Studio Fourteen40: Hello Sunshine!

Hi Friends!

I know, its been a while since I blogged for Studio Fourteen40!

After the all the hype for the big Wild Spirit Collection & Kit release,

I have been enjoying some quiet crafting for myself & playing along with a few challenges!

I created this layout for a Paper Issues scraplift challenge using the Pink Paislee Fancy Free collection.

But, it has a few too many awesome Studio Fourteen40 products not to share!

So without further ado, here's my layout....

"PLAY"

Told you it was awesome! And so much Studio Fourteen40 fabulousness here too!

You'll spy flair from the Hello Sunshine collection, wood veneer stars & even those glitter foam cut glasses!

Let's take a closer look.....

Today was awesome indeed!

How terrific is that flair button?!!! LOVE it! So bright, bold and happy - perfect for my cheeky monkey ;)

The veneer stars are almost like scatter sequins, but cooler! They are beautifully cut and there's so many of them in the packet that you'll be able to use them on multiple projects!

And how about those Foam Cut: Spunky Specs in green?! These are such a playful embellishment and work so well with my layout.......

Apart from being super cool, my fave feature of these delicate cut glasses is that they're stickers - so no messy glue required to attach them! Making crafting even easier!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Love Always Double Layout & A Class!

Hi Cocoa Vanilla Studio Friends!

Welcome back! Today I am super-dee-duper excited to be sharing my first creation with the all NEW

LOVE ALWAYS Collection!

This collection is just so incredibly pretty that my only words for it are 'swoon' and 'sigh' - it's that stunning!

Needless to say, I immediately fell head over heels with Love Always!

So, instead of creating one layout for you today, I've created two! And the clever part, they also work as a double layout! But enough chatter, here they are.....

"Love Is the Closest Thing We Have To Magic"

I know, sweetness overload! Could this collection be anymore delicate and divine?!! I don't even know where to start - it's just SO precious!

So many pretty elements and those pattern papers; swoon!!!

I've used the reverse side of Twin Set (that fine stripes paper) as the neutral base for both my pages, but then opted for a pretty pink paper for my girl page (Class Act) and a soft blue paper for my boy (Note To Self). I've connected both pages with even cut apart pieces from the Lovely Things paper too! Simply stunning!

Despite the two layouts mirroring one another, there are a few different features on them - so let's take a look at each one individually. Let's start with ladies first.....

*sigh* Isn't this darling?! She is such my little lady!

I am a bit of a sucker for soft, delicate girly layouts. The soft pinks, those vellum shapes and chipboard stickers are just so pretty I can't take my eyes off of them! You stole my heart indeed!

How intricate (& divinely gorgeous) is the vellum doily......

I love the tiny heart details in the doily which compliment the hearts throughout Love Always. A very sweet detail!

The chipboard stickers are my new favourite embellishment though - just look at those frames I've layered with my photo! And that geometric heart is too cute!

You'll spy lots of vellum blooms on this layout too! So very sweet and delicate - a bit like my subject in the photograph!

As for all those sequins, blingy bits, resin roses and button - they all come from the Bits & Pieces embellishment packet. An absolute must have item as it has a lil bit of everything in it for adding that special finishing touch to your creations.

The 'You stole my heart' and 'Always' cards have been cut from the patterned paper Lovely Things. These would be fabulous for pocket page scrapbookers too!

And how about that sweet cluster at the bottom of my layout.....

Oh that's pretty! That tiny rose bud just accentuates those gorgeous vellum blooms - LOVE!

"Love is the closest thing we have to magic" has been snipped in half and shared across the two layouts to keep them connected and relative to each other. Speaking of other layout, here it is.....

Isn't he just aodrable?!! He always has me at hello! As this is the masculine version of my pretty girl page, I've added more depth of colour to the mixed media background, and featured the blues (and more of the greys) through the embellishments. How sweet is that chipboard sticker flag? And those frames are all kinds of awesome!

I've still used a little bling on the page from the Bits & Pieces embellishment packet, but opting for more dots over hearts. I'm also using a few stars in the chippie stickers to add a bit of balance too!

How cool is the lower cluster too?! I've used the coordinating "O" sticker to keep with the circles and dots on the page - but also to connect the two pages with an "XO" .....

Love that striped button, and how sweet is that tiny vellum heart? I mean, seriously there are ombre hearts in the vellum shapes!!! Loving it all!!!

With the dots / circles being a bit of a minor theme on this layout, I also used a couple of the grey dots vellum pieces too....

