To celebrate this awesome event, I have created this stunning layout...

"Delightful"

So stunning, huh?!  A beautiful layout for my beautiful girl!
The combination of Lindys products & Imaginarium chipboards is truly a match made in heaven!
I used Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays in
Canna Lily Burnt Orange &
Opal Sea Oats
And...
I also used Lindys Stamp Gang Magicals in
Ramblin' Rose Pink &
Screamin' Banshee Black

  And

That incredible background has a few layers to it!
I started with mixing a lil Ramblin Rose Pink into my gesso and rubbed it into my woodgrain pattern paper. Next up, I squirted Canna Lily Burnt Orange into my texture paste, and applied that gorgeous Peonies stencil. The remaining layers are a combination of painted & splattered Screamin' Banshee Black, and Ramblin' Rose Pink Magical. LOVE the result! I may need a life time supply of Screamin' Black Banshee - it's just the most striking colour!!!
Here's a few close ups of my chippies, and how I treated them too!

These chipboard tags had quite a lot of love!
The larger one was sprayed in Opal Sea Oats, & while it was still wet, I scraped a tiny amount of powdered Screamin' Banshee Black Magical across it with a palette knife. Once dry, it was run through a bricks pattern embossing folder. The smaller tag was sprayed in Canna Lily Burnt Orange and embossed in a flourish pattern.
Here's another look at those gorgeous tags....

That sweet tiny title has also been sprayed in Opal Sea Oats. Love it!

Both the leaves and twigs have been inked in Archival Ink in black.
The Twigs have also had a quick spray in Opal Sea Oats to add a little golden sparkle to them.

Soooooooo very pretty!
Love it!

Hope you feel inspired by my layout!
Thanks so much for hopping by!
Don't forget to leave a comment to go in the draw to win a prize, & good luck!

Paper Issues: Pinkfresh Studio Indigo Hills

Hi Paper Issues Friends & Fans!

Today I am sharing a layout from one of the prettiest collections for 2016;

Indigo is one of my absolute favorite colours - but team it with baby pink, gold, red & florals and well...
I am in scrapbook heaven!
But enough chattering, you can see how pretty it is in my layout below...

"Beautiful"

Swoon!
I told you this collection was pretty!I literaly heart this one!
And just perfect for those darling photos of my beautiful girl too!
Those florals are just divine!
I was immediately drawn to the pattern papers, Blue Valley & Palisades & decided to use them in a layered, vertical design.
I LOVED using the specialty gold foil vellum paper, as well as rubber charms, puffy stickers & ephemera to embellish with! SO much pretty going on here!!!

Let's take a look at a few close ups.....

How cute is that rubber charm?! And the puffy heart stickers are so delicate!

\

I layered the floral ephemera to create a eye catching cluster beneath my photograph - lovely indeed!

Just too pretty!!!

As I have a fun vertical design for my layout, I applied my title on the vertical papers too! Love how effective this looks!

And there you have it! Prettiness overload with Indigo Hills!
I hope my layout has inspired you to get creating with this divine collection - you can purchase it here

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Hello Happy!

Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing a layout created for a recent Cocoa Vanilla Studio sponsorship of the challenge blog, Creative Scrappers.
Here's what the sketch looks like.....
cs-sketch-299
Fun, huh?!
As it's a sketch, the team didn't want all out layouts looking the same - so I chose to use the gorgeous
I love this collection! It is such a fresh & contemporary range, just perfect for my style!
Here's what I created with it....
"Hello Happy"
img_20160722_140744
Isn't this the prettiest?!! I love this collection - it's so versatile and can inspire on so many levels!
I decided to keep this layout quite modern and fresh; uncomplicated if you will, just like my beautiful subject in the photograph!
Oh, and how cool are the Digital Cut Files that belong to this collection?!! LOVING those cameras, so fun!!!
Let's take a closer look.....
img_20160722_140215
So many paper pretties and embellies on this layout!
I have used the paper, CV-CH004 DOODLE DANDY as my base layer, then added papers CV-CH003 PAISLEY PATCH & CV-CH005 LEAF LITTER to matte my photos onto. I've been totally inspired by the camera Flair Button, and as such have used hearts and cameras as the embellishment feature on my layout.
To cut through all the sweet pastel pretties, I have used the gorgeous script Wood Veneer Words as my title. LOVE them!
Here's another look.....
img_20160722_140412
Love that title!!!
Colour Me  Happy also features the sweetest Snip-Its! I've used some as an alternative to ephemera, and the others form subtitles and journaling. Awesome!
The second flair on my layout is that stunning geo heart, which coordinates perfectly with the Snip Its hearts  - it's so cute!
img_20160722_140553
How awesome are the Digital Cut Files in Colour Me Happy?!! If you have a digital cutting machine you NEED these files! They're so versatile and work with any of the Cocoa Vanilla Studio collections! You can get them here.
To give my layout a 'finished' look, I added a few Cool Enamel Dots and voila!
That's my take on the super fun Creative Scrappers sketch!
I hope you feel inspired to get creating with the fresh & contemporary

Paper Issues: Swag Bag Love!

