 Hi Creative Friends!

Welcome back for more Elle's Studio awesomeness with the fabulous March 2021 Kit and new release items!

March 2021 Exclusive Kit

I.can't.even!!! SO good!

Spring, Easter and well, just bright, happy days!

March New Products

Gorgeous, right?!
But it's this next reveal that I'm gasping over....

Hip, Hip Hooray!!!
Did you know that Elle's Studio are celebrating their 14th birthday?!
It's one big, bright & beautiful party this month!
And as a special birthday gift to you, all current and new subscribers will receive a FREE Elle's Studio pen with their March Kits! Yayyy!

& let's not forget the amazing March Digital & Printable Products

Wow!
Every month just impresses me, and March is no exception!

The birthday theme gave me all the party feels, so I just had to create this party on a page....

"Good Times"

How awesome is this?!!
SO.much.fun!

Other Supplies: Smooth Bazzill Cardstock - Coconut Swirl, sewing machine stitching and cotton threads, and teal gemstones.

Told you it was like a party on a page! So many fun details!
Speaking of details, here's a few close ups for you...

For the love of embellishments!!!

To enhance the party feel, I trimmed the 3 x 4" March Kit note cards into cute banners! Such a simple idea, but I really love how effective it looked!

And how could I resist this embellishment cluster?! SO gorgeous!!!

For my second layout, I decided to finally document Easter 2020 (or as we refer to it, the great chocolate b-lockdown, lol!)

"Happy Easter 2020"

Such a clean and simple design - kind of in keeping with the low 'iso' mood, and simpler lifestyle.

Let's take a closer look...

How fabulous is that Happy Easter veneer?! LOVE!

The Large Acetate Numbers are pretty cool too!

That bunny is the cutest!

And there you have it!
Simple, beautiful creating with the new Elle's Studio March Kit!

I'll be back a lil later this month to share some birthday themed projects too!
til then,

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Technique Tuesday: February Memory Keepers & Fresh Cut Studio Inspiration!

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more Technique Tuesday inspiration!
This month's Memory Keepers & Fresh Cut Studio release is a really fun one!

How awesome are these?!! So.much.fun!!!

Here's what Technique Tuesday has to say about them....

"Emojis are a great way to communicate how you feel...without using words! With over 18 expressions, the Emojis stamp set with matching dies can add a bit of humor to your paper craft projects. With this emoji stamp and die bundle you can die cut a solid 1" circle and layer die cut emoji faces over it, or stamp an emoji face on it. You could custom stamp a background for a card or scrapbook layout with a variety of emoji faces, then add a few dimensional emoji die cuts to drive home the true feeling. Another fun use for these clear emoji stamps with dies would be to make a chore chart for your kids and let them glue pre-made emoji die cuts in the square each day...a smile for a job well done, a sad face when they forget, or a straight face for a job that needs more effort. You'll find so many ways to use these icons that are such a part of our daily lives!"

Clearly a super cute set to create cards with, but of course, I wanted to share how you could incorporate the Emojis Stamps & Crafting Dies into your memory keeping projects!
Here's what I came up with....

"All Heart Eyes"

Nawww!!! All the heart eyes, indeed!
Such a sweet traveler's notebook page documenting our darling doxie pup!
Here's a closer look for you....

You'll spy that I repeat stamped the 'smile' (semi circle) stamp to create my scallop trim on the top and bottom of my white cardstock. Such a super cool, alternative use of this stamp!
I also stamped the 'This photo makes me' sentiment label in the same mint colored ink, and tucked it under my photo to create the appearance of a photo tab.

I used the heart eyes Emojis Crafting Dies to embellish beneath my photo and add a playful element to my design!

SO cute 'n' fun!

Sigh! Isn't this just the prettiest?!!

Other: Bazzill Avalanche Cardstock, doily, twine & sequins.

Here's a better look at my layout....

Oh, it couldn't get any sweeter!
I started this layout as a Traveler's Notebook page, but as I continued to create, it evolved into this super sweet 8.5" x 11" page. I just love how this turned out!
The new Flourish pattern papers are absolutely gor-jus, and that floral one had my heart! I combined it with its' coordinating die cut and notecard from the March Kit, and built my design around these pretty pieces (perfect for my darling girl's photograph)!

How awesome are the new Black Typewriter Cardstock Alphabet Stickers?!!
I am loving these fun new alphas!
A terrific addition to all your crafty projects!

And speaking of loving, how good is that layered note card?!
Pocket cards never looked so pretty!

Grow & bloom my darling girl!

Such a sweet and pretty page to document her with!

My second layout is one for my cool boy's album...

