Kraft+ Mustard Explosion Challenge

- Hello Yellow - 

Hi everyone!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my super quick take on the current 

Kraft+ challenge - Mustard Explosion

I know - I am sooooooo not a fan of yelllow, lol!

This is really out of my comfort zone, but it is meant to be a challenge after all !!!

Here's my take on it.....

"Totally Rad" 

Yep, a super simple design to balance all that yellow! 

Apart from the required Kraft & yellow acrylic, I've used lots of yummy products from 

Cocoa Vanilla Studio's Made Of Awesome collection 

& 

some super cool chippie stars from Imaginarium Designs.

Here's a closer look....

Love this boy! He really is Totally Rad!

How cool are the stickers, flair, tickets, and enamel dots?! 

A bit of stitching to bring it all together - and well that's my take on this 

very challenging colour!

Scrap The Boys: July Challenge

Hi Creatives! 

This month I've been really trying to squeeze in a challenge or two! 

Scrap The Boys is always good fun, & a perfect excuse to scrap more of my Mr A for Awesome! 

This month the challenge is to be inspired by the following mood board;

Here's what I came up with. ...

'BOY' 8.5" x 11" layout

Love this boy! He really is my lil super star!

& what a seriously cool page!

and a few Cocoa Vanilla Studio delights too!

How awesome id the ephemera?! I am real lover of  Crate Paper's ephemera!

Oooh & I spy a Charms Creations arrow embellie there too! 

And here's a closer look at those fabulous Cocoa Vanilla Studio yummies...

The stickers are the coolest - but it's that enamel star that gets me - just divine!!!!

Charm's Creations Mid Monthly Challenge: July

Hi everyone!

Seems like ages that I just scrapped for myself and joined in on a challenge!

The Mid Monthly Challenge over at Charm's Creations was far too fun to pass on! 

Here's what the challenge looks like.....

Cool, huh?! 

I decided to use the diagonal row,

"Something old, something new & journalling" 

See if you can spot them....

"M" layout 

Love this girl to bits! She really is my sunshine!

Isn't she the sweetest?!! 

Absolutely adore & admire my Miss M!

Lots of Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Open Book lovelies here - 

they're my 'something old'.  They've been sitting in my scrap drawers for a while now.... 

Probably because they're so pretty I can't bear to cut them up, lol! 

(& how awesome is the coordinating gold foil ephemera?!!)

& that very subtle paint in the background is my 'something new' - 

it's my new Distress Ink: Tattered Rose - looooooove this!

The journalling is a bit obvious,

 but I will draw attention to that fabulous Charm's Creations Heart - simply DIVINE!!! It really completes my page.

And there you have it, my take on this super fun challenge!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Lovely Beautiful Fabulous

Hi everyone!

Welcome back for more Cocoa Vanilla Studio deliciousness!

Today I am sharing more Hello Lovely inspiration!

This divine collection is just so perfect for all your feminine girly pages!

From oh-so-pretty papers to insanely cute embellies, wooden veneers, bows and sequins, Hello Lovely is just exquisite!

But let's allow my creation to do the 'talking'.......

Lovely Fabulous Beautiful

I know, just adorable isn't it?

She truly is the loveliest young girl too!

 The patterned papers just partner brilliantly in the Hello Lovely collection - so I combined 4 of them for contrast, balance and interest.

CV-HL001 - Delightful

The reverse side of "Delightful" is my background paper and it is so soft and light - it works wonderfully!

Imagine if you spun cotton candy through a kaleidoscope & that's the pattern you see on Delightful  - heavenly!

I have also featured both sides of this divine paper....

CV-HL002 - Glimmer

This fabulous paper is both soft & sophisticated all in one! Love it!

And just to bring my page together, I balanced all that girly prettiness with a light woodgrain print...

CV-HL003 - Confetti

My daughter is growing up far too quickly for me - so it's important that I capture and scrap her as much as I can!

Hello Lovely is such a balanced mix of pretty pastels and stylish patterns, that it suits my darling to a tea! Infact, I have even created a whole album of her with this collection already.....Yes, I love it that much!

Let's take a closer look to see why....

*sigh* I love pretty things! And the embellisments in Hello Lovely are truly that!

From coordinating die cute ephemera, to stickers, wooden veneers, metal charms & way too cute bows, Hello Lovely is the collection!

It really is a dream to create with such beautiful, high quality, boutique products!

Kaisercraft : Botanica Collection: One Happy Moment

Hi everyone!  

Hope you're having an awesome day!

Just wanted to quickly share this page I've created for Kaisercraft. 

The request was to create a masculine page using the very pretty (& feminine) Botanica Collection.

As you know, I love a good challenge!  

So here's my take. ...

'One Happy Moment'

Yep, challenge accepted! 

How super cool is this awesome boy?!! Love this!

I've gone for a more grungy / painty approach, & really picked up on the brown tones in the Botanica collection. 

Here's a closer look...

You make my heart happy (like you wouldn't believe!)

I've used the Polaroid Decorative Die (DD301) from Kaisercraft to highlight my image & added a few staples, thread and epoxy stickers to create interest,

That cool flair button is from Cocoa Vanilla Studio (they create such fun flairs!) but everything else on the page is Kaisercraft. 

A really cool - masculine - page using the new Botanica Collection!
