Paper Issues: Golden Days Love with Amanda Baldwin

Hi Paper Issues Friends & Fans!

Welcome back for more papercrafting fun and inspiration!
Amanda here, & today I am sharing my latest layout with the stunning
Fancy Pants Designs - Golden Days collection.

Golden Days

Think all things Fall, golden, feathers, woodgrain, arrows and blooms - perfect for scrapping either of my darlings with!
But enough chatter, here's my latest layout with this stunning collection....

"LOVE"

Love this photo of my daughter! Such a beauty indeed!
And while we're talking beauty, isn't this layout something?!!
Those blooms won me over instantly - oh so pretty!
And the Autumn hues teamed with the mint green make my sigh!
There are just so many gorgeous elements to the Golden Days collection
&
in true Fancy Pants Designs style,
there's a ton of perfectly coordinating embellishments too!
Let's take a closer look....

Oh where to begin? So much lovely here!
Let's start with those divine puffy stickers -
I mean, hello sticker heaven! Can they get any prettier? And so glossy too!
Speaking of gloss, there are so many golden delights on this layout as well!
The leaf paperclips are quite intricate and the golden acetate ephemera is just plain awesome!

The cute tags were perfect for using beneath my photo, to create layering and interest.
The cork stickers added a textural element to this 'clean' look, and to be honest, they were just the coolest stickers and I HAD to use them!

A bit like those aaaahmazing alphas...

Talk about making your title 'pop'! These alphas are so easy to use, and come in the pattern paper designs! Love, love, love!!!

It's safe to say that Fancy Pant Designs Golden Days is all about the beauty!!!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Salty Kisses

Hi Happy Arty Friends!
Today I am sharing my very last Cocoa Vanilla Studio post for 2016!
What an exciting 12 months its been, with so many aaaahmazing Cocoa Vanilla Studio releases this year!
And 2017 promises to be even bigger and better again!!!
But for now, one last lil look at that gorgeous CVS Summer line, Endless Summer....
Here's my layout,
"Salty Kisses"
img_20161213_074741So beautiful!
Just how adorable can these two get?!!
And seriously, 'Every Summer' is the same  - our home is full of sand, shells, and salty beach kisses!
Needless to say, that journal card from the CV-ES005 THIS & THAT pattern paper was always going to feature on at least one of my Summery layouts! Such a perfect match!
I have also made a real feature of those fabulous Colour Me Happy digital cutfiles!
I cut the geometric heart out of my fave woodgrain paper, CV-ES001 SWEET TREATS (reverse side), and I cut the other files in plain white cardstock. The heart is partly paper pieced with soft pink tones from CV-ES002 BLUE SKIES (reverse side), CV-ES005 THIS & THAT, & CV-ES006 SUNBLEACHED. So many paper pretties!!!
Let's take a closer look......
img_20161213_200444
From the papers, to the embellishments and everything in between - Endless Summer coordinates so perfectly!!!
If you look carefully, you'll even spy that the 'salty kisses' journal card has a subtle hibiscus print on it - it's all about the details! And boy, do I adore this clever attention to detail!
Speaking of adoration, how fabulous are the Die Cut Ephemera pieces in this layout?!! I mean, flamingos and hibiscus blooms! Love, love, love!
There's also a gorgeous array of Woodies in the Endless Summer line, and I've used 3 for this page......
img_20161213_200305I've also used that sweet pink doily flair, which coordinates with that orange Woodie above it, & the paper piecing in the heart. Always about those small details!
I may have added a few mint enamel dots for good measure too.....
You can never have too many enamel dots, right?
img_20161213_200608
I really must mention those pretty Blooms too! A gorgeous array of mulberry flowers to adorn any pretty project! Too sweet!
The XO cutfile is backed with that fabulous Sunbleached pattern paper, and then embellished with an ephemera heart. You'll also spot a few Accessory Stickers on my layout too.....
img_20161213_200742
To make my photo 'fit' with all these embellishments and cutfiles, I've adorned it with Die Cut Ephemera pieces - including that sweet frame and subtitle, 'Summer Days'. I then added a few paper layers, and positioned that floral cut file beneath it all. Such a sweet photo!
As for that awesome background, well that's nothing more than a lil watercolour paint
& it only works so well because Endless Summer is soooooooo AWESOME!!!!
I hope my layuot has inspired you to get your crafty fingers on some Endless Summer delights too!
Thanks for stopping by today,
Wishing you all a safe and Happy New Year!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Best Fun Days Ever!