"Come FLY with me"

Total.awesome.sauce!!!

Other: Bazzill Avalanche Cardstock, Permanent Black Ink, staples & twine

Here's a better look...

Wow!
It doesn't get any cooler than this!
Such a fun and playful page for my Mister A for Awesome!
I've layered a few of the  March 2020 Kit notecards together to create a focal point around my photo, and embellished with those super cool  Go See Do Acetates

I really couldn't resist making a feature of those incredible Wood Veneer Adventure Tags & the Black Typewriter Cardstock Alphabet Stickers too!

I scattered the Word Circle Stamp & the Tiny Shapes & Dots Puffy Stickers around my layout for added interest!

Yep. It's super awesome creating with the March 2020 Kit

CTK: Life Crafted Kit: 3 To Inspire!

Hi Friends!

Welcome back for more Citrus Twist Kits: March Kit inspiration!
Today I am sharing a few projects for the awesome 3-to-Inspire challenge

Before we get started here's the 3 things you'll need to feature in your projects to play along;

1. Use pattern paper. There are so many gorgeous designs in both kits this month - so use them up!

2. Include chipboard embellishments. Again, there's a vast array of these in both kits!

3. Add Die Cuts / Ephemera. An easy one to keep things light hearted, &  just get you creating!

Now, onto the good stuff!
Firstly, here's what I've created with using my Life Crafted Album & March Life Chapters Kit!

Sigh! Sweet dreams, indeed!
Such darling pages & a great design to showcase that fabulous pattern paper!

Here's a closer view....

On closer inspection you'll spy that I have also used the 3 x 8" book mark as part of my page base too! The vintage appearance of this book mark softens the boldness of the pattern paper, and also adds a more masculine feel to the page!

The chipboard sentiment circles, combined with the star ephemera are the perfect finishing touch!

I also created a new 'tabbed' section for my Life Crafted Album using the March Life Chapters Kit too.....

Sigh! Isn't this pretty?! I instantly fell in love with that floral paper and knew I'd make a real feature of it! The cream scalloped pocket is also a fave of mine from this month's kit!
(Especially as I love hidden journaling and interactive album pages!)

& speaking of interactive elements, the "Did you ever hear the story of..." journal card is the BEST prompt card for this new section of my Life Crafted Album. A place to record all life's little chapters & stories!

The hearts are such a soft take on chipboard stickers, and really add an elegant touch! Beautiful!

Next up is a super pretty layout that I've created using the March Scrapbooking Add On Kit

"Happy"

Oh!!! Such loveliness!
You'll spy pattern papers Happy Place & Good Times from the Pinkfresh Studio Everyday Musings collection. I may be a lil biased when it comes to Pinkfresh Studio, but this line really has my heart! Oh.so.pretty!!!
To showcase more of these gorgeous pattern papers, I also fold up the edges to reveal the B sides....

I layer & embellish this page with lots of the Everyday Musings ephemera too!
For the chipboard element, you'll spy more of those exclusive ones from the March Life Chapters Kit, as well as a chipboard frame from the February Scrapbooking Add On Kit.

Such a gorgeous photo cluster!
Love it!

And there you have it!
Three very beautiful projects for today's 3-to-Inspire challenge!
I hope you'll join me and play along!
Don't forget to share your CTK projects with us in the Citrus Twist Kits Facebook Fan Page HERE!
We really love seeing what you create and love to talk all things paper craft!
Thanks so much for visiting today!

Here's a better look.....

 So gorgeous!!!

Such lovely layers!

Next up is this sweet 8.5" x 11' layout featuring the Prettiest Pomander Stamp Set & Die

"You Are So Special"

Layered stamps are SO amazing, & just look at how detailed that posy is!
So incredibly beautiful!
Here's a closer look at my layout.....

Prettiest Pomander, indeed! Absolutely gor-jus!!!

Next up, I have two very detailed layouts featuring the Rennie Roses Stamp Set & Die.
The first is called,

"Remember That Day"

Wow!!!
The leaves and foilage pieces in this set are so impressive that I wanted to feature them without the roses.
Here's a closer look....

Isn't this divine?!!
I love this so much!

And my second layout with the Rennie Roses Stamp Set & Die is this pretty number,

"Dance Like No One Is Watching"

Oh.my.heart!!!
The Rennie Roses Stamp, Die & Mask Stencil Set would have to be my absolute favorite from this release!!!

Simply stunning!!!

And last, but by no means least, is this bright & playful page,

"Life Of The Party"

Bold, bright, pops of color!
I combined the Rennie Roses Die Set with the Shades of Love, & Shades of Friendship stamps to create this super fun page!

So.much.fun!!!