Again, I've used the Lovely Things cards to connect the two pages, and I have to say I am loving that patterned paper - so versatile!

Nautical Bliss!

Hi Creatives!

Welcome back!

Today I have two very sweet layouts that I've created for

Shop & Crop Scrapbooking

with the Julie Nutting: Nautical Bliss collection.

This collection is a beautiful mix of Julie Nutting's Prima Dolls, combined with a pretty seaside theme - so pretty!!!

But enough chattering, let's get straight into the good stuff! Here's my first layout,

"The Sea"

Told you it was pretty!

How sweet are the pastel tones with the red pops of colour?!

Just love that colour palette!

For this layout I have made a feature of the reverse side of the pattern paper:

Pink Dolls Item #NB2243

The tiny red stars on this paper are the sweetest! But the 'pink dolls' were too cute not to use, so they're on the top of the page too!

Such a cute trim, and it also uses a few cut pieces from the

'Cards' paper - Item # NB2239.

I've also used a few of my 'left over' items from the Shop & Crop Scrapbooking: June Cropaholic Kit to embellish with. You'll spy Dear Lizzy Embellished Brads, as well as a Dear Lizzy flamingo paperclip. I ADORE that flamingo clip!!!

I fussy cut the flowers, and words from the Cards paper too!

(Note: Doily is from my personal stash, but the store does have similar ones in stock)

The sequins are from Cocoa Vanilla Studio - they're also in the store ;)

They really add that finishing touch!

Love just how soft & delicate this beachy page is!

Nautical Bliss is a perfect collection for scrapping your Seaside Memories with!

But just to prove how versatile it can be, I've also created a non- nautical page too!

Here's my second layout,

"Doll Baby"

This time I've really embraced the Pink Dolls paper - it works so well with my photograph!

But it's the fussy cut bunting that really makes this layout a little special! It's cut from the pattern paper 'Banners' - Item #NB2238. Yes, it was a lil time consuming, but the result is well worth the scalpel efforts!

Again, I've used the 'Cards' paper to fussy cut and add a few details to my layout. I've also used a few cards to layer beneath my photo too!

The other embellishments featured are all from Photo Play Paper: Happy Glamper: Alpha Stickers. These stickers are also from my June Cropaholic Kit left overs.

The stickers also form my title, and subtitle....

So cool! & I love the fussy cut doll - works too well with my layout theme!

And there you have it!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Hello Sunshine XO

Hi Everyone!

Oh my goodness, I am FROZEN!!!

Down here in Australia we're suffering the coldest Winter in a long time!

It's so very cold that it's got me dreaming of Summer!

Needless to say, on the one day that the sun did shine, we hit the rock beach

& later, I dived into my Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Hello Sunshine stash to warm me up ;)

Here's my latest layout with Hello Sunshine,

"XO"

I know, where to begin? So many details and embellishments to drool over here! & not to mention, how sweet are these two on the rocks? Love them!

I also love that Hello Sunshine is totally gender neutral - it works so well for both male and female pages! I've combined the pattern papers CV-HS004 CHILL OUT (denim) & CV-HS005 SUMMER HITS (blue floral) to reflect & balance both my boy and girl. I love how well they partner up - just stunning! To 'marry' the two together, I've also used that versatile woodgrain paper CV-HS001 FULL BLOOM

I've also made a feature of my title with the XO Cut File which is included in the Colour Me Happy Cut File Set. Isn't it cool?!

Sooooooooo many pretty elements to this layout though, so let's take a closer look or two.....

Love this - yes, I cut those words, as well as 'fun times' from the patterned paper CV-HS003 HAPPY DAYS - they coordinate beautifully with my colour palette, as well as they 'fit' my story too! Such an easy way to add a spot of journaling!

Hearts seem to be a bit of a 'go-to' embellishment for me, especially when it comes to sweet photos of these two! There are quite a few varieties of hearts with the Hello Sunshine collection too! Puffy Stickers, Little Hearts, Wood Veneers, Accessory Stickers... And why not use them all?!

I've also used a few Fancy Buttons in my embellishment clusters too! (The doily and blue thread are from my personal supplies.) How glossy are the enamel and puffy heart?! LOVE!!!

I am really loving the Colour Me Happy Cut Files! Oh my! They're awesome! I've used the XO to create a real feature for my title, I've backed them with the denim look paper (Chill Out). I have also used the floral cuts to layer beneath my photo. I adore how the flowers are very similar to the ones in the patterned paper, the Wood Veneers and Die Cut Ephemera too!

Prettiness overload!!! I mean, those Wood Veneer florals are just darling!

