Now, onto my pretty project....

"Hello, Love"

Sigh! SO pretty!!!
For the love of florals and pinks and all the pretty things - this collection is just divine!

Such a beautiful collection for documenting my darling daughter with!
I instantly fell in love with pattern paper THIS STORY and knew I would have to fussy cut it! To make it even more amazing, it has a coordinating stamp & die set which I have also featured in my layout too!
The clear stamp is called Celebrate Today, & I inked mine in permanent black ink before hand coloring the florals with the following Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors: Candy Apple, Bubblegum, Clementine, Sunshine, & Key Lime.
Such a beautiful stamp set!
I am so happy with how these florals turned out - it's hard to pick which florals are mine and which are the manufactured die cut ephemera ones! LOVE it!

I also couldn't resist that stunning floral pattern paper, PROGRESS. The repeat watercolor floral print works beautifully with my design, and of course those Celebrate Today stamped images!

As well as the Celebration stamps and die cuts,  I also included some sewing machine stitching & those stunning Pinkfresh Studio: Essential Jewels for soft texture and interest.

Celebration is such a beautiful collection!

Please watch me create this lovely scrapbook layout in my process video below, or alternatively, you can watch in Full HD on my channel by clicking HERE.

Technique Tuesday: August Memory Keepers & Fresh Cut Studio

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more stamp-endous fun with the
August Memory Keepers & Fresh Cut Studio new release from

This month's featured stamp - The Story

How awesome is this?!
Such a terrific stamp for all types of memory keeping - think pocket pages, TN pages, memory planners & more!

And let's not forget this month's featured die - Small Numbers Crafting Dies

Small Numbers Crafting Dies

How cute 'n' fun!

Here's what Technique Tuesday have to say about this fabulous crafting bundle...

"The Story stamp set and Small Numbers crafting die bundle will help you get that documentation on your page layouts. List details of pictures using the prompts who, what, when, where and why from the journaling stamp set with numbers from the set of dies. You can add dates beside your photos using the small circle dies with numbers inside them. With two different sets of journaling line stamps you can keep your story brief or tell the entire tale.
If you like making bullet journals, this set of stamps and dies for making lists will give you tiny number dies and line stamps to create those lists. And this versatile stamp and die combo for journaling would also be terrific for documenting adventures in a travel notebook. Remember...it's important to tell your stories!"

Now I know you're probably thinking I'd use these items to make a few pages for my CTK Life Crafted Album or Traveler's Notebooks, but I wanted to demonstrate the versatility of these products, and make them work for my style -
 so I opted for a 12 x 12 scrapbook layout!

Here's what I created...

"Here Is The Story"

Oh.Em.Gee! How amazing is this?!!
Such a different look for these stamps & dies, and yet oh-so effective!
Here's a better look.....

Yep. Pure Awesome!!!
I've combined these stamps and dies with the Pinkfresh Studio Just A Lil Lovely collection & Liquid Watercolors in Sapphire, Aquamarine & Sky Blue. Such a terrific combination!

I stamped The Story ruled lines stamp beneath the pattern paper banner strips in a mid-blue ink, to add emphasis and interest to my photo cluster. I love the alternative use of this stamp - so cool!

In the top section of my layout, I repeat stamped the stars, and numerals from The Story stamp in varying shades of blue ink. I love how it looks over the Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolor base! SO good!

I used black ink for the title and journaling on the page, as well as the arrow icons. I found the black ink to be more striking and ensured my sentiments didn't get lost amongst the rest of the mixed media base.

For the Small Numbers Crafting Dies, I used a mix of both smooth white cardstock & cork. I cut the plain 'spot' die in white card, and foam mounted these spots throughout the page for added interest and dimension. I featured the cork numbers around my photos to bring order and sequence to my photo cluster & journal spots.

Bold, striking and oh-so Cool!!!

Simple creating made awesome with the August Memory Keepers & Fresh Cut Studio products from Technique Tuesday.

Thanks so much for visiting,

WOW! Embossing Powder Creative Guest - Fabulous layout!

Hi Creatives!

Welcome back for my second official post as a Creative Guest Designer for

WOW! Embossing Powder Blog

WOW Embossing Powder!

Yippeeee & lucky, lucky me!
If you missed my previous Creative Guest post earlier this month, you can check it out on their blog HERE.

For today's project I am focusing on incorporating more Glitter Embossing and Sparkles into your scrapbook layouts.
Here's what I'm talkin' 'bout.....

"Fabulous"

Oh how super cute & playful is this?!!
So much glittery goodness here!
You'll spy Black Twinkle, & Totally Teal Embossing Glitters, as well as those super sparkly, Celebration Sparkles!
Here's a closer look at my layout....

Aboslutely darling!
And the best part? Well, it's super fun (& really easy) to recreate!
Here's how....

Start with stamping the Pinkfresh Studio Heart & Soul Stamp set with the WOW! Embossing Pad, and then coat the images with WOW! Embossing Glitter in Black Twinkle.

Use your WOW! Embossing Heat Tool to heat and set the Glitter Embossing Powder.

Use the Heart & Soul coordinating metal die to precisely cut out the embossed image.

(You will be amazed by the Black Twinkle Embossing Powder - see the close up below!)

Black Twinkle, indeed! Just look at that glittery result! SO incredibly beautiful!

Next, stamp up the owls, birds and butterflies from the Pinkfresh Studio Playful Animal Friends 1 stamp set, with the WOW Embossing Ink Pad. Sprinkle with WOW Embossing Glitter in Totally Teal, and heat set with the WOW Embossing Heat Tool.

Be still my heart!!! Ga ga gorgeousness!
This may a new favorite color of mine - so divine!!!

Fussy cut the embossed images to create your own glitter ephemera die cuts.

Trim white cardstock to 11" x 11" and then use Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors in Sky Blue to paint a small circle in the center of the layout. Add a few gentle flicks of paint splatter around the circle too!

You can see the Sky Blue Liquid Watercolor is a beautiful match with the Totally Teal!
SO pretty!!!

Attach the white cardstock to the Joyful Day 12 inch pattern paper called, Perfect Moment. This creates a soft border trim &looks really effective. Foam mount the Heart & Soul embossed image and tuck a framed photo beneath it. Embellish around the 'circle' with the Totally Teal Playful Friends. Add a Joyful Day ephemera tag and sentiment beneath the circle, and embellish with more of the Totally Teal Friends!

For finishing touches, and that added WOW'Em factor, apply Celebration Sparkles to the layout....

The perfect glitter finish!
To hold my Sparkles in place I applied a clear, fast drying glue sparingly around the design and sprinkled the Celebration Sparkles over the top.

Add the layout title, I chose fabulous from the Joyful Day Puffy Phrase Stickers pack.

Thankyou for making everything around me beautiful,
Thank YOU for joining me today!

I really hope I have inspired you to incorporate the beautiful Glitter Embossing Powders into your memory keeping crafts!

And a super big thankyou to WOW! Embossing Powder for inviting me to be their Creative Guest this month!
I just adore the products and can't wait to share more inspiration with them!

'til next time,
