Elle's Studio: Digital Cut Fun Part 2!

Hi Creative Friends! 
Welcome back for more Elle's Studio inspiration!  

As you already know, I am just crazy for the monthly Digital Cut Files!

& today I am expanding on that love with

 Digital Cut Fun: Part 2!

Today's focus is on combining those awesome digital files with the monthly printable designs - yay!
Here's what the March set looks like....

Totally awesome, huh?!

I just adore all the cute bunny designs in the latest Happy Day Printables set, and couldn't resist creating an Easter page with them!

Here's my layout, 

"Bunny Love"

Oh the cuteness! Does it get any sweeter than this?!! And yes, yes, yesssss to all the bunnies!

You'll be surprised just how super easy it is to re create this look! 

Simply open the Happy Days Printables and select the images you wish to print. Edit sizes according to your needs & print away!

 I was super lazy and selected my images and just hit the 'share' & 'print' options in Microsoft Windows. I selected my sizes according to the options in Print Pictures. 

Yes, it's honestly that easy! 

 Fussy cut them out (or if you're really clever print & cut with your silhouette software) and voila! Rabbit season!

I especially love the heart icon which I over size to create the cut file bunnies tummy with! 

And speaking of cut files, here's how I created those sweet big feature bunnies....

Enlarge the white tail bunny digital design to 11 inches in height, left align the image and cut it out with white cardstock. Keep the cut out to use as a future template, and use the bunny 'hole' or negative to back with pattern papers. I love the softness and whimsy of the gray stars design in the Live Laugh Love 6 x 6 Paper Stack. As I opted to use 6 x 6 papers, I rounded the bunny chin & glued it over the other sheet of paper to avoid the appearance of ugly join marks. I then add that extra large heart icon to create the bunny tummy. So cute! Using black cardstock scraps, I snip out a nose and eyes for our sleepy bunny. A pink bow and faux stitching (black felt tip pen) complete the main rabbit. 

For the second pattern paper rabbit, you will need your previously cut out rabbit template. Position the template over the paper you wish to use. I chose the pretty pink hearts from the Live Laugh Love collection because they coordinated perfectly with the heart icon printable, and then it's a simple trace & cut! SO easy! Apply the faux stitching and glue into position. 

Now it's time to make the bunny banner! 

Suspend some baker's twine onto the top right hand corner of your page, and glue into place. Take your Happy Days Printable bunnies and adhere them to the string like flags. Divide each bunny with a Puffy Sticker star from the March Kit & Add-Ons, and add a pom pom cotton tail to each one! Adorable!

Use more of your printed bunnies to both adorn & layer your photo onto....

You'll also spot a few items from our March Kit here ;)

I add more of the printed bunnies to the left side of my feature rabbit too! 

Complete your layout with Puffy Alphabet Stickers, Enamel Dots & Heart Of Gold Chipboard Stickers. 

Simple, fun and oh so perfect for Easter memory keeping!

Layering cut files with printables is super easy but looks so effective!

Paper Issues: February Ad-spiration!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues awesomeness!
 I am super excited to be sharing a better look at the new February challenge, 

This fun challenge is all about taking inspiration from an advertisment selected by our team.

Here's what this month's 'Ad' looks like....

WOW!

Talk about fun! This is SO awesome! 

Take inspiration any way you wish ! From the bright rainbow colours, to the spiral pattern, to the exclamation design, or even the text, - basically anything goes!

Oh, & there's even a new FREE cut file in the store to compliment this challenge too!

Isn't it fabulous?!! 

While it's no secret that I LOVE our free files, I had a different idea for my layout today though.....

Here's my take on this bold & bright Ad, 

"Love Beyond Words"

Isn't this FUN!

I have used a bunch of Elle's Studio: Live Laugh Love Lil Snippets Labels as an alternative to the exclamation marks, and arranged them in the same spiral pattern! To strengthen the connection between the Ad and my layout, I have also used bright, rainbow colours and then stamped exclamation marks around my mixed media background. 

Such a cool design to use your labels and tags with!

