Elle's Studio: Product Focus: Grateful For This Printables

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more Elle's Studio September Kit and new releases inspiration!

Today I am shining the product spotlight on our amazing Grateful For This Printables

The monthly printables offered by Elle's Studio are so incredibly versatile, and offer a lifetime of creative uses and possibilities! I can't get enough of them, but enough chatter, here's what I've created with them today...

Oh how cute 'n' fun! Love, indeed!

Other Supplies: White Bazzill Cardstock, white tissue paper.

When using the monthly printables, I always look for journal cards that would make for great pattern paper backgrounds, and smaller details that can be fussy cut to create my own embellishments with.  That's exactly how I created this sweet Fall themed page!

I trimmed my white cardstock down to 8.5" x 11" so it would fit into my home printer, selected journaling tag 04 and printed it as a full size photograph. Voila! Instant pattern paper to scrapbook & craft with! Such a fantastic way to maximize the printables to work for more than just pocket page creating!  The plaid pattern design in the Fall colors is really beauti-Fall too, just sayin'!

While I had my home computer & printer still on, I proceeded to print off a mix of different sized journal cards - in particular, lots of journaling tag 05. I did this so that I would have a variety of hearts for my embellishments.
I used journaling tag 01 & 03 from the Grateful For This Printables to back my sweet boy's photo with, and then for a bit of texture & interest, also added some torn tissue paper scraps to the layers as well.

I foam mounted my layered photograph directly onto my freshly printed pattern paper, and then started on fussy cutting out all the hearts from journaling tag 05. The variance in sizes really does create the illusion of having more ephemera pieces. Another great way to get more from your printables!

I positioned the hearts across the top of the plaid trim, and tucked some beneath, in and on my photo cluster. I was mindful to 'hide' some of the printed words to give the illusion of more hearts. This also aided in making more of a focal point, and subtitle, of the hearts where the printed words were still visible.

Across the base of page, I also added a row of hearts on the edge of the plaid trim. This time, I cut some of the hearts into half to create the look of them being tucked under the plaid pattern paper, while others I glued over the plaid edge. The combination of 'under and over' really creates interest, and helps to anchor my overall page design. I fussy cut the word 'love' from journaling tag 05, and foam mounted it over the large gray heart to form my layout title. Simple, but so effective! For finishing touches, I added a couple of typewriter sentiments, a few silver sequins and those fabulous Wood Veneer Circles. The veneers add warmth and balance to my page, and well, they just look super cool!

Simple, beautiful creating with our gorgeous Grateful For This September Printables!
And if you're thinking that this was just a one-off, I was actually so impressed with this month's printables that I used them to create ALL my Elle's Studio projects this month!
Here's a little more inspiration to close with....

Make some magic today with the Grateful For This September Printables!

So, rather than miss out on sharing some Elle's Studio love with you all, I thought it might give me an opportunity to shine the product spotlight on the incredible
So here goes....

My first scrapbook layout is a sweet 12 x 12 page,
"Lots of Love"

Oh how sweet is this?!!

Other Supplies: Bazzill Cardstock - Avalanche, machine stitching, sequins.

I printed the Grateful For This Printables directly from the PDF, & then also printed the Journaling Tag 05 at A4 size. I fussy cut out all the hearts, the labels and even the sentiment, 'Love You Lots', and then added some extra die cut hearts with the Bright Polka Dot papers & the Love You Lots Metal Die.

I arranged all my die cuts onto the layout in a vertical design, and then machine stitched them into place.

I layered my foam mounted photograph onto the main, green heart and sprinkled sequins for finishing touches. Simple, minimal and yet so effective! Love it!

My second layout is a cute 8.5" x 11" page,
"Filled With Joy"

So cute!

Other Supplies: Bazzill Cardstock - Avalanche, machine stitching, gold foil photo corners, & jewels.

Let's take a closer look....

This is so fresh and fun!
This time, I printed Journaling Tag 01 at A4 size, and used some of the remaining PDF prints too!
Like my previuos page, I combined a mix of fussy & die cuts to maximise the Grateful For This Printables.

Those layers are so good!

And let's not forget that amazing,  Love You Lots Metal Die! Awesome!

"Magical"

Sigh! Such a beautiful page for my darling girl!
Magical, indeed!

Altenew Supplies: Enjoy The Ride 12 x 12 Paper Pack, Enjoy the Ride - Blooming Ephemera, Enjoy the Ride - Bouquet Builder Ephemera & Shades of Purple Enamel Dots.
Other Supplies: White Cardstock & tissue paper.

