Pinkfresh Studio: Dream On....

Hi Everyone!
I am so super dee duper excited to be sharing my first creations for

This month the design team are spotlighting the stunning NEW
- Dream On -

I wanted to share how incredible & diverse this collection is by creating both a feminine and a masculine layout for today's post.
As my daughter is my first born we'll say ladies first!
Here's my super pretty girly page,

"XOXO"

Oh swoon!
You can't get much more dreamy than this! Pretty collection for a pretty girl!
Very little is needed to make a happy life, indeed!
I was immediately drawn to the pattern paper 'Fancy', and some easy fussy cutting! I love the slightly obscure geometric shapes in this design! I decided to use these pretty shapes as stepping stones to my beautiful photograph, and created a pretty pathway straight through the center of my page!
This vertical design, and clever use of white space really draws your eye into my layout, & that darling photograph. Love it!
Dream On is more than just fabulous pattern papers though!
The embellishments in this collection are just divine!
Let's take a closer look at a few of them.........

Omgoodness!!! Mirror sticker delights!
How awesome are those shiny reflective stickers?!! La la love them!
Every girl needs a bit of bling in her life, & the Gold Acrylic Mirror Stickers are the perfect option! Needless to say, the XOXO was always going to be used as my title for this layout ;)
I've also used the copper and mint Cardstock Alpha Stickers to personalise the layout with her initial too. Mint just happens to be her favourite colour - perfection!
That dove like birdy from the ephemera Cardstock Die Cuts, just sings happy thoughts, and adds to the playful nature of my design.
I can't move on without mentioning how cute the puffy stickers are!  SO cute!

Perhaps my newest favourite embellishments are the Leatherette Shape Stickers!
I just love that they're so delicate & detailed, despite being so textured. Awesome!
Dimensional Layered Chipboard StickersStudio Puff Stickers, Rubber Chips and Washi Stickers add that finishing touch to my layout. Love it all!
A super pretty array of colour, pattern and cool design!
Dream On is definitely dreamy for our sweet girls!
Don't be deceived though!
Dream On is also a lil edgy, fun and mischievous!
It totally rocks those boy albums too!

Here's my Mister Cool's layout,
"LIVE For The Moment"

Wild & Free - that's my boy for sure!
How awesome is this?!!
Talk about showcasing the diversity of Dream On! Uber cool!!!
That Cardstock Die Cut, 'LIVE for the moment' was such an ideal match for my boy and his antics! I used 3D foam dots to really make it pop.
I've been cutting up those pattern papers again!
This time I've used paper 'Reverie', as well as the stunning copper specialty paper, Spring Icons Foiled Vellum.
Similar to my first layout, I've used a vertical design, as well as the Studio Puff Stickers, Rubber Chips, Leatherette Shape Stickers, & Layered Chipboard Stickers but it is the Clear Stamp Set that really makes this layout sing!
Let's take a closer look....

Oh my! Those photopolymer stamps are literally the best!
My son is only young, so I didn't want my stamping to be too strong,
and in keeping with a fairly 'clean' look to my layout, I've intentionally lightly stamped a few of the sentiments around my photo clusters. The striped circle stamp was a bit cool, and perfect for using as the base to my photo layers. Subtle, but still adding that masculine edge!
To reflect his character, I added the cut apart cards from Reverie, to the left hand side of my layout & stitched them all into place....

Seeking adventure always! Lol!
As you can see Dream On is also a match made in heaven for our big dreaming, adventurer boys!
And there you have it!
A girl, a boy and the stunning Dream On collection!
I hope my layouts have inspired you!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Happy Summer Days!

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back for more Cocoa Vanilla Studio inspiration!
I am just loving the delicacy of the Endless Summer collection!
Summer has never looked so pretty!
And boy oh boy, do I have a pastel delight for you today!
Here's my layout,

"Happy Summer Days"

2017 CV ES 1

Told you it was pretty!!!
I've used a vertical design to compliment my photograph, and have layered those stunning patterned papers, BLUE SKIES (reverse side) CV-ES002 & COASTAL CHILL CV-ES004
Beneath my central section, I have also created a delicate watercolour splatter base, as well as using the Colour Me Happy cut files  to add more interest and draw your eye into my image. For gentle texture, I've stitched those pattern papers together, as well as used some cotton for 'floss' around my embellishment clusters.
Here's a closer look..........

