Citrus Twist Kits: Sunday Sketch with the Good Stuff Kit!

Happy Sunday Lovelies!

My turn on the Citrus Twist Kits blog with today's super fun Sunday Sketch!
Here's what it looks like....

Oooh! How AWESOME is this sketch?!!
I loved it as soon as I saw it, & couldn't wait to play along with this design!
For today's sketch I wanted to showcase how fantastic the September "Good Stuff" Add-On Kit is -
here's what I came up with.....

"En Pointe"

LOVE!!!
Such a special moment documenting my daughter's first pair of pointe shoes! Milestone moment for every young danseur & ballerina!
And how gorgeous is this Add-On Kit?! Everything you see (apart from my cardstock base) is from this kit! Now that's cool!
Here's a closer look....

As it's a ballet page, I just had to draw on all the pink elements from the Good Stuff Kit. The Vicki Boutin Die Cut Ephemera pieces, combined with the MME Girl Meets Glam Decorative Brads, were the perfect option for all the ticket / tag elements in the sketch! They really pop against the otherwise black & white page!  Pretty!

For the pattern paper trim, I use the subtle polka dot pattern paper from the Maggie Homes: Willow Lane 6" x 8" Paper Pad. This paper also inspires the use of the polka dot alpha Thicker, as well as the coordinating brad over my photo. Sweet!
Carefully considered embellishments to adorn my page!

For finishing touches, I use the MME Girl Meets Glam Enamel Dots as an alternative to the paint splatter on the sketch. Love how this looks!
You can never have too many enamel dots, right?!

And there you have it!
My take on Citrus Twist Kit's awesome Sunday Sketch!

I hope I have inspired you to play along - I can't wait to see what you create!

Elle's Studio: Hazel Alphabet Stickers Spotlight!

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more Elle's Studio inspiration!

I just adore the Hazel Alphabet Stickers
and today I'm shining the spotlight on these fabulous alphas!!
I couldn't resist using both the white and the light purple varieties on my layout!
They were perfect for documenting my daughter's love of desserts!
So without further ado, here's my layout,

"Story Of Dessert"

Pardon the pun, but isn't this the sweetest?!
I have used those fabulous Hazel Alphabet Stickers as both a border trim on my white cardstock, and as washi tape strips on my vellum sheet.
Here's a closer look.....

So gorgeous!!!
Loving all that pretty purple!
I alternate colors between each story descriptor, mainly names of her fave desserts, and also use the stickers in my 'the story of dessert' title.
And yes, despite being a very petite ballerina she has an enormous sweet tooth!

I use the word 'yum' repeatedly to for the faux washi tape. Awesome!
You'll also spy the Exclusive September Kit, Good Eats wood veneers from the September new releases, as well as our List & Ledger Journaling Tags and Noteworthy collection.

Delicious, indeed!
Such a fun way to tell stories on your scrapbook layouts!

How amazing are these tiny alphas?!!
I just LOVE them!
Get yours from the Elle's Studio shop HERE

I hope my layout has given you a few different ideas on how to use these fabulous
Hazel Alphabet Stickers in your creating!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Throwback Thursday - Hello Lovely!

Hi Creative Friends!

Time to share a lil  Cocoa Vanilla Studio love,
& today I am celebrating Throwback Thursday with the gorgeous Hello Lovely collection!
I made SO many beautiful creations with this line when it was first released back in 2015,
but it seems I'm still LOVING it as I had no trouble creating with it again!
It's just soooooooo preeeeeetty!!!

Here's what I came up with,
"Love You"

Ga ga gorgeous!!!
You'll spy lots of pretties here!
I start with a white cardstock base, to which I add a scalloped punched border trim with pattern paper, CV-HL002 GLIMMER.
Next, I cut out that divine Butterfly Ring cut file (from Citrus Twist Kits) with our super beautiful CV-HL006 FLOWER PATCH pattern paper.
Absolutely gor-jus!!! This pretty floral paper is simply heavenly! I draw on the colors to inspire my mixed media base.

The media is a simple series of coordinating watercolor rings, paint flicks & splatters. Lots of fun! Once dry, I apply the Flower Patch butterfly ring, and begin to embellish the cut file.
First, I frame my darling photograph with an DIE CUT EPHEMERA frame, and then adorn it with pretty blooms....