Hi Everyone!
Time for some Cocoa Vanilla Studio inspiration!
Today I am sharing another gorgeous, Summer fun layout of my two darlings at the beach!
Needless to say, I am using the stunning new Endless Summer collection for this layout.
Let's take a peak.....
"Best Fun Days Ever"
cvs-endless-summer-1
Isn't this the sweetest?!!
SO cute, so bright, so playful & FUN!!!
I just adore Endless Summer!
I have used three stunning papers from the collection, CV-ES004 COASTAL CHILL (mint stripe), CV-ES001 SWEET TREATS (reverse side - woodgrain), & CV-ES003 ALOHA SUNSHINE (reverse side - spots) to create my layered layout border - love how effective this looks! The left alignment really draws your eye across the page too!
To compliment the woodgrain paper, and to balance all that pastel sweetness I have used both the wood veneer words and those fabulous 'Woodies' buttons! Take a closer look......
img_20161203_163723
How gorgeous are the veneer script words?!! I ADORE them; such a whimsical font! The ephemera words feature the same font, but add more cheer with their colours! They partner perfectly to create my title!
And how about those sweet blooms.....
img_20161203_164248
Aren't they divine?!! So very beautiful!
That flair is pretty cute too! LOVING this indeed!
Here's another view of those blooms.....
img_20161203_164422
They make me swoon! Prettiness overload!
And those Puffy Stickers!!! I mean I could have a sheet of just that camera, it's so super sweet!!!
img_20161203_164602
You'll also spy a few delightful Accessory Stickersenamel shapes dots & that flamingo from the ephemera pkt. Love.it.all!!!
There's definitely no denying that Endless Summer is the most beautiful seasonal line.Ever!
Anyone else dreaming of mocktails and tropical island getaways?!!
And on that happy note, I hope this collection celebrates your
Best Fun Days Ever!

Paper Issues: December: Mix It Up Monday

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues Mixed Media Fun with
Mix It Up Monday!

This is one of my favourite challenges as we can get a lil messy too!
This month's challenge is use a black/white/grey palette with a 'pop' of colour AND use at least 2 different media on the layout. SO much fun!!!
As indigo is one of my absolute favourite colours, I decided to use Pinkfresh Studio's, Indigo Hills line for this challenge.
Here's what I created.....

"Everyday Has A Story"

Isn't this stunning?! I love how it turned out!
It's feminine, girly, & just a lil grown up too (a bit like my subject in the photograph)
She's grown up so fast!
I've also featured a cut file from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio, Colour Me Happy collection, as well as fussy cut flowers from the Indigo Hills collection.
For my mixed media elements, I've incorporated, watercolours, inks, & stamping into my layout.
Aren't those stamps fabulous?!! They're also from the Indigo Hills collection ;)
Love it all!
Here's a few close ups.....

How cool is that wood veneer clip?! Love the gold foil highlights too!
Lots of pretty ephemera here too.....

Cute heart puffy stickers and a coordinating heart stamp too! Very cool!
So much inky, stampy fun here....

And there you have it!

Paper Issues: December Sketchy Saturday

Hi Everyone!

It's time to get your sketch on with Paper Issues December edition of

Here's this month's fabulous sketch...

Cool, huh?!! I couldn't wait to play along!

Here's my layout, featuring the Dear Lizzy: Saturday Collection;

"Loved"

Nawww! How cute are these two!
There's a really special story about this particular School Day together - but as you know, I like to keep my journaling private. Their story is just for them - but I will say that these two are the very best of friends are so loved by one another!
Back to the sketch, I strayed a little with my circular cut file - but I think layering is up to personal interpretation anyways, lol! I really wanted to center them in that heart frame.
(Note: That file is a free one available in the Silhouette library)
Everything else, is Dear Lizzy Saturday and is in the Paper Issues store!
Here's a few close ups....

That clothes pin! So stinkin' cute!!!

Love me a lil gold foil......

Super sweet! Love this!
And I hope you did too!
