Paper Issues: September Pinspire Me

Hi Lovelies!

Welcome back for another edition of Paper Issues' mood board challenge;

Pinspire Me

This month's pinspiration board is really cute n fun!
Here's what we're drawing from....

Back to School Cool!!! (& all the colours of the rainbow too!)
Love it!

Here's my take on it....

"ABC Happy Adventure"

Isn't this super fun?!!
I've been stashbusting my Crate Paper Maggie Holmes' collections: Chasing Dreams & Gather to create this scrapbook layout.
The bunting-like alphabet letters are fussy cut from pattern paper Happy Place, and then stitched into position. I just love how this looks! Combined with my sweet 1st day of school photo, it really brings  that 'back to school' feel to life! The globe and book stickers add to the education vibe perfectly.
So very sweet!!!
I've also been really inspired by the colours, and in particular the yellow, aqua, pink and blue. La la love that mixed media background - it's made from a few of my new favorite Shimmerz Paints products! SO awesome!
Let's take a closer look.....

Nawww! These two are so cute together!
Happy adventure, indeed!
That pretty pink frame is actually a chipboard sticker from Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Love Always collection - doesn't it coordinate beautifully?!!
Speaking of chipboard stickers, how sweet are the yellow hearts, sentiment & blooms?! Like sunshine, so happy and bright!!!
And oh, that Shimmerz background......

And there you have it!

Paper Issues: January Swag Bag

Hello Lovelies!
Welcome back for more Paper Issues delights with

I know I say this every month - but truly the Swag Bags are like bags of gold!
Hidden treasures that seem to last for ages!
I am still creating with the fabulous September Swag Bag - I know, there was just SO much goodness stashed in that bag!

Here's what I created....

"FUN"

And isn't it just FUN indeed!
As I was almost at the end of my bag, I have used a few extra items on my layout -  the cutfile is called Open Hearts and is a FREE download from the Paper Issues store, and I have also used some sequins, thread, watercolour splatter, & that cute bow.
Everything else you see is from the September Swag Bag!
WOW! Bag of gold for sure!!!

As most of my left over paper pieces were 3x4 cards, I used the cut file to make it appear like more.
You'll spy treaures from Maggie Holmes Gather collection, Shimelle: Go Now Go, Pretty Little Studio, Pinkfresh Studio & Paige Taylor Evans / Pink Paislee's Take Me Away line. So much pretty!!!
Let's take a closer look.....

How pretty are the pastel hues?!! I love how everything coordinates so beautifully!

I love the gold foil specialty papers from Pinkfresh Studio - I fussy cut that heart so it would better fit my page. Gorgeous!

The ephemera pieces in this Swag Bag are just too cute!
I even used the Pretty Little Studio tab strip on my layering.....

Yep. She's my pretty little happy place! Love her to bits!

And I hope you liked my take on Swag Bag inspiration!

Paper Issues: January Cut It Up

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends!

Time for another fabulous Paper Issues challenge!

I absolutely LOVE all the free cut files in the Paper Issues store!
No need to spend on cut files with so many awesome ones being created every month by our talented team!
And the cutfile for this challenge?
Well, it's all about farewelling 2016, & welcoming in the New Year of course!

Here's what it looks like....

Awesome!
You can instantly download this free file in the Paper Issues store here

Now you may remember that I used the top left 2017 file only a few days ago on my
Working Title challenge....

Love how this turned out!

However, to demonstrate how versatile this cutfile is, I decided to cut a variety of sizes of the snowflakes for this Cut It Up challenge.
Here's my layout,

"SNOW"

Brrrrr! Look at that frozen lil face! He was having snow-much fun! lol!
Seriously though, how awesome are those snowflakes?!!!
You'll notice I cut my largest one in half and used the halves to border my page.
To add interest to the snowflakes, I also added ice blue sequins and diamond gemstones.
Let's take a closer look.....

Naww! Totally the cutest!
I have used Crate Paper Snow & Cocoa collection for most of my layout.
The patterned paper background is from Crate Paper's Gather collection.
They combine beautifully, and I love the ephemera layers beneath my photo!

Those snowflakes were SO easy to cut, & yet they look so effective!

Love the wood veneer title too!

And there you have it!

Paper Issues: November Pinspire Me

Hi Happy Scrappy Friends!

Time for this month's Pinspire Me fun with Paper Issues!
This month's inspirational mood board is such an awesome one - check it out:

Love this! So rich, and warm!
And here's my take on it,

"Adore You"

Naww! Love this lil guy! (Despite his antics at times - LOL!)
I've been really drawn in by the seasonal colours and those leaves in the board.
I've used a woodgrain paper from my stash,
and combined it with the Maggie Holmes Gather collection to create this warm and Autumn kinda feel.
It's such a diverse collection that anything, and everything, works with Gather!
Here's a few closer shots.....

\

The ephemera leaves are perfect for suggesting Fall, and support my photograph perfectly!

Lots of Thickers and stickers goodness on this layout too!

Awesome!

Paper Issues: Product Spotlight: Maggie Holmes - Crate Paper: Gather collection

Hi Creatives!

Welcome back for another Paper Issues Product Spotlight!
Today is all about Maggie Holmes Crate Paper Gather collection!!!

Prettiness overload!
And I have been creating sooooooo many pretty pages with this collection that I decided to go for something a bit different for this spotlight - a boy layout!
So, here's my super cool dude take on the Gather collection,

"You Had Me At Hello"

I know, right?! Could he get any cuter!
Love how this turned out too! Bold, bright and daring -
A bit like my sweet subject in the photograph!
Here's a few close-ups for you....

#LOVETHIS indeed! He is such a cool lil guy!
This collection is surpisingly perfect for boys too!!!

One of Mister A for Awesome's favourite things to tell me is, "I like you and I love you Mum" - so that gold foil sticker had to feature on this layout. Perfect!
(Should add, it's one of my favourite things to hear too!)

Isn't he the sweetest?! He always has me at hello! Every.single.time.!
Love my boy! & Love the new Gather collection too!
