Imaginarium Designs: Theme Post

Hi gorgeous people!

Welcome back for a super quick post featuring some stunning chipboard from

First up, my lovely May theme post creation.

The theme for May was birthdays - so I created this oh-so-pretty mini canvas and easel as an alternative birthday card....

Soooo sweet! I love the butterflies and the glitter finish on the title! Such a lovely birthday salutation!
&
Secondly, I have my June theme project to share.
The theme for June was to create a feminine layout based on the mood board below;

Such an inspirational board to drarw from!
Oh, & that awesome font you spy is from Jodie York over at Polka Dot Creative. Too cool!
Anyway, here's my take on it....

Imagine Layout

Dripping with girly, pink prettiness!
Isn't she the sweetest?!

There you have it! Short & sweet from me today -
but if you liked those fabulous chipboards be sure to visit Imaginarium Designs here.

Thanks for stopping by,

Kaisercraft: Into The Wild Collection

Hi everyone!

Welcome back for more inspirational ideas with Kaisercraft's latest collection,

Into The Wild

As the name suggests, this collection is a mix of jungle greens, safari browns,
& is totally zoo & safari friendly!
To be honest, not to my usual style or taste - until I started creating with it!

Here's a peak at two of my Safari style layouts.....

"White Rhino"

Yes - that is a real White Rhino that I had the amazing opportunity of getting up close to!!!
Such an amazing and majestic creature!
And how cool is that patterned paper?

Here's a second take on my Rhino page,

"Wild Safari"

Lots of really cool collectables and stickers on this one!
More fabulous print papers too!

Time to get some more zoo pics to use with this awesome new collection.

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Hello Lovely!

Hi everyone!
Welcome back for more Cocoa Vanilla Studio deliciousness!
Today I am sharing the first of many pretty layouts I’ve been creating with the gorgeous new collection;
And I’ll start by declaring that it lives up to its name! Hello Lovely is just oh-so-lovely indeed!
There are so many pretty, soft & feminine elements to this range –  precious papers, divine diecut ephemera, pastel enamel dots – the list goes on! I could really rave about how aaaah-mazing Hello Lovely is for days!
But instead, let’s allow my layout do the talking! Afterall a picture really does say a thousand words…..
“Love You” layout
2015-06-06 13.39.22
I know, how sweet are my two together? Love this photo of them & I knew instantly that Hello Lovely would be the perfect match for it – softness, light, and happy!
If you know me, I have a thing for polka dot confetti style pattern paper – it’s just so much fun & the colour scheme in theHello Lovely collection is a perfect blend of pretty and pop! So no surprises that it was the first element I decided on for this page.
My next ‘must have’ for this layout is the incredibly pretty die cut ephemera. I am actually in love with it! Truly the prettiest of embellishments & beautifully cut!
Combine those pretty diecuts with some sweet wood veneers and enamel dots & I am in scrappy heaven!
Let’s take a closer peak……
2015-06-06 16.47.00
Love those intricate wood veneer hearts – so precious!
Oh yeah, did I mention that there are some super sweet vellum hearts?
As well as, some very cool coordinating flair buttons too?!!
Told you this collection was just amazing!
2015-06-06 16.48.03
And that wood veneer title – well it’s just so awesome! It provides perfect balance to my page too!
So there you have it, sneaky peaks at just some of the awesome paperwares and embellishments from Hello Lovely.
Oh by the way, this *limited release* collection is available in the Cocoa Vanilla Studio shop NOW!
Hope you liked my layout today & you’re left feeling inspired!

Kaisercraft: Fiesta Collection

Hi Happy Arty Days Fans!

Welcome back for more Kaisercraft awesomeness with their newest collection,

Fiesta!

This collection is all about bright, pop colour, aztec inspired patterns and FUN!
It is a really versatile range & I managed to create a few very different styled layouts with it....

"This Happened"

I know - isn't this just awesome?!! So great to play with texture & colour!
Love getting a lil inky & the stamps in this collection are totally amazing!
I've also used those fabulous Kaisermists to create this way too fun background.
So cool!
Now for something totally different.......

"Fave Moment"

I love this photo so much - I have been scrapping it over and over lately, lol!
But truly, how boy cool is this page??!
I love the mint and vibrant green pattern papers teemed up with navy - it really works!
& another cool way to use the Capture Cards in this collection too.

Here's one more layout.....

"Be Bright, Be You"

Just a really fun page with pop colour to celebrate my happy gorgeous girl!
Too cute!
And how fabulous are those collectables?!

My last creation that I am sharing with you today is this repurposed tin calendar....

The original was so drab, sad and uninspiring...
But a POP of Fiesta brights and it's now so happy & lovely to look at!
Awesome!

And there you have it!
My creations with this fabulously fun new collection!

Getting Arty with Imaginarium Designs!

Hi everyone!
Welcome back for more chipboard sensationals!
Today I am seriously Getting My Art On!
I  have been so busy of late that I haven't been doing much creating for 'me'.
Infact, I have 2 awesome kits from A Piece Of Cake Designs barely opened...  :(
- Not happy Jan -
So, enough of that whingy rutt;
time to pull out those fabulously awesome kits,
my inks, sprays, paints, and gesso
& get creating with my favourite chippies!
*BLISS*
Finally, time to play!

Here's what I got a lil painty with....

"#Go Happy"  layout

Yep, I really needed a creative outlet, lol!

How awesome is this page?!!!
I can't even begin to tell you how good it felt to just 'play'!
& those chipboards.... DIVINE!
Loving that new geometric squares border - coming to the shop soon! ;)
And let's not forget that awesome paper and embellishments from A Piece Of Cake Designs - YUM!

Lots of yummies on this page - let's take a closer look.....

Love all those golden touches!
The chippies have been inked, and then in select areas I've added some gold embossing powder for extra love....
This effect is really awesome & makes my chipboard pop!

It also compliments those gold foil and sequin embellies too.....

Some cool stamping here too....

But that photo and those way to cool chipboards are definitely the page makers!
LOVE it!

Squares Border (coming soon!)

Swirl Corners 4 per board

Imagine happy believe in a board

Next up, I want to share with you a lil page I like to call, "Ode to Louise Nelson"
(even though it is a page capturing my Miss M)

My twist on Louise's signature artistic style & (hopefully) honuring her gorgeous work!
Oh, and did I mention those fabulous arty hearts and circular chippies are from Loolabelle's new designer collection?
She is such an amazing creative!
I really do hope she knows how much she inspires us all!
Here's a closer peak at her awesome *coming soon* chipboard.....,

Gorgeous, huh?!
I treated Lou's chippies with my Faber-Castell Gelatos & then glossy accented that focal heart.
(I love the effect that layering the chipboard creates too!)
Louise's chippies always work well with mixed media creations - fun, playful and just a lil artsy!
Keep an eye out for these cool hearts coming this month!
And that cute flair, stickers and sequins - A Piece Of Cake Designs - of course!

My final layout that I am sharing today isn't created from my unopened kits, but rather from my other fave Kaisercraft stash.
& it's a lil more gritty and grungy......

"Remember A - U Rock"

How cool is this?!
More inky, stampy, drippy paint mess! Love it!
& lots of chippie awesomeness here too.....

Love those hexagons - such a strong geometric design for boy pages!
I've kept them quite simple with matte finish inks and one with pattern paper. My words and title have the same ink, then a coat of Glossy Accents to help them stand out just a little more.
Here's another view.....

Such a very cool page for a very cool boy!
