"Always Be A Rainbow"

Wow! For the love of rainbows!!!

Other Supplies: Bazzill Marshmallow Cardstock, Watercolors.

A really wonderful page for my darling girl!
You'll spy that I used the February Printables to create that super large, feature rainbow - so good!
Another feature of this page that I am really loving is the some of the best moments note card from the February Kit, which I have cut to create a pocket frame for my sweet girl's photo! And let's not forget that amazing mixed font title!!! Those Teal Acetate Alphabet letters are just amazing!!!

Gosh, I just loooooove everything about this layout! So bright & fun & whimsical!

Other Supplies: Bazzill Marshmallow Cardstock, Pinkfresh Studio Ink Pads - Seaside & Slumber.

Oh this is all kinds of magic, indeed!
A really fun and fresh twist on the first page, but with a more masculine feel to it. So cool!

For this layout, I just couldn't resist using the negative of the Rainbow Digital Cut File and backing it with a mix of Polka Dot Journaling Tags and Love Is.. 6 x 8.5" Paper Stack papers. And speaking of mixing, how about that mixed font title?! Love it!

I also used those Coral Puffy Alphabet Stickers to number my veneer sentiments, and create order and movement across my page.

But in the end, it was rainbows for undeniable the win! lol!

Elle's Studio: La La Love You Printable Inspiration!

Hi Creative Friends!

Welcome back for more Elle's Studio January Kit Love,
plus some True Love Printable Inspiration!
I just adore creating love-filled pages, and this kit was perfect for this!
Here's what I created,

 "La La Love You" - 8.5 x 11" layout

Oh, how adorable is this?! La la love, indeed!
And you bet I put hearts on it!!!

Other Supplies: Printer quality white A4 paper, home printer, baker's twine - natural.

Such a sweet scrapbook page & for those of you who follow my creating, you'd know that this is my 5th scrapbook page that I have created with the January Kit and new releases. Yes, you read correctly, layout #5 because the January Kit is THAT awesome! That said, I was definitely getting low on supplies when I made this - so how did I get my kit and extras to stretch so far?
Three little words: Elle's Studio Printables! Here's how....

I started my layout by downloading & extracting the Elle's Studio True Love Printables Zipped File to my laptop, which uses Windows software. Once extracted, instead of clicking on the True Love PDF, I  double right clicked on the icon named: EllesStudio-TrueLove-January2020-Printables-JournalingTag02. I then selected to print this image in the standard Windows Print Pictures option. I selected the following: A4 photo size, best quality photo and printed the image to 'fill the page'. I used a quality white A4 printer paper to print with, but a light weight 80pound smooth cardstock would also work well here.
*Please note that printed colors may vary depending on your individual paper, printer and ink options.
Once printed, I trimmed my A4 paper down to the 8.5" x 11" layout size. Perfect! Who would've thought that our Printable Note Cards would also make fabulous pattern papers?! Love it!
Such a great way to maximize your Elle's Studio supplies and make them last that little bit longer!

With such a fabulous striped pattern at the top and base of my paper, I decided to fill the white area with my sweet girl's photograph. I layered my photo onto my few remaining note cards from the January Kit - you'll spy that the 4 x 6" card is actually the same pattern design (only a different color) as the printed one. I trimmed it to 4 x 5" to better fit my page, then layered the 3 x 4 note cards over it. Repeat patterns, shapes, and colors are all integral elements to my design style. With this in mind, it was quickly determined that my page would feature horizontal stripes, hearts, and that super pretty pink & green color palette with red, black and white accents.

To the right of my photo cluster, I embellished with the Love Tag from the You Are Loved Die Cuts pack. I adorned the tag with a La La Love You Puffy Sticker heart (of course!) and some baker's twine from my stash. For added impact, I foam mounted the tag which added some subtle dimension to the page.

On the pretty pink stripes at the top of the printed paper, I embellished with my La La Love You Puffy Sticker title and I Adore You Stickers sentiments and journaling. The puffy alphas fitted perfectly inside the stripe, and really popped against the pink! As my layout appeared to have alternating stripes or features of black and white, I added the 'cutie' puffy alphas in black above my photo cluster to maintain this look and achieve balance.

For finishing touches, I added a few more of the You Are Loved Die Cuts and that fabulous Little Moments Leatherette Sticker.
Simple, easy, loved up creating with our January Kit and extras!
I hope my layout has inspired you to document your loved ones, and to stretch your kits a little further with our amazing Elle's Studio Printables!

Wow! SO much squeezed into this fabulous Color Kitz!

Here's what I created with these amazing products....

"Love You So!"

Oh my heart, indeed! Just look at those pretty pinks and reds!
This would have to be one of the most beautiful color combinations of all time - SO good!
& absolutely perfect for documenting my sweet girl with!
Here's a closer look.....

Hearts for the win!!!
I created this layout by spritzing & painting every color in the kit onto a small piece of watercolor paper. Once dry, I simply ran these papers through my die cutting machine with the Elle's Studio: Love You Lots metal die. I mixed and matched a few of the inset pieces, and layered smaller hearts over larger ones to create interest.
I just LOVE how striking and effective this looks!

