Just divine!!!
But there's more embellishment goodness to this layout, check out the fabulous ephemera flowers and hearts....

Charms Creations: September Challenge: A Lil Sketchy

Hi my Creative Friends!

Welcome back for more Sketchy Challenge fun!

Today I'm joining in with girls over at Charms Creations and their September Challenge looks like this....

What a terrific sketch from the talented Amanda Hartmann!
Totally fun & so easy to play along with!
& did I mention that there's a $25 Charms Creations online store voucher up for grabs too?!!
I know, great incentive to get scrapping!
But before you disappear to go and create your own entry - here's mine,

A simple, but I think very sweet, 8.5"x11" layout of my two fave boys!

"Keeper"

I know, how divine is that photograph? Quite literally, a keeper!
And while we're talking all things divine - how good is that Charms Creations Teal Star?
Love it!!!
I've also been trying to scrap my stash lately - so this page is created from all my left overs from Amy Tangerine's, Rise & Shine Collection.
Love the puffy stickers, ephemera and coordinating washi tape too!

Here's a closer look at all those lovelies.....

That teal star & title really adorn my layout perfectly!
I love the happy feel the yellow and aqua tones create together - really enhances my photograph!
Such a beautiful moment captured!
Speaking of captured, here's a closer look at that too cute camera ephemera too....

A really fun and playful element!
The journal stickers are Bella Blvd, and the wooden veneers are from my stash!
All gorgeous and partner so well together!

Anyways, that's my take on the September Sketch challenge - hope you liked it!

Thankyou so very much for taking time to view it!

Guest Designer: Couture Creations

Hi Everyone!

I am super delighted to be returning to Couture Creations as a Guest Designer this month!
Boy-Oh-Boy,
How I've missed being part of this incredibly talented and inspirational team!

So a huge thanks to Kerrie, & the team, for inviting me back!

Today I am sharing this simple, but very beautiful, contemporary 8.5" x 11" layout
featuring the gorgeous new Christmas Emporium papers and Christmas Eve Intricutz Dies....

"Merry"

I know, just gorgeous!!!
Here's the products I used to create it....

Loving that Christmas Emporium paper! Vintage, versatile and very, very pretty!
And those dies are divine!

Here's a quick step-by-step on recreating this page

1. Pre-cut the above featured Christmas Eve Intricutz Dies, Be Merry & Cardinal Wreath in white cardstock and Dasher in kraft. Place aside for use later.

2. Trim white cardstock to 8.5" x 11".
Trim pattern papers - striped pattern is 8" x 10.5", and holly pattern is 7.5" x 6".
Use a sewing machine and stitch into place, as shown above.

3. While sewing machine is still out, attach a chipboard title onto a kraft tag, and stitch around it to create interest.

4. Attach photograph, kraft die cut Dasher reindeer & tag onto layout, as shown above.

5. Adhere remaining die cuts onto the page, as shown.

6. Embellish with a scattering of pretty ruby gemstones.

7. Add a lil gold Glitzin Glamour to the bell flourish die cut.

8. Add a few more chipboard shapes - I used a postage stamp & bird - so sweet!
Here's a closer look....

And that's how easy it is to create simple, but quite beautiful pages, for your Christmas Albums!
Hope you enjoyed my post today!
I'll be back later this month with one more Couture Creations project to share with you all!

Thanks for visiting,

Happy Arty Days,

 Yep. Really, really happy!!!
How could this not make you smile?!
A super cool lil guy with super cool, pattern papers & a colour palette that sings of Summer!
Minty hues with pops of tangerine and navy - pure awesomeness!
I am especially loving that mint stripe pattern paper, including its reverse side too...
Isn't it divine?! I have used the hearts side to matte my photograph too! Love it!
I've also used the reverse side of this striking paper to add a more masculine feel to my layout,
Those navy and white chevrons add a slightly nautical & Summer feel also!
But there's more than just fabulous papers in Life Is Beautiful, there's lots of amazing embellishments!
I have used a few of them to adorn my page, let's take a closer look...

Lots of die cut ephemera that would suit any layout.....

Guest Designer: Couture Creations: September #2

Hi Lovelies,

Today I am sharing my final Guest Designer project for
Couture Creations for September!
I have had so much fun!
Let me say, I am totally in love with the Christmas Emporium collection - so very pretty!!

I've created another really modern and contemporary page again,
But this time it's a boy page with the pretty blue toned pattern papers.
Here's my 8.5" x 11" layout,

"Jolly, Merry Boy"

How cute is this boy & his Santa?!! Love it!
And aren't those blue Christmas papers just divine?!!
Evidence that vintage papers don't necessarily need to be vintage style layouts.

Here's a snapshot of the products I've used today.....

And here's how to recreate this page....

1. Pre cut the above featured Christmas Eve Intricutz Dies: Be Merry & Mistletoe in kraft cardstock. Place aside for use later.

2. Trim the above featured Christmas Emporium pattern paper into 8.5" x 11". Keep the off cuts!

3. Trim white cardstock into 8" x 10.5", and trim the 'off cuts' into 7.5" x 3". Adhere to layout as shown above.

4. Create layers with above featured blue striped patterned paper.

5. Attach kraft mistletoe die cuts, photogrpah and blue adhesive chipboard tag.

6. Adhere the 'Merry' die cut, & an embellishment.
I used a pretty handmade heart from Charms Creations, but any medium sized embellie would work well here.

7. Complete the page with your favourite blue ink, and those too sweet blue Gemstones.

Voila!

A super fun, happy Christmas page to add to your Album -
or if you're like me,
I am creating an 8.5" x 11" December Daily that I will add this to!
Christmassy Cheer!
