Kaisercraft: Back to Basics

Hi everyone!
Welcome back for more Kaisercraft awesomeness!
Today I am sharing my creations from the super new collection:
Back to Basics
This collection is just amazing! !! As the title suggests simple basic designs in our fave Kaisercraft colours... (love Sea Breeze - it's always been my go to Kaisercolour! )
No 6 1/2 " Paper pad, collectables,  stamps or stickers for this collection - but it is so good! Really fabulous designs that can be mixed and matched for any projects. So cool!
But enough talking for today - let's get straight into the good stuff!

Here's what I created. ....

I know, so much prettiness!!!!
Absolutely loving this stunning (but oh so simple) collection;

& I just couldn't go past those moustache wooden flourishes for this page.
Let's take a closer look....

Yep, loving it!

Here's a more grungy layout with this collection...

"Remember This Moment"

Cogs, stars, rusty patterned papers - just awesomeness!
& may fave new decorative die: C6 Bricks - love this one!
I've used it on my next layout too.....

"Adore U2"

Another cool patterned paper & how good is that giant cog?!!
It's a new specialty paper that I just cut in half for my layout  - but I totally love it!

More cool collectables and a few more fabulous decorative dies.
Scrap Yard has definitely got your boys covered!

Welcome back for more Flying High awesomeness!!!
Today I am sharing another way too fun, and very textural layout....
"Little Man"
2015-03-25 11.08.50 (1)
Yep, oh so cool!!! Love this lil guy to bits! & no better way to scrap this boy than with the awesome Flying High collection! "So much fun" indeed!
Lots of distressing, and layering of those fabulous patterned papers,
combined with delicious embellies makes this page one with so many elements and details to take in.
Let's take a few closer looks....
2015-03-25 11.17.42
Cork starswooden veneer arrows and those boy stickers really emphasize all the small details.
The watercolour and staples add more dimension too, and keep with our fun and boy-oh-boy theme....
2015-03-25 11.18.34 (1)
Those flowers are from my stash, and really just add another detail to this textural page -
as do those super cool journal cards....

I love the depth and interest that layering papers creates! By distressing all my papers I've enhanced that strong sense of texture and dimension too - perfect for masculine pages!
Forgive me, but I have to say;
Flying High is 'da bomb' for all our cool boy pages - LOL!
Hope I have inspired you to try adding a little more texture to your layouts
& have some fun playing with paper :)

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: You're One in a Million 'M'

Hi everyone!
Welcome back for more Cocoa Vanilla Studio inspiration!
Today I am sharing another super fun, & happy layout using the Sugar & Spice collection.
"You're One In A Million 'M'"
2015-05-06 11.33.41
I know - how very sweet is this?!! I just had to scrap this photo & the gorgeous Sweet Heart patterned paper was just perfect!!!
To keep with the warmth and playfulness of this layout I teamed those hearts (& pretty gingham checks) with the reverse side of the Garden Girl paper. The result speaks for itself; fun, bright, and happy!!!
To highlight these stunning papers, I've kept to a really simple layout design & incorporated lots of stickers, cork hearts, sequins and a cute flair button for embellishments.
Let's take a closer look........
2015-05-06 11.44.16
So much fun! I love the 'female' silhouette stickers, staples and rustic sewing - they really add to the fun feel of this layout. Infact, the stickers in the Sugar & Spice collection are all totally awesome and that's why I've used so many of them today. Check out the cool skinny sticker that ended up being my title......
2015-05-06 11.46.16
Okay, so the "M" is a thicker but how cool is that one in a million sticker??!!! I also looooove those sticker arrows too.....
2015-05-06 11.47.32
And I added the bow for more girly fun!!!
The cork hearts are one of my fave products! Not only do they tie in with my sibling love theme, but the gorgeous natural look of cork adds both texture and depth to my page....
2015-05-06 11.48.202015-05-06 11.49.10
Yep, Sugar & Spice is sooooooo fabulously fun and happy!!! Love it!
Hope this layout has inspired you to get creating more of those happy-go-lucky moments too!