You'll also spy Enamel Dots, Puffy Stickers and even a stamp from the Elle's Studio collection.

We have so much fun, indeed!

Another element that I drew inspiration from was the wording in the Ad's text.... 

As you'll see from my photo, my boy Lives Out Loud! and I love him beyond words -  it ties in perfectly with the Ad. 

Here's a very quick look at that background......

I have used Shimmerz Paints Vibez and Spritz, and applied them using the packaging technique. So effective!

It's all about the details! 

Speaking of details, here's a better look at those Elle's Studio labels.....

Paper Issues: Scraplift Sunday!

Hi Creative Friends!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues awesomeness with Scraplift Sunday!

Today we're lifting this fabulous layout from the very talented Janet.....

I know, right?! Totally awesome! 

I am kinda enjoying vertical designs again, so I decided to rotate this design. 

Here's what I came up with....

"Happy Memories"

Omgoodness! Could this boy get any cuter?! Such a sweetie! Adore him to no end!

I've used the striking Elle's Studio: Live Laugh Love collection for this scraplift & I am just loving how it turned out!!! 

The bold colours against the white cardstock, as well as the veneers, really make this layout pop! 

So cool!

All my heart, indeed! He truly makes us all happy - such a joyful lil man! 

Aren't those veneers just divine? Just look at that scalloped trim!

I should note that the solid black hearts are actually from Bella Blvd. They coordinate perfectly with the Elle's puffy sticker title! 

Lots of cool tabs, paper trims and Bits 'n' Pieces ephemera going on here! 

Can you believe that the all day, everryday is actually a washi sticker from this line too?!!So much awesomeness!!!

Paper Issues: June Free File Friday - Boy Theme!

Hello Lovelies!

Welcome back for another super fun edition of Paper Issues

Today we're using any Free File from the Paper Issues store to create a masculine page! 

Let's here it for the Boys, Dads, Sons, Brothers, Uncles etc in our lives!!!

I chose to use the NSD 2017 Free File for my layout!

Here's my layout, 

"Awesome"

Awesome indeed!!! 

How cool is that cut file title! La la LOVE this! 

I've used the Elle's Studio: Live Laugh Love line for this page of my Mr A for Awesome. 

SO much fun!!!!

Loving the pop colours - especially that red! It's his fave colour and is so striking! 

It took me a lil while to back those alphas, but I think the result was worth it! 

I've also embellished with a few Amy Tangerine clear stickers, and flair from Studio Fourteen40.

Let's take a closer look.....

Love this lil guy! Such a happy go lucky kiddo! 

Cool designs on the pattern papers, and the Bits 'n' Pieces in this collection are perfect for clustering with! 

But let's be honest, it's the cut file title that makes this layout.....

As well as backing the title with pattern paper, I've also used the wood veneer stars to create the letter cut-outs too! Totally awesome!

I created this page about my children - who are siblings by chance but very much FRIENDS by choice!

Paper Issues: June Working Title: One Tiny Word!

Hi Creatives!

Welcome back for another round of Working Title!

WOW! The entries for last month's curvy/wavy/round titles were nothing short of Aaaahmazing! 

Thanks so much for joining in and having some fun!

 Speaking of fun, this month's title challenge is just that!

Show me all your delicate and tiny titles, by using one word and keep it to a small font size! 

So the June Working Title challenge is literally, 

'one little word'

This challenge is open to any type of creation, just ensure it's a new project & 

includes one small word! 

I had a ton of fun with this! 

Here's my layout, 

"Happiness"

I've used the super pretty Elle's Studio, Live Laugh Love collection and I am just loving it! 

My tiny title is a die cut from the coordinating Bits & Pieces pack, and perfectly describes my darling daughter! She is happiness! 

Here's a few close-ups for you.....

Isn't it just so pretty?!!

You'll notice that I've also used some older Amy Tangerine Thickers hearts on my layout too!  

The black hearts really pop & match perfectly with those puffy, and hand drawn hearts too! 

Super cute!

Just adore that tiny title!
