Collections!

I know I say this every month, but truly, these new collections are just stunning!!!!
But enough talking, let's get straight into the good stuff
& you can see for yourselves.....

The first collection I would like to share with you is a Christmassy one -
North Pole
but it is soooooo ultra modern and contemporary that it will knock your socks off!
I just Loooooooove it!
Here's why....

"Family Love" layout

Isn't this the sweetest Dad & daughter page?!!
Simple, clean but oh-so-lovely!
Love the colour combos of pale blue, red & black - such a modern twist on Christmas!

And of course, we can't have Christmas without cards........

Simple, and stylish - my kinda Christmas!

And my final creation with this collection was inspired by the incredible Jowilna Nolte
(She's a huge inspiration to me! Please visit Jowilna's blog here)
It's an altered quiche tin........

As the collection is called North Pole, I just couldn't help but create a 'north pole'.
I used a red/white party straw & hairpin. Of course, no Kaisercraft project is complete without beautiful blooms, wooden flourishes, rhinestones & collectables!
Such a beautiful OTP creation!
Now you see why North Pole is a 'must have' in your Christmas stash! Love it!

Next up is the incredible, warm, bright and beautiful,
Tropical Punch
This collection was just perfect for me,
Bright, girly and just soooooo lovely!

A few divine cards to start with....

So very, very pretty!

Free Standing Butterfly....
(Kaiserwood - making it so easy to create amazing OTP numbers!)
Isn't this just beautiful! I love it!!!

Lots of lovely blooms, collectables and Rub-ons used here.

And for something different for me, a sample of pocket pages using the fantastic
Captured Moments Journal Cards!

Yes, it is safe to say that I am totally loving those journal cards!!!
Just divine!

And of course, a couple of layouts to really showcase this incredible collection....

"Life is Beautiful"

Love this page - so girly and fun!
(and aren't they just the sweetest?!!)
Check out that super-cool Gingham stamped background too...
Kaisercraft stamps rock!!!

"Hello Beautiful"

A really different take on the same collection - demonstrating how versatile this new range is!
And really, she is oh-so- beautiful!!!
Wow!

The final collection I am sharing with you today is the incredibly pretty,
Rustic Harmony
You may remember having a sneak peak at this collection as I was lucky enough to receive for my DT Finalist entry.....
But here are some new creations with it,

"Perfect" layout

Told you it was super pretty!
A really stunning page for my beautiful 'perfect' girl! :)
Love this collection - it's just so feminine!
Let's take a closer look......

Super adorable collectables that compliment perfectly...

Now for a divine OTP project, my
Tussie Mussie!

Might be making a few of these as gifts... too pretty!!

And a modern, more contemporary layout to finish with,

"Sweet Love"

Oh, how she has grown up since this photo was taken! Such a sweetie!
And how cute are those stickers too?!!
Love it!

And there you have it! Another month of Kaisercraft awesomeness!
Lots more incredible inspiration from my fellow DT members on the Kaisecraft Blog too!

Couture Creations DT Projects: October #2

Hi Everyone!
Today I'm sharing a lil Christmas card
that uses some fabulous Couture Creations dies!

So stunning!
I love how versatile the Couture Creations products can be - and the dies are no exception!
I've combined my Moulin Rouge doily & Paddington Street Lamp with the Holly & Berries Frame to create this card.

(Yes - I've combined my regular dies with my Christmas collection to maximise interest & effect!)

Here's how......

Prepare your die cuts in the cardstock colour of choice
& then snip the doily and lamp (as shown above).

Adhere your Christmas paper of choice to the cardstock card using Double Sided Tape.

Attach doily halve to bottom of card - as shown.

Glue the lamp top - as featured above.

Attach Holly & Berries Frame using 3D Foam Mini Dots - so it slightly 'pops' off the card.

Add a sentiment, 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!'.
Attach a bow for added dimension &
some of those stunning Red Lust Gemstones to complete the card.

