Paper Issues: March Old School Challenge

Hi Creatives!

Welcome back for a new month of Paper Issues awesomeness & super fun challenges!
Today I am sharing my take on the new challenge....

This challenge is so fun & easy to play along with! Simply use B&W photo in your project!
I LOVE using black and white photos - a lot!
Here's what I created for this challenge.....

"Cherish"

Oh isn't this pretty!!!
I love the combination of white, peach & cork! Just gorgeous!
I have used the stunning new Crate Paper Good Vibes collection for this layout, as well as the
The cut file looks like this......

So awesome, huh?
You can download it for FREE (no purchase necessary) HERE
There are sooooo many amazing free files in the store - be sure to grab 'em all!
But back to my layout....

*sigh* It's just so pretty!
I've used that gorgeous cork pattern paper Magic as my base, then layered it with white cardstock. The cardstock is given a light treatment with Shimmerz Paints: Paste-eez in Peach Fuzz  for a gentle mixed media touch!
The pretty peach paper is from the reverse side of pattern paper, Life Goals, and forms the perfect base for my cut file title, Cherish.
Here's a closer look for you.....

That cut file is perfecion!
The tiny butterflies are from an old Martha Stewart punch in my stash, as are the sequins and rhinestones.
How awesome is that gold glitter, pom pom frame?!!! SO stunning!

And speaking of stunning,
how beautiful is this black & white photo of my daughter and niece?
Just gorgeous!!!
I've layered that sweet framed photo onto a few Die Cut Ephemera pieces, and then onto that intricate doily from Studio Calico.
I then sneak a few stickers, and even that butterfly cut file, into the photo layers. Love it!

A foam mounted ticket forms the subtitle to the layout,
& I add that divine Charm to the base of the photo frame for finishing touches!
Such a pretty take on the Old School challenge!

I hope I have inspired you to play along!

Hi Creative Friends!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues awesomeness with
my share on a lil Scraplift Sunday inspiration!

I am always blown away by how incredibly aaah-mazing our Design Team members are,
so getting to scraplift them is such a thrill!
Today I am lifting this gorgeous layout from the insanely talented Mary Ann Jenkins.....

Awesome, huh?!!
This makes me smile and feel so happy!
And with that in mind, I have used the bright & fun

"Love You Tons"

Squeee! Isn't this super FUN!?!!!
I just adore the bright and playful feel of the Good Vibes collection!
As the original layout design was SO good, I didn't change it up much at all.
I do heart those super cute Pom Pom Frames!
Here's a closer look for you.....

Such beautiful captures of my two darlings - love this memory!
The Good Vibes is definitely what it's all about!

I've used the fabulous puffy script font Thickers for my subtitle, as well as lots of cute ephemera too!
I love the combination of gold glitter, textures and cork in this line - really contemporary!

You'll also spy a few pieces from the Chipboard Stickers sheet - these are always my fave Crate Paper items.

So much fun!
Sequins, and watercolor paint splatters complete my take on Mary Ann's inspiring original!