Oh how darling is this?!!
So super sweet!
Next, I take as many butterfly embellishments that I can find, and add them to my page! I love the look of layered butterflies, so I use a few DIE CUT EPHEMERA ones on my cut file butterflies. Cute! For a bit of 'wow' factor, I also fussy cut that beautiful Monarch butterfly from pattern paper, CV-HL005 LUCKY DIP and add it to the largest butterfly in the ring. Talk about a feature piece! This is such a beautiful detail!

Isn't it something?!!
If you look carefully, you'll also spy a few teeny tiny WOOD VENEER butterflies layered on the cut file, as well as scattered around the ring, too! Speaking of veneer, I use the exquisitely cut 'love you' WOOD VENEER as my layout title. So awesome!

To draw a lil more attention to the title,
I add that stunning brass LUCKY CHARMS arrow to direct you in!
For the remainder of my layout, I simply decorate and embellish on and around the butterfly ring with SEQUINS, ENAMEL DOTS, DIE CUT EPHEMERA & more WOOD VENEER. With such a darling photograph, I can't resist adding a few DIE CUT EPHEMERA & VELLUM HEARTS. So Beautiful!

Such a simple design, and yet so incredibly detailed and beautiful!

All the butterfly LOVE!!!
I hope my layout has inspired you to go back and revisit some of the older
Cocoa Vanilla Studio collections!
I think it's safe to say that they're still winning my heart over!
Hello Lovely, indeed!
You can view ALL the collections HERE in the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Shop.

Citrus Twist Kits: Heartbreaker Layouts!

Hi Creative Friends!

Time for my first installment of this month's amazing Heartbreaker Kits from Citrus Twist Kits
If you haven't already ordered yours, you can check them out HERE

This month's extraordinary Heartbreaker kits are jam packed full of so.much.gorgeousness!!!
And the stamps! Oh.my.heart, the stamps are errrrything!
But enough chatter, here's what I'm talkin'bout!

"Wonderful"

Wonderful, indeed! Fall pages never looked so pretty!
I have used the beautiful Heartbreaker Scrapbook and Embellishment Kits, as well as the This Is Life "Magic Happens" Stamp! Awesome!
I was immediately drawn to all the Amy Tangerine Shine On collection items in this kit! The patterns & colors just made my creative heart happy! There's also lots of die cuts from this line too, especially those stunning blooms!!! I use the Scrapbook Kit stamp on my cut apart label, and repeat the 'Be you, bravely' sentiment. All the other stamping is from the "Magic Happens" stamp. (And how sweet are those pink stamped heart icons?! Love!)
I am also crushing on that vintage music note paper! Seriously LOVING!

With a white cardstock background, it was a lil hard to see that 'wonderful' title. To add some definition to it, I smeared Coral Macaroon paint from the Mixed Media Color Pop acrylic paint from Vicki Boutin (July Mixed Media Kit) beneath it.  I also embellished my title with cotton floss from my stash, as well more of those heart icon stamps! Perfect!

Lots of pretty layers & details form this page.
Here's a closer look at the embellishment clusters.....

Stickers, die cuts, veneers, stamps, epoxy and puffy stickers - this layout has it all!!! So many pretties!
Here's another view....

Told you the stamps are errrrything!!! They print so perfectly, & compliment all styles of memory keeping - love 'em!

I've opted for a completely different look for my next layout....

"Remember This"

How fun  & fabulous is this?!
Apart from the obvious smaller size ( 8.5" x 11" ), I have created a less is more, clean lines kinda page! I have used the Heartbreaker Scrapbook Kit, & teamed it with embellishments from both the Add-On and Embellishment Kits. I just love the warm color scheme against the stark, white negative space - so refreshing and contemporary!
This page is for my 'documenting the everyday' album. It's a really simple, no frills album filled with favourite moments and photographs that I just had to record.
And aren't my two darlings just the sweetest?! Despite the 6.5yr age gap they totally dote on one another, and love to spend their after school time at the park together. So cute!

The Maggie Holmes Willow Lane clear stickers were the perfect addition to this playful design!

So simple. So sweet!

My next page is all the pretty things....

"This Story"

Gasp! Isn't it swoon worthy?! SO super pretty with all those gorgeous florals!
I have featured the PL Heartbreaker Kit, and combined it with the Add-On and Pattern Paper Kits. Just gorgeous!
I couldn't resist that pretty floral paper, and it's coordinating ephemera! Perfect for scrapbooking this sweet picture of my daughter & how cute is that deer?!! So adorable!
Here's a closer look.....