Voila!
Another super easy but oh-so-stunning card,

Simply beautiful!

Thanks for visiting,
Hope you liked my Christmas Card tutorial!

til next time,

Welcome to another Imaginarium Designs Guest Designer creation!

If you missed my earlier post this month, please go back & take a peak.

I am so excited to be sharing another fantastic project that highlights the incredible
 Imaginarium Designs chipboard!
Today I'm sharing a 3 card set that features chipboards from the Designers collection....

Fun, fresh and really contemporary cards that go 'WOW!"
They're created from MME Market Street Nob Hill papers and Foil Shapes.
Love how chipboard adds texture, dimension & interest to cards!
Let's take a closer look......

A lil love note for that special someone that you  just 'Love & love you'

And for a male birthday..........

Love those arrows! They make a fabulous embellishment to a male card or scrap page!

And last, but not least, a celebration card........

Feeling 'So excited NOW'
Such a modern and fun card set that really shows off those fabulous Designers chipboards.

Hope you liked my lil card set &  feel inspired to get some chipboard on your cards!

Thanks for visiting (& for leaving some love in the comments ;)  )

Imaginarium Designs: Guest Designer

Hi everyone!

I am both thrilled & delighted to announce that this month I am a Guest Designer for
So excited!! Just loooooove their chipboard!

But let's just get straight into the good stuff -
Stunning creations using our favourite chippies from Imaginarium Designs.......

One of my absolute favourites is the 3 inch Clock Face  - I LOVE it!
It is such a versatile feature and or, embellishment, to any project.
Here's my first creation with it.....

Isn't this mini wall art the sweetest?!!
Love how pretty the clock and cogs can appear
when combined with some seriously gorgeous paper & blooms!

Let's take a closer look.......

I've combined the clock with a few other amazing chipboards - 9 Cogs on board (tinies), Bird Cage (Small) 4 & 4 Small Butterflies.
To re-create that slightly rusted look simply coat your chipboard in white gesso.
Once dry, ink with Kaisercaft Ink Pad 'Vintage' - Simple, but so effective!

Now, just to prove how versatile the clock can be,
here it is again - this time on my art journal cover.......

Modern, contemporary and just a little luxe!
Super cool and love how those precious metals really add dimension to the clock face.
It really is a 'must have' in your 'go to' chipboard stash.

And there you have it!
A glimpse at my first guest post highlighting my favourite chipboard, the 3 inch Clock Face.
I'll be back later this month to share with you a few more creative Imaginairum Designs delights!
Thankyou for visiting,
'til next time,
Happy Arty Days,

Couture Creations DT Projects: October #1

Hello again!
Welcome back for more Couture Creations inspiration!
Today I am  sharing with you a cool technique to try with any of our fabulous embossing folders.
Here’s my finished project…..

Gorgeous, huh?!!

And as usual, it’s another super easy one to recreate!
Here’s how……

  1. Emboss your cardstock (or quality watercolour paper) using your favourite Couture Creations Premium Embossing Folders.                                   I used The Marriot Collection: Great Fubu.

 2. Stamp over the raised/embossed image with your embossing ink. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder.

 3. Dust away excess powder with a stiff bristle brush. Apply heat to powder until all particles are completely melted away & allow to cool for five minutes.

4. Use watercolour paint, or spray inks, to cover straight over the embossed areas – so easy! (No fancy painting skills required!) Allow to dry.

 5. Cover cardstock with baking paper & on a low-medium heat setting, iron in a circular motion until the clear embossing ‘melts away’. Be sure to follow all safety instructions when using iron.

You are now left with the embossed cardstock in it’s original colour & a fabulous painty background that doesn’t detract from the embossed pattern.

Love it! A really stunning effect that you can try today!
I'd love to see your creations with this technique,
Please post them on the Couture Creations Facebook page for everyone to admire!
Thankyou for visiting.
 til next time,

Happy Arty Days!