Before adhering all.the.hearts to my white cardstock base, I decided to add a soft and subtle mixed media base. I took the new Pink Outside The Box Spritz and applied it across the center of the page using the packaging technique. I added lots of splatters and drips with My Bleeding Heart Coloringz & Blushing Bride Vibez too! So soft and pretty!

Next, I added my photograph, and glued down all the die-cut, painted paper hearts. I embellished with the chipboard heart pieces, as well as all 3 of the exclusive You Are Loved Dotz. I also hand stitched a few hearts using the golden floss (embroidery thread)!
With so much pretty red and pink, I decided to use black and white embellishments from Elle's Studio January release to cut through the color and create balance. So striking!

For finishing touches, I added both black and red ink stamped sentiments from the Elle's Studio: Love You Lots Stamp and a mix of both Red Rapture & Freezin' For A Reason sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps. Perfect!

Simple, but really beautiful creating with the February Collection Color Kitz!

Hip Kit Club: Cut File & Color Kit Inspiration Plus Process Video!

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more Hip Kit Club awesomeness!
I can't begin to tell you how awesome the January 2020 Hip Kit Club Cut Files are!
 I mean, seriously, SO good!
If you know me, I can't go past florals, so I'm featuring the floral wreath cut file in my scrapbook layout today.  As I type this though, my January 2020 Hip Kits are still in transit, so.....
for today's post I'm sharing how I have 'stretched' my December 2019 Hip Kits to make one more detailed, and very pretty page!
I've even included a process video at the end of this post, so you can see exactly what I'm meaning ;) But first, here's my lovely take on the floral wreath cut file.....

"Cherished Pretty Girl"

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Jan29th-Blog-01

Wa wa wow!!!
As well as being all about the florals, I'm also huge on creating very pretty things - especially when it comes to my darling girl! Isn't she the sweetest?!
For this page, you'll spy lots of floral clusters and foliage but I had used a ton of my supplies in my recent HKC mini album (watch here if you missed it), so I had to get a little creative with my 'left over' items to form all those pretty details!
See if you can spy the snowflakes and stars forming my florals....

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Jan29th-Blog-02

Gah! It's just so gor-jus!!!!
To create this page, I started by painting up a few scrap pieces of white cardstock with the Lindy's Gang Magicals: Martina's Marigold & Andrea's Azalea (from December 2019 Color Kit).  I then used these pieces of paper to back the cut file leaves and blooms, as well as cut a few more of my own flower shapes and leaves with.
Next, I painted the wreath 'rings' with the Lindy's Gang: Magicals in Jana's Jade - so pretty!

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Jan29th-Blog-03

I embellished the wreath with a mix of floral clusters which are created from fussy cut stars and snowflakes from the Crate Paper Snowflake Joyous Specialty Foil Accented Paper (exclusive to the December 2019 Paper Kit), So Frosty Decorative Vellum Star Die Cuts, So Frosty Mixed Ephemera, So Frosty Winter Florals and Die Cut Tags, and fussy cut shapes created from the Color Kit Magicals! To complete the look, I added the Prima Adhesive Gems to the centers of these stacked flowers - perfect!
Don't they look fantastic?!
A really simple but effective way to use up your 'scraps' to create more embellishments.

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Jan29th-Blog-05

I separated a few of the wreath, tree and branch pieces from the Crate Paper Copper Foil Phrase & Icon Thickersto create the appearance of more foliage around the wreath. I also added in a few fussy cut leaves which I snipped out from the So Frosty Decorative Vellum Star Die Cuts, as well as the previously painted Lindy's Gang Magicals papers. I combined these with my leafy So Frosty Winter Floral die cuts to build up the wreath and create lots of shape, interest and form.

I tucked my So Frosty framed photograph into the florals on the left hand side, and continued to embellish away! The tiny, floral, So Frosty Flair Button from the December 2019 Embellishment Kitwas the perfect adornment to my baby girl's framed photo - I just love this small, but oh so pretty detail!
HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Jan29th-Blog-06

With a shortage of letters in my Thickers supplies, I opted a mixed font title with alphas from both the December Main & Embellishment Kits. Again, a great way to combine and mix your kits to stretch them that lil bit further! For a polished and finished look, I added some soft splatters and droplets of Jana's Jade Magicals around the wreath, and a few more of the Prima Gems. Beautiful!

1 teaspoon package of Country Buttonz
1 set of "Happy Day" Dotz

Wow! That's one super impressive kit!
The creative possibilities with this Color Kit are endless, but I wanted to create a page that featured all.the.things!!! Here's what I created,

"Explorer"

Whoa! How awesome is this?!
The January edition Color Kitz was perfect for documenting my lil explorer!
Think great outdoors, adventuring and lake life! So cool!
You'll spy that I even added one extra color to the mix - Ultra Marine Shimmerz! This stunning hue of deep blue coordinated beautifully with the greens and grays of the January Kit! Love it!
Here's a closer look at my layout......