The Enjoy the Ride collection is really somethin'!
Let's take a closer look...

Sooooooo pretty!
I instantly fell in love with pattern paper, HAZY, and just had to make a feature of it!
I combined it with the B side of paper, BLUSTERY, to form the top section of my design. I distressed both papers to add both texture and interest to my design.

The dark leaves and red spots from pattern paper HAZY encouraged me to use coordinating ephemera pieces from both the Blooming and Bouquet Builder Ephemera sets. I layered these pretty pieces around my sweet photo, creating more texture by bending up the petals and leaves, and foam mounting some of them as well. I love how effectively they frame my photo, and draw attention to my darling girl's picture too!
Speaking of her picture, I layered it onto a base of torn white tissue paper from my stash, and tucked in the magical sentiment beneath it. Both sentiments featured on my page are from the Blooming Ephemera pack.
To balance my design, I trimmed the base of my page with a distressed strip of pattern paper, BLUSTERY, & created a smaller embellishment cluster in the bottom right hand side.

Isn't that butterfly the sweetest?!
For finishing touches, I scattered a few of the Altenew Shades of Purple Enamel Dots around my photo and embellishment clusters.
Simple & Elegant.
Oh so beautiful creating with the new Enjoy the Ride Scrapbook Collection!

I hope my project has inspired you to get creating with this stunning new collection!

Elle's Studio: August Kit & Stamping Inspiration!

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more Elle's Studio August Kit awesomeness!
With so many gorgeous items available this month, I just had to keep creating with them - or maybe it was more like, I just couldn't stop - ha! Seriously, that good!
But enough of the chatter, here's my latest scrapbook page,

"Big Smiles"

Oh.my.heart!!! La la love this color scheme - so pretty for my sweet & happy girl!

Other Supplies: White Bazzill Cardstock, Black Sequins, Red/Purple&Black Stamping Ink.

Such a fun and happy page!
Let's take a closer look....

Those layers are errrything!!!
I mixed note cards from both the August Kit & the Priorities Printables to create that eye catching stack beneath my cute photo. I tucked in an August Label or two, as well as a die cut and some of A New Day Stickers. Sweet!

Beneath my photo stack, is a one inch trim of one of the Summer Fun pattern papers. I enhanced this trim with a mix of August Labels, Composition Stickers, A New Day Stickers, Puffy Hearts & a veneer or two! I loved how this looked, and decided to 'build' on it with a ton of repeat stamped hearts from the Shine Brighter Stamp, more puffy hearts, and even some of the fabulous Acrylic Hearts!

The Chipboard Tags sticker was perfect for my 'photograph notes', and while I had them handy, I just had to adorn my layout with 3 of those fabulous Chipboard Tags!
For finishing touches, I cut through all that sweet color with a few black ink stamped sentiments from the Shine Brighter Stamp & a sprinkle of black sequins.

Simple, but oh so beautiful!
You can see why I can't stop creating with this month's kit -

I hope my layout has inspired you today!

Hip Kit Club: July 2020 Hip Kits - Card Trio

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for some Hip Kit Club July 2020 Kits inspiration!
Today I am sharing a super sweet card trio with the stunning July 2020 Main & Embellishment Kits! My DT assignment was to create cards that included stamping, stitching & fussy cutting, yay! So.much.fun! I love to get a lil inky & couldn't resist focusing on the
This stamp set is so versatile and perfect for all kinds of crafty projects, but enough chatter, here's what I came up with......

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Aug22nd-Blog-01

Oh my heart! Could they get any sweeter?!! And talk about focusing on the Bring on the Sunshine stamp - wow! That tiny lil stamp has made a very big debut on this card trio! Creating your own custom pattern papers from stamps is such a fun, easy & effective technique to incorporate more stamping into your creating.
To keep my cards looking like a coordinating set I maintained a similar design & focal point. Each card features a foam mounted, stamped & machine stitched background with a dominant Crate Paper: Maggie Holmes Sweet Story Delights Dimensional Embellishment (rosette) in the bottom left hand side. I embellished each card with a Simple Stories: Kate&Ash Chipboard Sticker. For the fussy cutting element, I used florals from the Pebbles: Jen Hadfield Hey Hello: Happy Day paper on each card too! Other than these key design elements, each card has it's own unique look and feel. Let's take a closer look...