How cool are those pattern paper layers beneath my photo? And those pretty ephemera blooms!!!

Another gorgeous cluster in the bottom right hand corner......

Loving life, indeed!

A sweet ephemera heart features this time, and its striped pattern plays to the XO cut files perfectly! The horizontal stripes feature, contrasts with the vertical page design, adding further interest for the eye. The warmth of the Wood Veneers and the Fancy Buttons add balance to my page, as they cut through the cool blues of the layout. Everything balanced, and considered. So easy to achieve this look when the collections are so meticulously coordinated!

Kaisercraft: July Creations & Farewell Kaisercraft!

Hi Sweet Friends!

Welcome back for another month of all New Kaisercraft collections!

To be honest, today is a little bittersweet for me;

I'm sharing some beautiful projects with the new collections,

but I am also saying farewell to the Kaisercraft DT!

I have been lucky enough to be on the Kaisercraft DT for 2 years, and it has been a fabulous experience! I thoroughly enjoy designing with each of the collections every month and will miss sharing with you all!

But before I get all misty-eyed, here's my takes on July's collections;

Bon Appetit (a culinary delight)

Mademoiselle (A vintage pretty)

First up, a delicious serving of Bon Appetit.....

Isn't he the cutest lil Masterchef?!!

I couldn't resist going monchromatic on this page - the black & white patterned papers are just so striking!

Let's take a closer look....

Those Flourish Pack - Cooking Shapes are just the best embellishments!

And as usual, the Collectables are just too fun & playful! I mean, how totally cute is that electric mixer?!!

And here's one of my other sweet baker.....

"Sweet Treats"

How cute is she in the kitchen?!! Growing up so fast!

Loving the recipe pattern background paper here - very cool! And the embellishments are just divine...

Those cherries!!! Love them!

Clearly, Bon Appetit is not just for making recipe books from! It's also perfect for capturing our junior chefs in action! Sweet memories!

Speaking of sweet, let's take a look at what I've created with the super sweet (and a little darling) Mademoiselle....

Love how delicate and feminine this is! SO very pretty!

A fabulous masculine card, with such a feminine collection.

And my final creation today is this layout......

How divinely delicate is this?!! Total swoon! I love those soft, muted dusty pinks! Just gorgeous! And the heart die-cuts partner perfectly with this collection! Let's look closer....

A lil Kaisermist Candy droplets & some Champagne Rhinestones embellish the layout beautifully.

How stunning is that intricate heart doily?! Combined with those butterfly Collectables, this page is just sweetness and light! Love it!

And there you have it! My final creations for Kaisercraft!

Imaginarium Designs: July Creations

Hi Creatives!

Today I am sharing a sweet sibling love page, as well as another of my upcoming class layouts on the Imaginarium Designs blog!

I love intricacy of our chippie designs, but even more than that, I love the versatility of
Imaginarium Designs Chipboard!

It really doesn't matter what you're creating the chippies always embellish and complete a project beautifully!

The brand new Fancy Pants Designs: Millie & June collection is a super sweet Mother/Grandmda/Sister range & instantly made me think of the chipboard phrase,

"S is for Sister my forever friend" - I think it coordinated just perfectly......

Yep. That chipboard phrase/title is just awesome!

You'll also spy the Imaginarium Designs Chipboard bunting banner on this layout too!

Two very simple chipboard pieces that really bring the page together and maximise effect. I've drawn on the Millie & June colour palette to inspire the treatment on this chipboard - lots of Gold and Royal Blue Versa Inks - love it!

Let's take a closer look....

Talk about intricate cuts - how fabulously cut is that phrase?!!! A gorgeous font and the gold inky finish is divine!

I've used a gold puffy sticker as a sub-title to support the sister phrase as the main heading on this layout.

I love how this bunting connects my photgraphs & draws you into that sweet ephemera and flair cluster. Too cool!

I love the two-tone effect on the bunting / flag banner, and it was so easy to do! Simply 'mask' the area to be protected with a piece of paper and ink away. Allow ink to dry and repeat the process on the opposite side. Such a fun and playful way to embellish your layouts!

A bit of mixed media delight combined with our favourite chippies and Cocoa Vanilla Studio's: Colour Me Happy collection. Love!

Let's take a closer look at each page individually......

"Love this"

Love this: boy, photo, attitude, memory, love it all! The new chipboard design 'lovethis' is just too easy to create with! I coated mine in black ink, and then applied Glitzin' Glamour in Black to give it more texture, dimension and lift. Very cool!