2017 CV ES 3

The cutest wooden buttons - WOODIES - including a super cute flamingo but, oh! That FLAIR button!!! It's the same doily design as the Blue Skies pattern! Just a perfect adornment to my page!
Speaking of perfect, how gorgeous are the ENAMEL SHAPES ?! Those pastel pink hearts and dots are just so glossy! Love them!
I am also loving the WOOD VENEER shapes too....

2017 CV ES 4

That printed heart, 'love it' says it all!
But it's that gorgeous flamingo that makes the veneer soooooooo irresistible!
Here's a better look at it....

2017 CV ES 5

Yep! Flamingo LOVE! I just cant say no to the Flamingo!!!
How delicate and pretty are the BLOOMS that I've clustered with the flamingo too?!! That mint coloured one just makes me swoon! That colour is so fresh for Summer! And I love the softness in the Gerberra bloom....

2017 CV ES 6

It's just ALL so very pretty!!!
Everything about Endless Summer is soft, delicate and DIVINE! Love it all!
Hope my layout has inspired you to get creating with this super pretty collection too!

Paper Issues: Product Spotlight: Shimelle - Go Now Go

Hi Creatives!

Time for another Paper Issues Product Spotlight & today we're shining the light on

As you know, I bought and LOVED this collection when it was first released, so I didn't have much left to play with! But I love a challenge ;)

Here's what I came up with,

"Happy Good Day"

How awesome is this?!
I didn't have many papers left, but I did have a few embellishments - just love how this turned out!
And that larger photo is just divine! It makes it all work so well!
Let's take a closer look......

Glittered rose gold Thickers are always for the win! La la LOVE them!
And how about the layered stickers too?!!

So many stunning embellies!!! Those sweet puffy hearts are just too cute & fun!
And who doesn't love an enamel button or two?

I've used a stack of stickers on this layout too!
I bought the sticker pad, and seriously 10 layouts or so later, I still have stickers to use! Great value!

Gosh! Just look at those aaahmazing glitter Thickers! All.the.heart.eyes for these!

I used the patterned paper Stroll for my page base. I just love all the fun details on it!

So much fun indeed!

And there you have it!
Hope you loved my layout as much as I do!

Paper Issues: January Swag Bag

Hello Lovelies!
Welcome back for more Paper Issues delights with

I know I say this every month - but truly the Swag Bags are like bags of gold!
Hidden treasures that seem to last for ages!
I am still creating with the fabulous September Swag Bag - I know, there was just SO much goodness stashed in that bag!

Here's what I created....

"FUN"

And isn't it just FUN indeed!
As I was almost at the end of my bag, I have used a few extra items on my layout -  the cutfile is called Open Hearts and is a FREE download from the Paper Issues store, and I have also used some sequins, thread, watercolour splatter, & that cute bow.
Everything else you see is from the September Swag Bag!
WOW! Bag of gold for sure!!!

As most of my left over paper pieces were 3x4 cards, I used the cut file to make it appear like more.
You'll spy treaures from Maggie Holmes Gather collection, Shimelle: Go Now Go, Pretty Little Studio, Pinkfresh Studio & Paige Taylor Evans / Pink Paislee's Take Me Away line. So much pretty!!!
Let's take a closer look.....

How pretty are the pastel hues?!! I love how everything coordinates so beautifully!

I love the gold foil specialty papers from Pinkfresh Studio - I fussy cut that heart so it would better fit my page. Gorgeous!

The ephemera pieces in this Swag Bag are just too cute!
I even used the Pretty Little Studio tab strip on my layering.....

Yep. She's my pretty little happy place! Love her to bits!

And I hope you liked my take on Swag Bag inspiration!

Paper Issues: January Cut It Up

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends!

Time for another fabulous Paper Issues challenge!

I absolutely LOVE all the free cut files in the Paper Issues store!
No need to spend on cut files with so many awesome ones being created every month by our talented team!
And the cutfile for this challenge?
Well, it's all about farewelling 2016, & welcoming in the New Year of course!

Here's what it looks like....

