Paper Issues: October Pinspire Me

Hi Happy Arty Friends!

It's time to be inspired with a new mood board for the October edition of 

 Paper Issues Pinspire Me challenge!

Here's this month's board - it's a lil spook-tacular!

And here's my take on it.....

"Love Autumn"

So beautiful! Love this girl!

And how divine is this Fall collection from Simple Stories?!

It's called Vintage Blessings and it's the prettiest, most floral delight I've ever seen for Autumn!

You'll also spy some gorgeous Shimmerz Paints for my mixed media background too! 

I've used Vibez: Sunset Strip & Pop Art Pink, and applied them with the packaging technique for a soft and subtle background! Pretty!

Omgoodness, how cute are those patchwork birds?!! 

So adorable! 

I am also adoring those pattern papers!

 I used the reverse side of So Very Blessed, & then layered that pretty mint floral,So Thankful ,over it.  The coordinating trim down the left hand side is actually Grateful Washi Tape!

So divine! 

As always, I have made good use of the Bits & Pieces Die Cuts, Cardstock Stickers & even those fabulous Chipboard Stickers!

"FIVE"

Omgoodness! 5?!!! 

When did Mr A for Awesome become a 5yr old boy?!! 

Finding it hard to let go of him not being a baby anymore...lol!

Moving on though... 

How fun is this take on the sketch?!!

I have used American Crafts' Shimelle: Glitter Girl collection. 

Who would've thought that such a girly line could be so masculine too?

Perfect for bold titles!

Shimmerz Paints: Raspberry Sherbert meets Bohemian Dream!

Hi Creatives!

Time for another super mixed media share with my latest from Shimmerz Paints!

Today I am teaming up their gorgeous colours with the super pretty 

Bohemian Dream collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio!

Here's what I've created......

"Shine Bright"

Ohh swooon! Isn't this just the prettiest?!!

So many beautiful details here!

And lots of floral delights too!

Believe it or not, this layout originally started as a 6" x 12" page - but it just felt too unfinished for me! 

As soon as I laid it onto the 12 x 12 woodgrain paper it felt 'right'.

I knew I wanted to create a beautiful mixed media base, so naturally, I chose to use Shimmerz Paints products!

I started with Inklingz: Pearl: Pugnacious Purple and applied it with the packaging technique. The pearl finish is hard to capture on camera, but in real life the sheen is just divine! 

To add a lil dimension and variance in colour, 

I also add fine splatters in Creameez: Paradise Punch & Sky's The Limit - oh so pretty!!!!

But the piece d'resistance is that incredible stencil work!

I  have used Paste-eez in Raspberry Sherbert & oh my, 

it is just a dream to apply!

 Goes on so smooth, and the vibrant colour is stunning!

Let's take a closer look at it......

Isn't it just the prettiest hue of raspberry?!!

These Shimmerz Paints colours are just a perfect combination with the new Bohemian Dream collection!

Truly a match made in heaven!

Be yourself colourfully...and Bravely!

Couldn't say it better myself!

Such a clean mixed media look, and yet full of dimension & vibrant colour - Love it!

Paper Issues: October Working Title

 Hi Creative Friends!

I am super excited to share Paper Issues October Working Title challenge with you!

This month your project (layout, card, otp, btp, pocket page etc) must feature a title with more than one font! 

Time to stash bust all those Thickers, alphas, and leftover words from collections and get them on a creation! Yay!

 Easy to play along and tons of fun!

Enough chatter though, here's my take using up a mix of patterned paper words, ephemera & Thickers....

Tons of fun, indeed! How cute and playful is this?!!

I have used Maggie Holmes Carousel collection to document my two riding the Merry Go Round recently! Perfect collection for this photo!

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues awesomeness with the October edition of

It's no secret that I LOVE this challenge, and how good is this month's list?!!

As usual, I've managed a few more items than 5, but that's just how easy it is to play along!

You'll spy blue, white, sticker, something gold, cardstock, chipboard, tag & the free choice (doily) on my scrapbook layout.

Oh how pretty!!!

A beautiful page for my beautiful daughter!

I've used the gorgeous Turn the Page collection from Pink Paislee / Paige Taylor Evans, and I am LOVING it! So bright, and cheerful with a feminine feel to it! And OH those florals!!! 

Pretty, pretty, pretty!

Let's take a closer look......

How good are those foil accent Die Cuts?!! That butterfly is just stunning! 

And the Puffy Stickers in this line are just the cutest!

That sweet bird,  & my title are from the Die Cuts packet have been mounted on foam dots to make add dimension and interest. Gorgeous!

Everything in the Turn The Page line is SO bright, fun and Preeeeeetty! Love it all!
