Elle's Studio: Product Spotlight: Good Times Paper!

Hi Creative Friends!

Welcome back for more Elle's Studio awesomeness!

Today I'm shining the Product Spotlight on the Good Times 6 x 8.5inch Paper Stack - Yay! I just adore all the bright colors and bold patterns in this fun paper stack, plus the designs are super versatile too! Rather than rave about my love for the Good Times Paper Stack, let's take a look at what I've created,

"Hello Summer"

Hello, indeed! All the Summertime vibes!

Elle's Studio Supplies: Good Times 6x8.5inch Paper Stack, June 2021 Kit, Stars and Stripes Chipboard Stickers, Acetate Star Stickers, Cork Labels, & Patriotic Acrylic Stars.
Other Supplies: White Bazzill Cardstock, & Sewing Machine Stitching.

There are endless possibilities when it comes to creating with the Good Times Paper Stack, so to showcase these beautiful papers I decided to use 5 different designs on my scrapbook layout. Let's take a closer look at how I achieved this...

To start with, I opted for a playful machine stitched, layered rectangles design. This is such a fun look and is super easy to make! I trimmed 4 of the Good Times pattern papers to 1 1/2inches wide by 2 1/2inches long, and arranged them in descending rows from 5 paper rectangles down to 2 rectangles.

I machine stitched across the top of each paper row, and to add a bit more interest, lightly rolled the paper rectangles. This really enhanced the 'lift the flap' appearance of the Good Times paper rectangles - simple but so effective!

The fifth paper featured on this page is that awesome black and white crosses design. I used this Good Times paper to back my foam mounted photograph with. The contrast of black and white against all those brightly colored paper rectangles is really striking and draws further attention to my photograph too! Winning!

Even though the Elle's Studio Paper Stacks are 6x8.5inches, I love to maximize them and form the appearance of them being a full 12 inches. On this layout, I perfected this look at the base of my layout by butting two 1 inch by 6 inch lengths of the same paper together. To make the paper joins less visible, I positioned my June Kit 3x4inch fussy cut note cards Hello Summer title over them both.

To complete my layout, I embellished with a mix of Cork Labels and all the stars from the June release. A really beautiful page thanks mostly to those Good Times papers!

Tell me, what will you create with the fabulous Good Times Paper Stack papers?