Awesome!
You can instantly download this free file in the Paper Issues store here

Now you may remember that I used the top left 2017 file only a few days ago on my
Working Title challenge....

Love how this turned out!

However, to demonstrate how versatile this cutfile is, I decided to cut a variety of sizes of the snowflakes for this Cut It Up challenge.
Here's my layout,

"SNOW"

Brrrrr! Look at that frozen lil face! He was having snow-much fun! lol!
Seriously though, how awesome are those snowflakes?!!!
You'll notice I cut my largest one in half and used the halves to border my page.
To add interest to the snowflakes, I also added ice blue sequins and diamond gemstones.
Let's take a closer look.....

Naww! Totally the cutest!
I have used Crate Paper Snow & Cocoa collection for most of my layout.
The patterned paper background is from Crate Paper's Gather collection.
They combine beautifully, and I love the ephemera layers beneath my photo!

Those snowflakes were SO easy to cut, & yet they look so effective!

Love the wood veneer title too!

And there you have it!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Happy Little Moments!

Hi Creative Friends!
I have a super sweet layout using the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Make A Wish Collection to share with you today !
I just love the bright and happy hues in the Make A Wish line, and it was perfect for scrapping this pic of my daughter and I! But enough chatter, here's my layout,
"Happy Little Moments"
img_20161228_100044_803
How sweet is this?!!
It may be a birthday themed collection, but Make A Wish is so pretty, and versatile, that it works for the everyday moments too!
I just love a fun grid design, don't you? To add a bit more interest to mine, I used a lil mixed media and a whole bunch of fun embellishments!
Each patterned paper box has the sweet pink watercolour wash paper CV-MW002 HIP HOORAY as its base, and then either the woodgrain paper (reverse side of CV-MW001 FRESH CUT) or the pink polka dots (reverse side of CV-MW005 PARTY MIX). Such a pretty combination of papers! The white cardstock has been treated with a coat of gesso, & given a good smattering of shimmer mist and watercolour splats! Love the result! All the colours coordinate perfectly with that final backing layer, patterned paper     CV-MW003 PARTY DOTS
Let's take a closer look.....
img_20161228_100435_405
With the same pink watercolour wash as the patterned paper, that Chipboard Accent Sticker frame was an obvious choice for highlighting my photograph. I've also embellished the frame with another chipboard accent sticker with the sentiment 'Oh Hello"  - super cute!img_20161228_115551_529

I've layered my photo and frame with some cut file leaves from the Colour Me Happy Digital Cutfile collection, and then added Vellum Shapes leaves & butterflies, BloomsEnamel Dots and even some cotton thread for texture. The centrality of it all just draws you into my photo more - love it!
Here's another view (of the blooms in particular because they're sooooooo pretty!),
img_20161228_114628_010
Some gorgeous glittery Sparkles enamel dots and Oooooh that heart flair!
The flair is actually from the limited edition sets CV-LIM-1  There's only a few of these left in the store, so get in quick!!!
Lots of gorgeous Die Cut Ephemera pieces on this layout too.....

So many paper pretties! La-la-LOVE it all!
Even the Accessory Stickers are divine!
I mounted mine onto pop dots , and layered with a little cotton thread too - so very cool!
img_20161228_115657_000
And those vellum shapes! Oh-so-swoon worthy!!!
It's all just soooooooo pretty! Make A Wish is just perfect for scrapping a Mother & Daughter page ;)
Hope you feel inspired by my layout today,

Hi Creatives!

Get ready as Paper Issues rolls the dice for January!
This challenge is soooooo much fun!

This month the dice roll determined that we would need to use
4 Photos
4 Words for the title
for our scrapbook layouts.

Here's what I came up with....

"Don't Grow Up Kid"

Isn't this the coolest boy page?!!
Love this cool lil guy, and truly, I could keep him 4 til forever!
I've used Crate Paper's Cool Kid collection, limited edition flair from Cocoa Vanilla Studio, & another of the FREE cutfiles in the Paper Issues store.

The four word title, and the four photos made this quite an easy challenge to play along with!
I love that mosaic style triangles cut file - its supercool! You'll also spy some paper piecing & a watercolour mixed media background beneath it too!
Grab the free file here.

Lots of awesome embellishments too....