Hi Creative Friends!

Time for a little Swag Bag love with Paper Issues!!!
Do you swag bag? It's kinda like a lil sampler goodie bag filled with scrapbook treats!
(or a mini kit if you like!)

I used the August Swag Bag for my layout today - you'll spy tasters of Pink Paislee's Take Me Away, Amy Tangerine Oh Happy Day, Dear Lizzy Saturday & even a bit of Crate Paper too! ;)

Each Swag Bag varies slightly but that's kinda the fun too!
A genuine surprise package everytime - Love it!!!
But enough chatter, here's what I created with mine!

"JOY"

Isn't this the sweetest?!
I picked up on the coordinating lemon and soft aqua in the mixed bag.
Such a delicate and pretty colour scheme!
Just so you know, the only items not from the Swag Bag are my cardstock, cotton thread, stencil & ink.
I know,  that's a whole lot of lovely from the Swag Bag then!
Even that die cut doily, tassel, and mirror shapes are from my Swag Bag! Gotta love it!
(& I still have enough left over for another 2 layouts easy!)
Fabulous!
Here's a few close ups of this super sweet layout....

How cool are the coloured wooden shapes from the Take Me Away collection?!!

That stunning bow (& coordinating paper) are also from Pink Paislee's Take Me Away collection. Swoon!
That divine tassel is signature Crate Paper style!!!

Love that arrow paperclip - perfect for scrapping or planners ;)

Naww! Love these two & this layout of them is just the sweetest!!!
And love me a Swag Bag or three too!

Paper Issues: October Roll the Dice

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues fun with the new challenge

This month the dice determined that we need to use 6 photos!
& exactly 3 stickers on our layouts!
WOW! That's quite a lot of pictures and not many stickers at all!
But you know,
I do love a good challenge....
Here's my take,

"Wander"

How awesome is this?!!
I have been meaning to scrap these holiday pics since about April, & I am so glad I finally did it!
I LOVED the scrap lift we did last month of Orange Gearle's grid style layout,
& this is really another take on it!
To make my photos 'fit', I combined 4 of them into the one pic using a photo editing app on my phone.
I've used the fabulous new Shimelle collection: GoNowGo & my three stickers are the 2 tiny yellow puffy hearts plus, that incredible rose gold glitter Thickers title, 'Wander'.
Let's take a closer look.....

The Thickers in this collection are stunning, huh?! Love this title!

Apart from the bright & fun colours in the pattern papers,
there's also a bunch of sweet coordinating embellishments in this layout including ephemera, puffy stickers, & wooden buttons.

Those wooden buttons are really cool! A great alternative to flair too!

Let's GO! Best little holiday we've had in a while - so much fun!!!
Check out the cute pic below...

Hilarious! Love my boy!!!
So glad this challenge got me to scrap these special memories!

Love the new Shimelle collection as much as I do?

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Make A Wish Pocket Letter!

Hi Creative Friends!
Today I am sharing something a little different with the stunning
MAKE A WISH collection!
A lil Happy Mail!!!
Snail mail or, pocket letters, are such a wonderful surprise to receive in the letterbox these days; such a novelty!
& there's nothing more fun to create either!
Here's a recent pocket letter I've created for someone super sweet....

img_20160927_130036
Isn't this just lovely?!!!
Make A Wish is the prettiest collection! And it's perfect for everyday occasions too!
I've selected the pattern paper, CV-MWOO3 - PARTY DOTS, for the base of my mail as I just adore both sides of it! Hard to tell which is the B side - it's divine!!!
As this is the 'front cover' of the letter, the chipboard sticker, 'hello beautiful' is an ideal greeting sentiment. I've also used a chipboard frame, and heart banner to embellish with. You'll also spy lots of pretty die-cut ephemera, and a few puffy stickers and sparkly enamel dots on the cover too!
Just gorgeous!
Let's take a peak inside now.......
img_20160927_130224
Oh, how cute is this?!!
Celebrate You, indeed! Love it!
I've created a couple of pocket strips to hold some happy mail sweet treats. Here's what's underneath all those goodies...
img_20160927_130408
Love that stitched journal card - such an inspirational quote too! It's from another of my favourite pattern papers,
You'll notice I've also embellished with a couple wood veneers accessory stickers on this page. Pretty!
I must also mention, that I scrap-lifted this pocket letter design from the gorgeous Kylie Kingham, who has totally inspired me to get back into sending ole' fashion mail. She's totally rocking the pocket letters!
Here's the flipside of my sweet mail.....
img_20160927_130552
I've created an extra pocket, filled with 'all the things' to make a girl say, "YAY"!
Hope she likes it!
On the opposite side I've created another strip pocket to hold a letter, which I've decorated with both Alphabet and  Accessory stickers - isn't it cute?!!
Such a fabulous and fun way to celebrate and cheer up friends!
img_20160927_130746
And there you have it! Happy Mail that's guaranteed to bring a smile ;)
Hope this post has got you inspired to create a little extra love for the mail box this week
& share the Cocoa Vanilla Studio love with your friends!