Yep, this is one super cool page for my little guy!
As soon as I saw the Forest cut file created by Paige Taylor Evans, I knew I would create a masculine layout! If you look closely at my darling boy's photo, you'll notice that his top has a very similar design on it! Awesome!

To create this layout, I began by filling sheets of paper with all the kit colors. While they were drying, I prepared the cut file. I cut it in plain white cardstock, and removed some of the cut pieces, while keeping others intact. The mix of inset and paper backed sections really added interest to the cut file.
The inset sun rays are left untouched, but I used the neutral For Shore Creameez to paint the mountain peaks and clouds....

Simple, but so effective!
The remaining sections of the sun are backed with the paper which I painted with Sheer Bliss Inklingz, and the mountains are backed with the new Silver Fox Shimmerz. SO good! La la love this new Shimmerz!

The trees are mostly backed with varying depths (paint coats) of Into The Woods Vibez, except for one which I backed with Sage Advice Shimmerz for a point of difference and interest. Here's a closer look at them....

Trees 1,2 & 4 are Into The Woods Vibez and tree 3 is Sage Advice Shimmerz. Such gorgeous colors!
I added in the Ultra Marine Shimmerz for the water element of the cut file, and I'm so glad I did! This bright pop of color adds just enough playfulness to the design without distracting from the beautiful January Color Kitz colors.
Before I adhered the Forest cut file to the Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Boys Rule pattern paper, I added lots of inky droplets, splatter and brush strokes to the pattern paper with the Before Dawn Vibez. Once dry, I foam mounted the cut file, and glued it to the inky base.

I have used the Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Boys Rule collection to embellish my page too, but it's those Happy Day Dotz that won me over! Aren't they fabulous?! I couldn't help myself, & used all of them to adorn my photo with! Yes, that good!
You'll also spy that I layered my photo cluster onto one of the journaling tags, and sprinkled a few of the teeny tiny buttons around the page. Told you I used all.the.things!

Such a cool kid page!
You can see how it all came together in my process video below....

Thanks so much for watching!
I hope I have inspired you to get creating today!

Elle's Studio: Love You Lots Stamp Feature!

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more Elle's Studio awesomeness!
Today I am shining the product spotlight on the fabulous new, Love You Lots Stamp!
As always, the Elle's Studio stamps have my heart!
I mean seriously, Elle's Studio stamps are simply the BEST!
I get so excited for the stamp release every month - SO good!
But enough of the chatter, here's that amazing stamp in action with my latest layout,

"Love You"

Other: Machine Stitching, Scrapbook.Com Hybrid Premium Inks - Black & asstd. colors, Bazzill Basics Avalanche Cardstock.

Oh my heart! Love You Lots, indeed! What a terrific stamp set! From the fabulous hand drawn heart icons to the labels, phrases and sentiments, this stamp certainly has it all! I couldn't resist getting a bit inky and created a super sweet page of me and my true love!

Here's a closer look at my scrapbook page....

Isn't this just gorgeous?! Those hand drawn hearts inspired me to create a hearts on hearts design, and once I got stamping I just couldn't stop!
As my photo was black and white, I knew I could opt for any color scheme, and the pretty striped paper from the Love Is 6 x 8.5" Paper Stack was to good to refuse! It totally dictated the colors I chose to stamp with and gave me all the feels!
(Who doesn't love a rainbow of hearts, right?)
I trimmed my cardstock down to 11" x 12" and then butted strips of this awesome striped paper down the sides of my layout.

Next, I took a few of my fave coordinating ink pads and stamped up a variety of both the solid and hand drawn hearts. I fussy cut them out, and organized them into color order in accordance with the Love Is paper.  I then arranged them onto my cardstock base in a large heart shape. Rather than gluing, I machine stitched these hearts into place so that I could fold back the hearts to create a 'wing-like' dimensional effect. I just love how effective this looks!

In keeping with the orderly design, I then repeat stamped a mix of the sentiments to fill the inside of the large heart. I loved how this looked, but to break up the monotony of the stamped words & add more visual appeal, I also added the occasional color coordinating sticker.

The mix of textures, in particular the combination of the puffy stickers, the leatherette stickers and the stamped and folded hearts really added that 'extra' something to this fun and playful design!
With so much color in the stamping, I wanted to keep my photograph simple and understated. I decided to avoid backing it with colorful paper, and instead just layered it over the fabulous larger stamped heart.

I embellished my photo with a sticker or two, but otherwise left it pretty plain so it would stand out against all that delicious inky color! Perfect!

For finishing touches and a polished look, I added the black sentiment La La Love You Puffy Stickers around the exterior of the large heart. Last but by no means least, I had to add some journaling with our amazing Love You Lots Stamp! Striking black ink ensured that this journal spot was easily identified and bold in its intention. Love it!

Bright & beautiful stamping for the win!
I hope I have inspired you to get a lil inky with the fabulous Love You Lots Stamp!