I can't handle the cuteness! All the heart eyes for that deer!
I also love the gold script puffy word stickers from the PL kit. They're bold in gold, but because of their intricate script remain very delicate in appearance. Love!

Beauty in everything, indeed! The exclusive epoxy stickers are so awesome! And those blooms are just too pretty!

Even the brads are adorned with roses! Floral love!

And last, but by no means least, I have this stunning page to share.....

"Simple & Sweet"

Sigh! Isn't this all kinds of prettiness?!!
I just fell in love with that divine mint green floral, and had to create a girly page with it!
Actually, I had to create with all.the.things! I have mixed most of the September kits to create this layout - but with so many beautiful possibilities, why not?!
Here's a few close ups for you....

So gor-jus! I just love how everything coordinates so beautifully despite being from a mix of the kits!
The scallop pattern on the woodgrain Willow Lane paper was just begging to be fussy cut & I used the scalloped trims as an alternative to ribbon or lace.
Such a great way to highlight & use a pattern paper!

Those golden Pinkfresh Studio puffy stickers are just awesome! So versatile and elegant, & they add warmth to an otherwise cool and minty fresh page!

And there you have it!
A first look at my creations with the gorgeous September Heartbreaker Kits!
If you haven't ordered your September kits yet, hurry on up HERE, as they're bound to sell out fast!
Or even better, set up a monthly subscription and never miss out again!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I'll be back later in the month with more inspiration and memory keeping ideas!
til then,

Happy Arty Days,
Amanda xo

Elle's Studio: September Kit & New Releases!

Hi Creative Friends!

Welcome back to the Happy Arty Days blog!

It's the 10th day of the month & we all know that means {squeal!} it's

Elle's Studio New Release time!

Yessssss!
So.much.awesomeness!

Here's the a look at the Exclusive September Kit....

How fabulous is this?!! Another amazing kit full of fun & fresh designs!
And the Add Ons are just as good.....

Wow! Stamps, veneers, acrylics and more!
This makes my creative heart happy!

And last, but by no means least, here our the incredible Digital Cut Files and Printables for September....

Label LOVE!!!!

Before you race to the store to shop all these yummy products,
here's a little inspiration and eye candy with them for you.....

"All The Details"

My Favorite indeed!
What a wonderful moment captured & documented!
And how amazing is that stamping?!!
I have repeat stamped the Love This heart icon from the Right Now Stamp Set in Saffron Yellow ink. I also stamp lime colored ink sentiments around the border of my design - so cool!
Here's a better look.....

So awesome!
As well as the lime ink sentiments, you'll also spy a border of Here + Now Phrase Stickers too!
The remainder of my layout is made from the Exclusive September Kit, September Labels, and our Noteworthy collection.

Here's a few close ups for you....

Those stamps are just incredible!!!

The Epoxy Stickers are from our Noteworthy collection, and are the perfect addition to any project!

Such a fun way to document the start of the Fall Season!

I am sharing more stamp love on my second layout today too.....

"You Are My Favorite Story"

Oh WOW!!!
How awesome is this?!!
So many beautiful products, cool layers and amazing stamped details!
Here's a better look.....

LOVE this!

Inspired by the Story Acrylic, and the art of telling stories, I tried to make my Noteworthy layout base similar to an envelope. I position that fabulous title (made from our Hazel Alphabet Stickers, Story Acrylic and Good Eats Wood Veneer) onto the faux envelope fold - really drawing attention to it!

The Elle's Studio Add Ons are always super awesome & that exquisitely cut Story Acrylic is just errrrything!!!
But it's the September Kit teamed with our new Quoted Stamp that I am totally crushing on!!!

How cool is that stamp?!!!
I stamp the speech bubbles in the royal & sky blue inks, and then use more of those fabulous Hazel Alphabet Stickers to add my sentiments & journaling.
I also stamp the quotation marks in royal blue ink around my photo cluster. Such a fun, inky alternative to using scattered enamel dots or adding painty splatters to a background!
My photo layers combine the cards & die cuts from the September Kit, as well as the September Labels, Here + Now Phrase Stickers, September Label Stickers, & our Noteworthy collection

So.much.fun, indeed!

I hope my layouts have inspired you!

I'll be back in a few days with more Elle's Studio inspiration for you!
'til then,
Thanks so much for visiting!

Happy Arty Days,
Amanda xo