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Aug22nd-Blog-02

Sigh! Sooooo pretty! Shades of pink with mint & teal is a favorite color scheme of mine, and I  just had to use them for these sweet cards! I selected larger blooms from the fussy cut Happy Day paper, as well as some of the Echo Park Paper: Dive Into Summer Enamel Dotsto adorn these cards. Here's a close up view of them...

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Aug22nd-Blog-03

So sweet!
To create the card base, I trimmed the Pink Paislee: Any Many More paper #11to 8" x 6", and scored down the 4" mark to create a 4" x 6" card. On a 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" sheet of smooth white cardstock, I repeat stamped the camera icon in mint colored stamping ink & machine stitched around the edges. I foam mounted this pretty camera cardstock onto my card base to create some extra dimension and interest. I glued the large fussy cut bloom into place, and then layered the Sweet Story rosette in the left hand corner. The Kate&Ash Chipboard Stickerswere the perfect addition for my card sentiments, and the soft pink Enamel Dots completed the card. Simple, but oh-so-lovely!

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Aug22nd-Blog-04

I used the same approach for this darling card, only this time I used the B side of the gorgeous Dear Lizzy: Here & Now Hot, Hot, Hot paper for the base. I repeat stamped the picture perfect stamp in black ink, and added a few different embellishments. You'll spot the Pink Paislee: 5th & Monaco Mixed Embellishment sequins, as well as one of theSweet Story Sticker Book stickers - both from the July 2020 Embellishment Kit. So cool!

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Aug22nd-Blog-05

This card is actually my favorite from the trio - the rich, warm yellow stamped background makes me feel so happy! That Sun Shine stamp is errrrything!!! I used the same design principles as my two previous cards, but this time I opted for tiny fussy cut florals, with a larger Chipboard Sticker bloom instead. The Sweet Story butterfly sticker is a cute addition to this bright & happy card. Love it!

HKC-AmandaBaldwin-Aug22nd-Blog-06

And there you have it!
Simple, easy to create, but oh-so-pretty cards made with the gorgeous July 2020 Hip Kits!
I hope you'll give stamped, stitched and fussy cut featured cards a try!
Be sure to share them with us in the Hip Kit Club Facebook Group HERE - I can't wait to see what you'll create!

Today I am sharing not one, but 4 gorgeous projects for

Here's what I created with the March Memory Keepers release....

"Happy, Happy, The Best"

Oh how pretty!!!
Such a soft and sweet page to document my darling girl with!
Let's take a closer look....

Inspired by the colors in my photograph, I repeat stamped both the Happy sentiment, and heart & star icons in pink and purple inks. Love how this looks!

I used the Best Words Crafting Dies with some glitter cardstock to create those tiny silver hearts, stars and 'the best' title. The silver glitter cuts through the sweet colors and adds both balance & interest to my design.

Simple creating, but oh so beautiful!

Next up is a layout created using the April Memory Keepers Studio Set:

Wow! What a gorgeous set!
These stamps & dies are really quite versatile, and could be used for a variety of projects.

Here's what I created with the Love Grows Here Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies Bundle ,

"I love Watching You Grow"

Nawww! What a cutie!
& what a super fun way to record our growing pup!
Let's take a better look....

Oh how sweet!
For this layout I kept my stamping clean and bold with striking black ink. This made my title, and subtitles easy to identify & read.

For the coordinating dies, I used a mix of pattern papers from the Pink Paislee: Paige Evan's Bloom collection.
(& let me tell you, they cut like butter! SO good!)

Technique Tuesday stamps are always so crisp and I just love how they make my layouts pop!

Stamped perfection!

Super cute!

Could it get any sweeter than this?!
The May Memory Keepers Studio Set is perfect for documenting my two cherubs with!
I've combined these products with the fabulous Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Unforgettable collection to create this stunning page!
I have used a mix of pink, purple and mint inks for my stamping, & combination of both pattern papers and cardstock for the coordinating dies. So good!
Let's take a closer look......

Those die cuts are divine!!!

And the stamps are so crisp & clear!!!

Absolutely stunning!!!

And last, but by no means least, here's my scrapbook inspiration with the

Clearly this bundle set is perfect for documenting our current "stay home" crisis, and a great way to reflect on what's happening right now.

Here's what I created with this Stamp & Die Set Bundle,

"Covid Hair, Don't Care!"

Ha! Well, not sure if this was 'memory keeping worthy', but it certainly is a reflection of day to day life during this pandemic.
For this page, I used a mix of colored inks and repeat stamping, as well as some peach cardstock for my house & heart die cuts.

As always, the sentiments stamp so precisely and are a joy to use!
Here's a closer view...
